Reincarnated in Banshee Town

Chapter 34: Nola Longshadow

A few days later, the lake undulated.
Ethan swam to the edge of the small pier, pushed hard with his hands, and jumped out of the lake splashing water.
The night wind blew, putting goose bumps on him, and Ethan quickly picked up the towel lying on the small dock to dry the water droplets off his body.
With the last ray of light before night fell, he changed his clothes and drove to Davis Bar. After a period of rest, Sugar was discharged from the hospital and Davis Bar began normal activities.
Brock also started working normally and Ethan had a weird break, it seemed like Banshee was really cursed.
It would be more comfortable if there were no FBI agent, Dean Xavier, watching his work day and night.
As soon as he arrived at the bar, he saw several drunk men laughing and gathered around a young woman who was dismounting her motorcycle, a tanned skin that shines under the yellow light of the Bar, dark eyes and high cheekbones that accentuate its natural beauty. Her long, straight black hair cascades down her back, gently waving in the breeze, the motorcycle, with its sturdy black frame and chrome details, is a perfect complement to the elegant and safe figure of women.
This kind of situation happens from time to time outside the bar and Ethan is already used to it.
He parked the car, took his gun and his badge, and placed them around his waist, maybe he had to intercede and save her.
The next moment, the driver took off her helmet gracefully. Without warning, he raised his arms tightly and hit him in the face. The man in front of the motorcycle suffered a nosebleed immediately; she screamed in pain and fell to the ground.
With surprising agility, he leaned to one side to dodge a blow to his face and, in a calculated motion, executed a series of precise movements that brought down the remaining two people.
The guy with the nosebleed got up angry, put his hand on his lower back, and a dagger appeared on his hand.
  —Fuck you, bitch.
—Hey, are you sure you want to do this?
Seeing that the situation was about to get worse, Ethan drove down to get closer to them, pulled out his police badge, and quickly approached.
 — Damn.!
Seeing the police badge on Ethan's body, the man in front covered his nose and secretly cursed, and the woman also stopped doing what she was doing.
  — Is Miss okay?
Ethan held his waist with one hand, tapped the body of the gun with his fingers, and asked casually.
—No, I'm so sorry. We were just chatting, right? —quickly covered his nose and shook his head, then looked at the young woman.
The motorcyclist scoffed and lowered the helmet.
  —Officer Morgan, we're leaving now.
—Wait a minute, I'll stay with you daga, you'll be hurt.
After they left in a hurry, Ethan stepped forward to pick up the dagger the man left on the ground.
The blade appears extremely sharp and the handle is wrapped with a green rope.
—You are a knife chair. Surely that drunk should be coping at this time.
A cold voice broke the silence. Ethan got up, wielding a knife, and turned to face the source of the sound. There, the elegant and enigmatic woman, with long legs and a slender body, was straddling the motorcycle. Her calm and confident smile contrasted with the tension of the moment.
She put her smile aside, leaned her head back, shook her long black hair that had become messy due to the fight, and exposed her white collar to the black leather jacket.
Ethan was about to greet her, but the driver put on her helmet, nodded at her, started the motorcycle, and walked away.
  —It's so sexy.
Ethan +recognized who this girl was. After thinking about it for a moment, he saw that no one was around, so he threw the knife in his hand into space and entered the bar.
Dismiss of a closure period, Davis Bar ha again to be like before.
Lonely people here seek alcohol anesthesia, and lonely people seek a night of comfort here.
After taking a few sips from the glass of wine that Sugar gave him, Job appeared out of nowhere and sat next to him.
  —We are in trouble.
  — What day do we have no problems? —Ethan put his finger around the edge of the cup.
—This time the problem is more problematic.
After Job said something complicated, he threw the small umbrella out of his glass, with a look of disgust, raised his middle finger towards Sugar and drank his drink.
  Sugar came up and said:
  — What happened this time?
—It's something you and Hood did. Why can't they be without getting into trouble for once in their lives?
  — Remember you told me they found some unknown corpses in the woods outside the city a few days ago
—Yes, tell me they are not what I am thinking.
Ethan looked at Sugar, who was frozen.
—Shet, can it be them? —Sugar didn't look at anyone around him and yelled quietly.
  Ethan sighed helplessly:
  — What's going on? I don't understand what you're talking about at all.
—Hood went to the police station today and saw the report. The bodies he found after receiving the report a few days ago are the bodies of Lucas Hood, Charles Randall, and Dermot Munson, who died in a fight at this bar.
  Job myró a Sugar:
—It was Hood and Sugar who buried them there, but the very idiots didn't take the time to dig the hole much deeper, now we have to go to the county office medical examiner's office tonight to steal Lucas Hood's body.
—Although the efficiency of working in small places is very slow, it is possible to find Lucas Hood at the autopsy table at this time, so we have to take action tonight.
When Job said this, he raised his middle finger back to sugar, while Ethan just thinking about the rotting corpses in the well two days ago suddenly felt a pain in his balls and raised his middle finger without hesitation.

Sugar smiled, scratched his head, and quickly refilled the glasses.
When it was late at night, the last customer left the Davis Bar.
Ethan followed Job and Sugar had the back part of the bar. There was a black Toyota self parked here that looked alone between 70% y 80% snow.
Job threw away the key and said:
—This is the car I found today. The license plate numbers are all false. No problem using it.
Sugar took the key and was about to walk to the driver's seat, but Ethan quickly stopped him.
—Let me drive it, I'm more familiar with it.
Sugar didn't mind, he lowered the hood, opened the door, and sat in the back seat.
Driving near the county office forensic office, Ethan found a corner to park. At that moment, he was calm outside and there was nobody on the street.
Ethan hit the wheel, turned around and asked:
  — What is the plan?
Job opened the package at his feet and took out an ID card, hood, and large bag that he had prepared in advance.
—There are no guards in this poor place. I've already taken care of the access control system. All I have to do is go in and find Lucas Hood's body and then fight to get out.
Then Job looked at Sugar again:
—You are here to provide support. Ethan and I will enter. By the way, what body are we going to steal?
—You have a large hole in your stomach and right hand. You will recognize it when you see it.
Sugar remembered Lucas Hood's stomach wound. The fatal, the horrible wound of a point-blank shot.
With everything ready, Ethan and Job quickly jumped out of the cabin and ran quickly to the morgue door.
This was the first time Ethan had done something so sneaky, and his heartbeat accelerated inexplicably.
Job skillfully scanned access control with his ID card. A beep was heard, and the indicator light turned green.
—The door handle —Job opened the door to open it and gestured for Ethan to enter.
Ethan shook his head and leaned inward.
After Job closed the door, the two entered in silence.
Ethan followed the direction of his memory and quickly led Job to the morgue.
The morgue seemed particularly empty. There was an operating table in the middle. There were several cutting tools on the tray next to the operating table, they glowed coldly under the light, the lights here seemed extremely terrifying.
Looking at the row of stainless steel morgues in front of them, the two sighed together, then frowned and began searching both sides.
Ethan opened a cabinet door, a gust of cold air came out. Then he took the drawer out of the body, pushed it back, and closed the cabinet door.
  —This is too cool.
Soon after, Ethan's pants pocket vibrated and he quickly pulled out his cell phone.
  — Someone is coming!
This was a message from Sugar. Ethan's heartbeat suddenly accelerated and Job also approached.
  — What's up?
—Sugar said someone is coming —Ethan whispered.
  Job also panicked.
  —Damn, hide fast.
The two quickly looked around the room, but in the huge morgue, apart from a large row of cabinets, there was only one console and some chairs.
Ethan suddenly thought of something, looked at Job and pointed the morgue helplessly.
—Fuck you, I'm not going to go in there.
Job crossed his hands and shook his head violently, expressing strong rejection.
Ethan had already heard the steps and didn't care. He opened the door of a closet at random, and put Job inside who was resisting.
Then he opened a cabinet door next to him. Fortunately, the interior was empty.
The steps got closer and closer. Ethan quickly entered and gently closed the cabinet door, leaving a space carefully.
As soon as he adjusted his posture, Ethan suddenly shuddered, it was too cold.
The moment he had just hidden, messy footsteps sounded.
Ethan held his breath and listened carefully. In addition to the sound of men's leather walking shoes, the sound of women's high heels was also heard.
Soon, the morgue was filled with the sound of a woman's delicate laughter and a man's agitated breathing.
Immediately afterward, the console used to dissect the body began to scrape the ground from side to side.
Ethan resisted the coldness and silently raised his middle finger in his mind.
After holding on for more than 20 minutes, the movement outside stopped and the messy steps gradually faded. After waiting a few more seconds, Ethan carefully pushed through the space and saw that no one was in the morgue.
When he left the morgue, he was so cold that he couldn't help but jump to his feet.
The fierce man of today really should be lucky to be a quick shooter, otherwise Ethan doubted he had jumped out of the cold to kill and silence him.
He found Job's position a moment ago, quickly opened the cabinet door, and removed the drawer from the body.
Job was lying on him, his mouth trembling from the cold. After spitting out a puff of white mist, he raised the arm of the see next to him and suddenly a large hole appeared in the palm of his hand.
  —What luck.
—You can never mention this matter or I will kill you —they both said in unison, and then they froze at the same time.
  Ethan chuckled and raised Job.
The two men wrapped Lucas Hood's body in a black bag.
  —You carry it.
—Fuck you, why me? It was not enough to be over half an hour — said Job, suddenly anxious.
Seeing that Job was really anxious, Ethan had no choice but to lift the corpse with all his might.
After confirming that the body was completely contained in the bag, they put on the cap and headed for the door.
When Job was about to leave, something suddenly crashed behind him.
This was a surprise for Ethan. The morgue at the county coroner's office is very old.
Job quickly ran and closed the door, but the sound still elicited an echo.
Ethan quickly gestured for the two of them to remain calm, then listened carefully to the movement outside.
It did not move for a long time. Just as he was about to take the body away, someone outside touched the door frame with a loud noise.
Job and Ethan instantly hid and turned off the lamp in the room.
Then he heard the creaking of the exterior doors, the creaking of the steps on the ground, and the sound of breathing.
Hearing the rough breathing, Ethan realized that the person outside was probably not about to leave.
In this situation, they may have already been exposed.
Ethan tapped Job's shoulder and whispered in his ear:
—Wait for it to get a little closer, then take the opportunity to take it down.
Job nodded. He held the scalpel that he had put in his sleeve when he arrived, took a deep breath and prepared himself.
The sound of the steps was getting closer and closer.
Soon, the figure appeared at the morgue door.
When the stranger entered the room, Ethan quickly jumped up and grabbed the stranger's neck. Then Job took out the scalpel and nailed it to the stranger's throat.
He strange cayó in a puddle of blood.
Hearing the sound, the two quickly removed Lucas Hood's body and ran out of the building.
Sugar, who was anxiously waiting, saw Ethan and Job running out the door. He quickly got out of the car and opened the trunk.
After Ethan put the body in the car and they quickly left the scene.
—Damn, it really sucks —Sugar quickly lowered the window to let in fresh air. — Good that they were not discovered, where they hid.
—Shut up, don't talk, don't ask —said Job, irritated. He handed Ethan a cigarette, who was driving, and the two of them took a long drag together.
Sugar saw the expressions of the two people in front of him and immediately shut his mouth obediently.
Upon returning to Banshee, Ethan found a vacant lot along the lake, not far from his home, and stopped.
Generally, no hunter will hunt near private land to avoid conflicts with the owners, and the bodies buried here will no longer be unearthed by dogs like the previous time.
He took two shovels out of the trunk, threw one of them at Job, then nailed the shovel hard to the ground, stepped on it with his foot, and began to dig hard.
Not long after, there was a deep hole in the ground. After Job threw the shovel, he grabbed Ethan's hand and climbed up.
—Hey, you can't keep looking, just throw the body —Job said, panting. Then he said to Sugar:
  — Can you move faster?
Sugar walked slowly towards the trunk of the car.
—Please, I was shot recently, let me go easy
Job left the shovel in his hand and stepped forward.
—If you and Hood, two idiots weren't so lazy, and had dug deep enough, burying him only once would be enough.
Seeing the two of them fighting, Ethan reluctantly went to the car to find a small can of gasoline.
After the two of them put the body in the hole, Ethan unscrewed the lid and put gasoline on it. Then he walked to the side, picked up a dead branch, lit it with a lighter, and threw it into the hole.
When the dead branches fell, flames instantly burst into the well.
All three smoked a cigarette silently under the firelight before filling the ground.
  — What do we do with the car? —Ethan asked after flattening the ground.
—I'll take care of it —Job said, taking the key.
  — What about us? —Sugar pointed to the smelly clothes on her body.
—It is none of my business.
—Job, I have a better idea.
  —Speak
  — We go to Savoy Gentlemen's Club later, Hood and Sugar will pay the bill.
  — Are there strippers?
—Ha, that would be good to relax.
  —Then it is fixed.
—Fuck you, I'm a poor man. Why don't you put it on Hood's account?
Amid the noise of several people, the car left the place and the vacant lot by the lake returned to its former tranquility.
  — I'm leaving here!
