Reincarnated with the Country System

Chapter 308: War Plan— Bernard side

Northern Ocean

The Bernard Empire also sent their newly formed Fourth Fleet as reinforcements—and a submarine fleet as well.

Both sides began to take formation.

Scene: Command Room of BNS Akagi

The Bernard Empire's massive aircraft carrier, BNS Akagi, sliced through dark waters. Its deck buzzed with drones and fighter jets being prepped. Deep inside, within the heart of the command tower, tension thickened like storm clouds. Admiral Akari stood at the center, gazing at the holographic tactical map, lit by the blue glow of satellites.

Admiral Akari:

"Captain, status."

Fleet Captain Hargrove (stiffly):

"All units are taking formation, Sir. The Fourth Fleet has joined the Second Fleet. The submarine fleet has reported full stealth readiness. No enemy contact yet—just long-range magic signals."

Admiral Akari (nodding):

"And the sky?"

Air Officer Yelton:

"Clear skies. But they're out there. High-altitude scouts have visual confirmation—airborne shapes. Too far for engagement."

Akari's eyes narrowed as he studied the updated satellite feed. Massive formations blinked red—enemy ships, flying war beasts, and magical signal distortions.

Admiral Akari:

"Zoom in. I want a full reading on their fleet."

The screen shifted. Labels appeared over the Indianan positions.

Intel Officer Lisette:

"Based on orbital reconnaissance and intercepted magical frequencies, the Indiana Empire has deployed 634 naval ships, 57 flying warships, and approximately 500 aerial beasts. Formation tight. Defense focused on the central four Nagaratha-class flagships."

Tactical Officer Brann:

"These Nagaratha ships… we've confirmed—they aren't just aircraft carriers. They're living fortresses."

He tapped the screen, highlighting four massive vessels in the enemy core. Strange symbols floated around them—glyphs of power, ward circles, thunderstorm patterns.

Brann (continuing):

"They carry flying monsters and magic units. But more importantly, each has arcane towers—stormcasters. Capable of large-scale weather-based spell attacks: lightning, wind blasts, hail. If those towers remain functional, we may lose air superiority in the war."

Admiral Akari (quietly):

"Then we neutralize them first."

He stepped back. His sharp eyes locked on the officer team.

Admiral Akari:

"Mark them. Priority targets: the four Nagaratha-class carriers."

Brann:

"Aye, Sir."

The map blinked as the carriers were circled in red.

Lisette:

"However… they're shielded. Barrier magic—reactive, layered, and ancient. Each ship is surrounded by Lanka-class warships. These aren't normal escorts. Their magic artillery can sink destroyers in a single volley."

Admiral Akari (thinking):

"And their air support?"

Yelton:

"Significant. Thunderbird squadrons spotted. Capable of 500 km/h flight speed and electrical discharge attacks. There are also dragons, manticores, griffins. But the Thunderbirds are the fastest and best-coordinated."

Brann:

"Our jets are faster… but not maneuverable in magical storms. If those towers trigger weather anomalies, dogfights will be chaos."

Silence. Akari placed a hand on the table, scanning the sea's layout.

Admiral Akari:

"Suggestions."

Brann:

"Hit them where they won't expect it. A decoy strike. Send part of our fleet forward, force them to activate shields early. Let them expose their barrier rhythm."

Lisette:

"Then use electronic warfare—our artificial magicians are on standby. They can simulate frequency overloads. That'll disrupt the outer layer of magical protection."

Admiral Akari:

"And once we crack it… then we send the real strike. Torpedoes from submarines, anti-ship missiles from stealth bombers, and long-range drones. We'll need to time everything to the second."

Yelton:

"I recommend a three-stage air assault. First wave, drones. Second wave, fighter jets and bombers. Third wave, fast-reaction interceptors to cut off their Thunderbirds."

Admiral Akari:

"Casualty projection?"

Brann:

"Heavy… if we fail to take out the Nagarathas in the first ten minutes. But if we succeed, their formation collapses."

Lisette:

"And their morale will break."

Akari stared at the central carrier symbol—largest among the four. Nagaratha-Prime. The jewel of the Indiana fleet. A floating palace of magic, ancient stone mixed with enchanted steel. There were rumors that the ship was alive, enchanted with a soul that had served ten kings.

Admiral Akari (coldly):

"Then we kill the heart first."

Flight Deck of BNS Alberto, Fourth Fleet

Fighter jets stood like steel birds of war. Maintenance crews ran diagnostics. The newest aircraft—B-9 Valkyrie Stealth Bombers, 2030s tech—were parked near the edge, ready for silent launch.

Drones buzzed overhead, equipped with jammers and EMP warheads designed to short magical circuits.

Below the waves, Seadrake-class submarines held position—silent predators armed with anti-magic torpedoes and experimental reactor cooling to avoid magical detection.

Back in the War Room

A younger officer entered, holding a tablet.

Comms Officer Radner:

"Transmission from Submarine Command. Squads Alpha and Beta are in position. Waiting for confirmation."

Admiral Akari:

"Hold them. Not yet. I want more on their sea monsters."

Lisette:

"Right. Intel suggests two types—one serpent-class, capable of ramming and diving attacks. The other—Leviathan-type—slower but massive. Each possibly controlled by magical channels from the Nagarathas."

Brann:

"Our artificial magicians will assist the submarines. Disruption rituals and binding protocols. If the beasts are controlled via enchantments, we might sever the link."

Admiral Akari:

"Good. I want one submarine unit shadowing each Nagaratha. No matter how strong the barriers, if we launch an attack from above and below—at the exact moment the shield flickers—it'll collapse."

Yelton (grinning):

"And once the towers fall, the skies belong to us."

Aircraft began preparing for the upcoming battle on the decks of the Bernard Empire's aircraft carriers. All the crews got busy.

The ships started taking their positions.

Back in the Command Tower

Admiral Akari walked toward the forward observation window. The sea stretched ahead, moonlight gleaming on dark waters. He could feel the presence of something distant—vast wings, ancient songs of battle magic, the smell of incense and ozone in the air.

Admiral Akari (quietly):

"Let them see us coming. Let them fear what we've become."

Behind him, the officers were running checks, confirming strike paths, synchronizing the submarines, preparing the artificial magicians, and finalizing drone payloads.

Captain Hargrove:

"Orders, Sir?"

Admiral Akari:

"Begin pre-battle countdown. Alert the Fourth Fleet. All hands to full alert. No one fires until I give the command."

The map zoomed in again. In front of them was a fleet of hundreds of ships from the Indiana Empire.

Admiral Akari (grimly):

"We strike only once. Make it count."
