( Yuuki's POV )

Once again I teleported to a different world but Matsu's space materia worked as intended and Tsukiumi, Haruhime and the faithful guardian of our family Sif also came with me, but unlike the last time instead of appearing in a city we were in the middle of nowhere, In front of us there was a dirt road so I guess we can reach a village or city by following it.

Yuuki: Well, we better start walking.

Haruhime: huh! Just like that? Shouldn't we find a way to return home?

Yuuki: That's what we're doing.

Tsukiumi: could you explain yourself better.

Yuuki: of course, let's talk while we walk.

While we walked on the dirt road I explained to the girls how the trip between worlds worked, although it is hard to believe this is something that could happen to anyone.

There are an infinite number of worlds and different dimensions obviously under normal circumstances you could not have contact with them but that does not mean that they are disconnected, there is an invisible barrier between them and also a distance between these worlds, that's why Matsu was creating an interdimensional map of the worlds we had visited.

To open, break or pass through the barriers between these worlds requires an enormous amount of power, so I need the help of our space station Kouten to travel between worlds, but there are also cracks in these barriers that appear over time or only in specific places, a place that naturally connects two different worlds, in these places the amount of power needed to cross between worlds is much less and I can open a portal by myself.

In addition, these fissures come in three types, a fissure that only leads from world A to world B, fissures that go from world B to world A, and a fissure that works as bridges between these worlds.

There are also even rarer places where the fissures are always open and a random person could cross it without effort, Hilda told me that sometimes when they cross to another world it affects their body and they can receive some power or their body can undergo a transformation, but those cases are incredibly rare within other rare cases, the normal thing is that they do not receive anything and they end up dying in a random ditch.

The place where we appeared could not return us to our world so the best thing we can do to keep moving until we find a fissure of the second or third type.

Waiting for the girls to locate us and come looking for us doesn't work either because we don't know how different time is passing between the two worlds, I already sent an SOS message with my phone but we could be waiting for years and only a few seconds could have passed in our other world.

Tsukiumi: Yuuki, just to be clear you don't want to go to a city just to look for more girlfriends?

Yuuki: ok maybe it doesn't seem like it due to the results of my last trips, but my intention is never to look for more girlfriends, not that I regret having met Emilia and Haruhime at all.

Yuuki: this is all about the call of adventure.

After explaining to the girls about how to cross between worlds we had walked for half an hour and we didn't see any city in sight nor did I feel any fissures so we started running at high speed and within seconds we could see a medieval-style city in the distance.

In this world only two of my seals were active which means the power level was relatively high and the technology level not so much, maybe this is a fantasy world similar to Haruhime's, I hope that if last time I didn't have the type to study magic in her world I hope to have the opportunity here.

The city where we arrived was surrounded by a medium-sized wall with two entrances and two guys with armor and spears standing guard, as Sif's size could cause a ruckus she was left waiting on the outskirts of town.

The guards didn't give us a second glance as we entered the city and once inside we drew a few glances but not because Haruhime was a kitsune but because the two of them were beautiful.

Haruhime: What are we going to do now Yuuki?

This time I was preparing, since the last time when I met Haruhime I began to carry a bag with jewels and gold and silver coins, which is something that will always be valuable in many worlds, probably.

After telling the girls my plan I heard something with my heightened senses so I immediately made a sharp turn and headed for the source of the sound.

Tsukiumi: humn there he goes again.

Although Tsukiumi sounded somewhat annoyed she followed me and did nothing to try and stop me.

??: That's right, one coin for the crystal antlers but you see here, this is damaged so I'll give you a silver coin.

In an alleyway a pair of thugs armed with knives and swords holding a crystal antler were in the middle of a dubious transaction with some pretty silver-haired twin girls, one with long hair and one with short hair.

???: Just for that little scratch you want to lower the price to a silver coin grr... Forget it if you don't want to pay then return it!

The thugs refused to pay for the damaged item and the twins wanted to end the transaction but the thugs had other ideas, they tossed a silver coin and pointed their weapons at the girls.

Thug 1: I'm sorry but I already paid for this so I'm not going to return it.

Having seen enough I took a step forward and every step I took was short but it struck fear into the hearts of the bullies even though i was my usual calm self i was using my powers to create pressure on them.

Yuuki: forcing these young ladies to accept reduced payment, that's coercion right there.

The thugs turned their heads with difficulty to look at me but before they could speak I stopped time in the alley and in what seemed like a second for the twins I knocked out the thugs, I froze their hands behind their backs and retrieved the crystal antler.

I tried to return the crystal antler but when I approached the twins they were completely stunned, I tried to smile friendly but it seems that I went a bit too far with my show of power.
