You seem familiar
It was an odd thing suddenly having an entire languages worth of information show up in your head. it was even odder when you have an innate sense of power coming from that language that is in your head. infernal script was a strange mix of curves and jagged edges that radiated a sense of power and seemed tied to the fundamental forces of the world somehow. leon experimented with the script to test its abilities for a few hours and almost died three times. the first time was when he made a gravity circle that was close to a hundred times remnants gravity.
If it was for his hell fire not being affected by gravity he would have ran out of lifeforce to keep him alive before disabling the circle. the second time was when he created a time based seal in hopes of storing food for an indefinite amount of time only to have his heart beat get frozen in time causing his blood to still. anyone familiar with anatomy would know how disastrous such a thing could be if not fixed within minutes. leon had to literally rip out the frozen heart and regenerate a new one in order to save himself.
Ironically his frozen heart had no changes even after a day had passed after he ripped it out proving he could preserve food this way if he could figure it out. the final time leon almost died during his experiments was when he captured a grim to experiment on. only for him to accidentally turn the thing into a replicater that could grow clones of itself at rapid pace since he wanted to try and create a regeneration seal. besides those three times leon picked up the use of the script at a frighteningly quick pace only needing the last two days of his leave to master it.
On the last day leon created a huge circle on a flat area with a diameter of ten meters that was filled with infernal script so dense it looked like a solid black hole. 'the description said i could use this script to summon stuff so lets see about getting me a familiar.' he thought before pouring a huge amount of mana into the circle. the outer most lines of script lit up with a dull golden red glow before the rest of the circle also started to light up with the glow moving towards the center of the circle.
Majority of the familiar summoning circle was actual just precautions that leon added in order to make sure that on the off chance he might accidentally call forth a eldritch god he didn't go mad or allow it to go free. once the entire circle was lit up a thrum of power pulsed from it before a rainbow colored orb the size of a person appeared then vanished along with the glow of the mana in the circle. in the center of the circle sat an egg the size of a medium sized dog that was cream with black and orange patterns.
Leon cut his palm and the blood that flowed out seemed to defy gravity and float straight to the egg before his hand healed. as the blood touched the egg it seemed to get absorbed and leon felt a odd sort of mental or maybe spiritual would be a better description , connection to the egg. 'the good news is that i now have a familiar , the bad news is that i have no fucking clue what it is until it hatches.' leon complained half heartedly to himself.
Leon stashed the egg in his expanded space bag that he created with his infernal script earlier and flapped his wings to rise through the air. leon had already killed every thing in mount glen including the stuff hiding in the underground which he simply blasted with hell fire until it collapsed from the pressure. this had caused the entire city that was resting above those tunnels to sink dramatically but leon could care less. before leon got to far away from the ritual summoning circle he made sure to destroy it with a steady stream of hell flame to melt the whole thing into little more than a puddle of slagged earth.

I'll shout out the first person to figure out what the familiar is inside the egg. hint: it's from a popular video game.
