Reincarnated with a lucky draw system

Chapter 132: ATTAINING GOD RANK

"Is there any way I can devour the dungeon cores with just my blood, system?" Aaron asked the system.

[They should. Your blood is an extension of you. If you focus carefully, you should be able to devour the cores like that. Your primogenitor bloodline is greater than you think.]

Following the system's instructions, Aaron willed his blood to devour the cores, an interesting phenomenon happening afterwards. The cores disintegrated into Aaron's blood as energy essence, the power surging through the red liquid like electricity.

This essence was transferred to Aaron through his connection with his blood until every single core was devoured, Aaron brimming with so much strength. The energy rushed into him, a tidal wave of power that made his veins glow, his body trembling with the influx.

Just like with the abyss core, Aaron's primogenitor bloodline utilized the energy from the dungeon cores to increase the strength of Aaron's bloodline and soul. The upgrade was visceral, his blood thickening, soul expanding, a level-up that felt like multiple lucky draws at once.

Aaron felt himself growing stronger by the minute. His connection with the sanctuary also grew stronger as he felt the size of the sanctuary growing more and more. The link pulsed like a heartbeat, the sanctuary expanding in his mind's eye, islands forming, mana thickening.

After what felt like forever, Aaron opened his eyes, his strength leaping greatly. The world seemed sharper, colors brighter, his hybrid senses amplified to godlike levels.

[Congratulations on officially reaching the god rank, Host!]

"God rank, huh? So this is what it feels like?" Aaron asked, flexing his fingers, power crackling like lightning under his skin.

With just a thought, the blood that flooded the entire Blue Star retracted to his body, disappearing like it never existed. The red sea vanished in a swirl, the ground drying instantly, the air clearing of the iron scent.

"Cool. I feel like the quantity and quality of my blood has increased," Aaron said, making his observation from the withdrawn blood. He had expected the process to take a while considering the quantity of blood, but every single drop was sucked into him in an instant, his body absorbing it seamlessly.

[That's to be expected considering what you have been doing since the past four months, and your increased strength.]

"Tsk. Time sure flies quickly," Aaron muttered, the months feeling like a blur in his reincarnated grind.

[You can send the immortals and hybrids to the sanctuary now. And then we can move to the next step] the system advised.

"Sure," Aaron replied, opening a rift in front of every single immortal and hybrid he had created during the process. The rifts appeared like tears in reality, glowing portals dotting the landscape.

In other words, Aaron created billions of rifts all across Blue Star, a testament to his upgraded sanctuary and his own strength. The air hummed with energy, the planet briefly alive with his power.

"I don't feel the presence of Draken. It seemed he wasn't turned by my blood. That's a relief cause I still want to kill him myself," Aaron said coldly, his senses scanning the planet for the demon.

[Indeed. You should be able to sense his location now considering your newfound strength.]

Aaron followed the instructions of his system, spreading his senses. His sense, which could only cover an entire city when stretched to the max, easily covered the entire Blue Star as it searched for an anomaly within the planet. The expansion was effortless, like a god's gaze sweeping the world.

"Found it," Aaron muttered, discovering the only place that rejected the interference of his extended senses. The spot felt like a void in his perception, a hidden pocket of resistance.

[What now? Are you going to deal with him once and for all?] The system asked Aaron.

"Nope. That will be tomorrow. For now, I want to see my family and friends," Aaron said, after the last immortal entered the rift. The portals closed with a soft pop, the planet emptying, leaving him alone under the stars.

Aaron opened a rift for himself, returning to his sanctuary after four months. The familiar energy washed over him as he stepped through, a homecoming filled with the promise of reunion and further power.

"What's the corruption percentage?" Draken asked Geralt, a deep frown creasing his face. His voice echoed in the dimly lit chamber, the air heavy with the hum of dark machinery, the walls pulsing with a sickly red glow that reflected his growing unease.

"95% completed. But it seems the essence of everyone has been used up. What do we do now?" Geralt informed, his tone sharp with worry. He stood by the corruption console, its screens flickering with ominous data, his hands clenched as the realization of their dwindling resources sank in.

"That's simple to answer. I use you," Draken informed, his voice cold and unyielding, eyes glinting with ruthless determination. The demon lord's presence filled the room, his aura oppressive, like a storm about to break.

"What nonsense are you spouting? You can't use me as a battery!" Geralt outright refused, his face twisting in defiance. His fists tightened, muscles tensing, the idea of being reduced to fuel igniting a spark of rebellion in his eyes.

"You don't have a say in this. You have to be used, like it or not. I believe I'm not the only one that felt that great energy expenditure over the past four months. I don't know what's the cause. But all I know is that's likely not an ally. So it's either you do as I say and we get this done, create a connection to my world directly and wait for backup, or we wait for whatever caused that phenomenon and leave our lives in their hands. It's your choice to choose," Draken said coldly. His words cut like a blade, his gaze locking onto Geralt, leaving no room for argument, the weight of their hidden bunker's isolation pressing down.

"Tsk. You better not drain me dry, or I swear I will never let you off!" Geralt said, offering himself in the end, his voice laced with grudging acceptance. He stepped toward the corruption device, his heart pounding with dread, the air thick with the scent of ozone and dark magic.

Just like Draken, he had also felt the intense energy, and the explanation from his son Nathan filled him with dread. The unseen force had shaken their fortified hideout, a ripple of power that made the walls tremble, as if the planet itself was alive with malice.

"We need to hurry up. That was definitely Aaron's doing. What I saw was definitely blood with overwhelming essence. Although I'm failing to understand how he amassed so much strength that he could cover the entire planet," Nathan said, biting his nails nervously. His eyes darted around the bunker, his youthful face pale, the memory of Aaron's blood sea haunting him like a nightmare.

Unlike Geralt and Draken, who only felt the immense energy and nothing else, Nathan's eyes had pierced through the protective field of their hidden compartment and watched Aaron all through the entire month while Aaron was carrying out the unthinkable, and he was completely scared out of his wits. The vision of the crimson tide swallowing Blue Star lingered, a relentless force that made his hands tremble.

"Now's not the time for conversation. Let's get on with this already. Only 5% is left. If what you said is true, then we have to complete the corruption before he comes for us. This is a race against time," Draken said, a serious look etched on his face. He moved to the console, fingers flying over the controls, the machine groaning as it prepared to siphon Geralt's essence, the stakes higher than ever in their desperate bid to open a demonic portal.
