The nobility ranking specialized as it went lower, creating a perfect chain of command that connected the citizens to the emperor perfectly with the marquis under the duke, then the count, viscount, and baron. The structure was like a pyramid, merit flowing upward, authority cascading down, a system designed for eternal efficiency.

You guys have done a good job in creating a perfect structure. I must say I'm deeply impressed," Aaron praised. To be fair, he wouldn't have come up with such a perfect structure had it been him alone. The Codex's influence was clear, a lucky draw masterpiece.

"It's majorly thanks to your Codex. It did most of the work," Michael praised, his voice carrying admiration, the courtroom's mana lights reflecting in his eyes.

"All that remains is for you to bestow the nobility title to those you want," Blade said, his bow deep and respectful.

"I chose the merit system, because as eternals, granting out positions by favoritism will cause the empire to rot. And it's going to be hard to fix a decaying immortal empire. So we follow the Codex," Aaron made his decision, his voice firm, the throne's armrest cool under his tapping fingers.

"In that case, Blade remains your special advisor and head of your personal imperial knights, taking care of the needs of you and your family. Isobel, Michael, and Leonardo are archdukes," Alice said, her tone proud, gesturing to the list.

"Leonardo?"

"One of the new talents that was discovered recently. An excellent support-type awakened that was hidden by the federation and forced to work secretly. The entire reconstitution of the castle to be this magnificent is all his. His creativity is off the chart," Blade explained, his voice filled with respect for the newcomer.

"I see. So what are their roles?"

"Archduke Isobel is in charge of order, Archduke Leonardo innovation, and Archduke Michael, vigilance. Duke Leo and Duke Hayley are the dukes under Archduke Michael. Duchess Caroline and Duke Derrick under Archduchess Isobel, and Duke Gregory and Cullen under Archduke Leonardo. These are the list for the rest nobilities," Blade said, offering the list to Aaron. The parchment was crisp, inscribed with glowing runes, a product of the Codex's magic.

"I see. Then prepare the coronation ceremony as well as a ceremony to celebrate Athanys' founding. Get them done with as soon as possible before I return," Aaron said, rising on his feet. His robe swirled, the throne's shadow lengthening behind him, a symbol of his authority.

"My lord. Where exactly are you going?" Blade asked, his bow deepening in concern.

"As you have all noticed, the sanctuary isn't just a small world anymore. It's now as big as Blue Star. And the population isn't far off from Blue Star. So I suggest you increase the nobles for better governance and administration. As for me, I plan to take care of the last problem within Blue Star and then the last chapter of Blue Star will be closed for good," Aaron informed, opening a rift once more as he made his way to Blue Star, to finish his last mission. The rift shimmered, a portal to vengeance, his steps echoing with purpose.

---

"System draw," Aaron called out, a little bit pissed. Once again he had missed a good four months to receive rewards. The rift closed behind him, Blue Star's air hitting him like a familiar slap, the planet's restored landscape a testament to his power.

[Congratulations on gaining the sovereign rank item, seal breaker's token (one time use).]

[Seal breaker's token]

Breaks the seal on any locked abilities of yours for an instant. The unlocked ability can be used only once before it is locked.

"Great. My luck is back to being shitty," Aaron sighed, not dwelling too much on the reward. The token felt like a consolation prize in his lucky draw system, useful but not the jackpot he craved.

"Status," Aaron muttered to check just how much he had grown before he meets his prey. The familiar window popped up in his mind, stats glowing like a progression report card.

[CONGRATULATIONS!]

[YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY UNLOCKED LEVEL TWO OF YOUR SYSTEM!]

"You don't have to do too much. It's just level two," Aaron said with a flat face, his excitement tempered, the system's fanfare feeling overdone.

[...]

[3..2..1...]

"Yes!!!!!! Finally!!" Aaron said, screaming at the top of his voice excitedly. Dignity? Pride? Self respect? To hell with all of that. As long as Aaron was concerned, none of those mattered anymore. Not to him. His shout echoed across the restored landscape, birds scattering in surprise, his hybrid heart pounding with joy.

[You have become so easy to predict. To think this is the emperor of some people. Tsk. Game's gone.]

Aaron ignored the system's antics. He didn't care what the system was saying. All he wanted to know was the benefit of his upgrade. The level-up felt like a major lucky draw milestone, his mind buzzing with anticipation.

"Alright, system. What are the benefits?" Aaron asked, anticipation bubbling within him, his eyes gleaming as he waited for the reveal.
