Chapter 50: Karma
"I understand." Alisa agreed reluctantly.
"Alright. As soon as you finish, we can send our scout to see the movement of the Demon Kingdom. You're dismissed." Galahan waved his hand and leaned back.
Alisa immediately left the room and started thinking about the situation, wondering what she should do with the Lustville Town. She couldn't afford to lose this town because of the situation since she considered it her Heaven.
Ultimately, she returned and followed the order. And it turned out the place was a mess.
Alisa looked at Aran with a long face. "I don't know, Aran. There's too much stuff going on there."
"Well, I can see that you look stressed from your expression alone." Aran shrugged.
"Yeah, I will have my fun tonight… It's a shame that Albert isn't here, but…" Alisa fell silent.
Suddenly, a man came by, overhearing their conversation. "Sorry, sorry. I don't mean to eavesdrop, but what do you mean it's a shame that Albert isn't here?
"Albert is our savior. You can't force him to do something he doesn't want. In fact, you shouldn't do it in the first place. I know that you love it, but I think it's time to stop."
"Huh, what?" She looked at the man with a confused expression. "What did you say? You are Timothy. I believe we have…"
"Y-yes! I admit that we have done it two times, but I feel like I have been purified. Now I can see clearly that my act is wrong. That's why I won't do it anymore." Timothy nodded with a blissful expression.
As if hearing her voice, the others also gathered around him. Alisa was bewildered beyond belief as she asked, "Did a goblin hit you on the head?"
"No. Albert hit me once, but then I realized… I am tired of being horny, I just want to be happy." Timothy let out a long sigh as if he regretted what he had done in the past.
"Truer words have never been spoken before." Someone interjected.
"Timothy's words are great!"
"That's right. It turns out I am tired of being horny… I just want to have a wife and a kid before settling down somewhere. I want to stop swinging starting from today."
"Yes. Maybe Albert coming to this town is a work of fate."
"That's right. Not only did he save us from the goblins, but he also made us realize that we don't want to be horny anymore, we just want to be happy."
"That's why Alisa… You shouldn't force yourself on Albert."
"Yeah… Wait, did you do it yesterday?"
"No way, right? Albert returned alone and with that kind of timing… I doubt something will happen."
"I see… Our hero hasn't been sullied yet."
They kept talking about Alisa and Albert, glorifying the latter.
Alisa was completely speechless as she didn't know what had happened last night.
"What actually happened in this town?" Alisa looked at Aran.
Aran scratched the back of his head and started explaining about the party. He told her about Albert's rampage after getting drunk and began to hit people.
To their surprise, the people who had been hit stopped being horny and refused to do it. They just wanted to settle down with a wife somewhere.
"What?!" Alisa dropped her jaw to the ground, not believing what she had just heard.
"That is real. I didn't lie." Aran shrugged.
"That's right. Aran didn't lie. Albert is our savior for making us realize this."
Even the others admitted it and kept praising Albert.
Alisa's face became pale as she remembered what had happened to Fila. Fila seemed more subtle when they met again after a mission, so Alisa soon connected the dot before dropping her jaw.
She grabbed Aran's clothes and asked in a panic. "How many… How many people did he hit?!"
"We didn't get the real count yet, but approximately… more than a hundred people."
"What did you say?!" Alisa raised her voice. "More than a hundred people? The town has a population of 250 and you said almost half of them turned into these maniacs?"
"What maniacs? We're normal now."
"That's right."
"Don't brand us as maniacs when you're the true maniac!"
"Horny woman, begone!"
Alisa gritted her teeth and pulled her sword out, scaring all the people. She stomped the ground and shouted on top of her lungs. "AAALLBEERRTTTT!"
While Alisa continued with her rampage, Albert had a peaceful time walking around the forest, trying to get out of this place and heading to another location.
"Hmm…" Albert opened his status while walking.
Name: Albert Gran
Level: 21
EXP: 11%
Race: Demon Dog
Title: Bonk Junior
"After bonking 120 people yesterday, I feel great. My strength has improved drastically… Although I'm still not a match against Alisa, I don't think someone can kill me that easily." Albert smiled.
He stopped for a brief moment, staring in Lustville Town's direction.
"Thank you, Lustville Town. You all may be horny, but at least, you have served your purpose. I have also freed half of you from the curse of horny." He playfully clapped his hand as if he was praying before laughing. "Haha, I can't do this… seriously."
"That's right. I can't go to the human city easily because of my race, so I only can go around the Demon King for now. According to Fila, there are seven Demon Kings based on seven deadly sins.
"They bring balance to this place and let the demons live peacefully in their own territory. I should be on the edge of one of them… I need to check the map again to know where I am going…" Albert nodded with a serious expression as he reached the map on his backpack.
His eyes immediately glued to the town mark on the bottom of the map. "This is Lustville Town and I'm not far from it. There is a town called Meio and I'm planning to go there, considering that place is similar to the town I visited with Alisa.
"Ah, that's right. Whose territory am I in right now?" Albert raised his vision before finding a huge castle symbol on the map. The moment he read it, he knew karma was real.
Lust Kingdom.
