( Yuuki's POV )

I arrived a little earlier at the place in the mall where Saya-shi and I decided to meet so to pass the time I was listening to music while typing on my smartphone about my next big project, I was so immersed in my work that I didn't notice when someone sneaked up behind me and tapped on my shoulder.

When I turn around I see the girl I helped before, Miyabi Bristol, and she looked less shy than before.

Yuuki: hey you are the girl who had problems with those pushy boys.

Miyabi: Hi, I'm sorry I couldn't introduce myself last time, I'm Miyabi Bristol. Nice to meet you.

Yuuki: Likewise, I am Kurokawa Yuuki.

Miyabi: Kurokawa? Do you know Kurokawa Yashima?

Miyabi put her hand on the paper bag she was carrying and she gave me a small gift box, when I opened it up I saw a purple ribbon with a gray bell attached to it.

Miyabi: it's to tie your hair, but I kind of, bought it thinking you were a girl, sorry.

Yuuki: You know, purple is my favorite color.

I took Miyabi's gift and used it to tie my hair, When I finished I smiled at Miyabi and moved my head slightly to the side to ring the bell.

Yuuki: You don't have to thank me for doing what I think is right, but if you want to give me something as a thank you, I'm not going to turn it down.

When I accepted her gift Miyabi was happy and we talked for a while, I recommended Miyabi to go to cafe endou and she left when she told me that she had to meet her sisters, I looked around but her sisters were nowhere to be seen, she was confused and she looked around just like me until she got a call from her sisters and she walked out of the mall.

Shortly after Miyabi left I spot Saya-shi slowly walking toward me, she was wearing a white shirt with a black skirt and her hair was tied in two ponytails with one in front of her right shoulder.

Saya-shi: h-hey, did you wait long?

Yuuki: no, I just got here.

Saya-shi always acts cool and serious but just now she was blushing and she was a bit nervous.

( Saya-shi's POV )

Today I was going to meet Yuuki at the mall, I didn't think that was anything special but when I finished changing and was about to leave the house my mom looked at me with a smile and wished me luck on my date with Yuuki, I immediately turned around and denied that it was a date, but that didn't matter to her and she continued to smile as she waved her hand, With that thought in my mind I went into my room and decided to change, and when I was ready my mom wished me luck again and I left the house without saying anything.

On the way I did not stop thinking about Yuuki, the first time I saw him was when he entered our cafe for the first time with two beautiful girls Uzume and Chiho by his side, he had moved from the capital and I had heard rumors from the boys in my class that this was normal in the capital but I never believed it, in this city the only person with two wives is the head of the Bristol family and they are super rich, every time he came to our cafe a larger group of women accompanied him but I could understand a little why so many people were attracted to him, Yuuki is kind of strange and you can't help but look his way and when you talk to him you feel comfortable as if you've known him for a long time, even my best friend Reina who basically hated men was her friend and I suspect that she wants to be something more and besides he is kind, he is not the kind of person who looks the other way when something unfair happens.

Although my mother called it a date, I was sure it wasn't like that, he already has many girlfriends and all of them are beautiful, while I was lost in my thoughts I had walked a long time and I arrived at the mall, I went to the meeting point I saw that Yuuki was talking to a pretty girl with brown hair and I felt a small tug of my heart, When the girl left I walked towards Yuuki and he greeted me with a smile. I tried to act naturally but Yuuki immediately realized something was not right.

although this is not a date after seeing him talking to that girl I wanted to spend more time with him, I suggested going places where one would go on a date and Yuuki didn't mind accompanying me and he even suggested some places but I couldn't relax during all that, I was only able to relax near the end and while we were walking back to my house when we were about to arrive Yuuki took my hand and stopped me.

Yuuki: do you feel better now?

Saya-shi: I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't much fun to be around today, huh?

Yuuki: that's not true, I always have fun when you're around.

Saya-shi: Still, this was not a very good date, right?

Yuuki: you know that this was not a date, right?

'yeah, he's right, I don't know why I'm calling it a date now'

when I was feeling worse than before, Yuuki tilted her head and kissed me on the cheek, I froze as my face felt very hot, I was blushing hard looking into Yuuki's eyes.

Yuuki: For our first real date, I'll ask you properly.

I couldn't do anything but nod my head in confirmation and then he took my hand and walked me the rest of the way home because I was still too numb from the kiss to move.

Yuuki said goodbye to me and I walked into my house like I was on autopilot with a smile on my face and my mom was there with a grin ready to comment on that.

Mamako: soo~? Did you have fun on your date?

Saya-shi: I told you, that was not a date.

Mamako: um? So why are you smiling like that?
