Reincarnated With The Degenerate System

Chapter 127: CH-127

"You're telling me you preferred that guy? I 'm a thousand times better than him—and that's me being modest."

The fan shuddered, and the wind grew wilder, tearing at my shadow armor in a desperate, useless struggle.

Then a notification flashed into my view.

[Host, would you like to conquer and dominate the celestial weapon completely and transfer its power to your spear?]

[Yes / No]

I didn't answer right away.

'Will it get destroyed?'

[Affirmative]

If I transferred it into my spear, the fan would be gone for good. Reduced to scrap, swallowed whole.

And honestly? It stung a lot just thinking about it. This thing could fight on its own at an S‑Rank level. It had to be worth a fortune.

It has the kind of value that surpassed monetary instrument—rare resources, back‑room favors, doors opening where they normally stayed welded shut.

"Hm," I hummed, the pros and cons crashing into my head.

If I let it be absorbed, I would erase every trail that could be used to track it back to me. Which meant Mythical wouldn't come knocking anytime soon.

'It's sentient,' I muttered. 'So what—does it just disappear if I take its power?"'

[The sentient being will not be destroyed, as the power is bound to its existence. The fan is merely a vessel.]

[The entity will be sealed within your spear. Control will be absolute once the system fully binds it]

[The wind ability will grow alongside the Moonlight Dragon Spear, enhancing its power over time.]

"DO IT."

The moment I finished my last syllable, the world snapped into darkness.

Then, light returned, and I found myself above the clouds.

Beneath my feet, the soft white fluff stretched endlessly, but I could feel solid ground. A hard platform, unnaturally perfect, suspended in the sky.

In front of me coiled a dragon, pale as snow, wrapped around what looked like a massive pillar.

It had no wings, no legs, no feet—just a long, serpentine body covered in smooth, white feathers that shimmered faintly in the light.

The only thing that marked it as a dragon was its head: sharp, angular, crowned with curling goat-like horns that gleamed against the whiteness.

Slowly, its eyes opened, revealing diamond-like pupils that gleamed with a sharp, piercing light.

(Explain how you breached my consciousness.)

The voice rolled out, loud and echoing, filling the space around me like a storm trapped in crystal.

"I have my ways," I shrugged. "So… you're the one who's been refusing to submit to me, huh? Care to tell me why?"

Its tail moved, a vast white coil sliding through the air, and for a second I honestly thought it was about to swat me straight into the clouds.

Instead, the dragon remained still.

(You are not worthy to wield my power. Nor am I interested in aiding someone like you.)

"Why not?" I raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "I'm a very fair person."

"Fair?" it scoffed. "Others may fail to see it, but I can tell—from your smell—that you are a greedy being. One who would stop at nothing to further your own cause. I have seen countless people like you… and every last one of them was eaten alive by power in the end."

I let the words sink in.

Then I laughed.

"What a hypocrite. You kept talking like you were some holy weapon—but you still let that idiot use you."

"So stop being stubborn… before I stop pretending to be nice." My voice dropped, all warmth draining out of it as the words slid free.

(You think you can threaten me inside my own domain?) It rose higher along the pillar, it's feathered body uncoiling as it looked down at me from above.

I didn't back down. I planted my feet and held my stance, a slow smile creeping across my lips as I stared past her.

A timer ticked in the corner of my vision, counting down.

[00:05]

[00:04]

[00:03]

[00:02]

[00:01]

She must've sensed it but it was already too late.

[00:00]

[System Takeover Activating]

"Corrupted by power?" I murmured. "No."

The system descended like the apocalypse, and the whole place trembled beneath it—pillar, clouds, and sky shuddering .

"I am the power."

The peaceful sky rotted into blood‑red chaos. Light curdled. Darkness poured in from every direction, eating through the clouds like a swarm of starving insects, shredding white into shadow.

"You imbecile!" she roared.

Wind erupted from her body in a furious surge, a gale meant to rip the darkness apart—but it barely made a dent.

Darkness devoured everything, and silence pressed in so hard it felt like it could crush sound itself.

And I only watched, knowing full well what was really happening. This wasn't destruction. Her consciousness was being dragged, kicking and screaming, into the darkest corner of my Moonlight Dragon Spear.

The system kept pressing in until the darkness finally took everything—the dragon, the sky, the pillar… and me right along with it.

I was floating in total emptiness. There was no sky, no ground, not even clouds—just an endless, dark void that pressed against me, making it hard to tell up from down.

And then she appeared.

A woman, completely naked, with hair as white as snow and eyes that shone like diamonds.

It didn't take me long to realize it was the dragon. To think she was actually a woman—and a very pretty and sexy one at that.

Her skin was so pale it almost looked unreal, but her face was perfectly unique, making her beautiful in a way that didn't feel human.

Another thing that made her truly unique, was that even her most private areas were as white as snow, so seamless it was hard to discern the opening.

However, I could still tell she had one—the subtle swell of her chest and the thick shape of her camel toe.

She gritted her teeth and looked at me with resentment.

"What did you do to me?"

"Nothing," I chuckled softly. "I just took your consciousness and transferred it into my spear. Pretty handy, right? This place might not be as cozy as where you were before… but you'll learn to love it soon enough."
