Chapter 190: Important People
"I am Viel…", he said as he elegantly placed the napkin on the table, "Generous Lord of Xingcai City, the breaker of chains, savior of the Drifter children"
"!!!"
As soon as Diao Mei and the others heard this, they almost choked to death. Even Yinji, who seemed to have no care for the Captain, could not help but slightly control her breath.
Sofia was the only one who didn't have a surprised expression, as she too, stood up. Since Viel introduced himself, then she too, should do the same. "Sofia, eldest daughter of King Leon"
"Yinji", seeing as Sofia also introduced herself, it would be rude for her not to do the same, and so, Yinji also stood up, "Matriarch of the Nine Golden Pavilion"
Captain Redbeard could not help but slightly step back as he took a nervous gulp. He remembered the letter that Princess Jin-ri sent her, saying that there were VIPs that would be coming on board and they provided them with first class tickets.
But what the Princess failed to mention was how important the passengers were. He looked at the westerner that was wearing spectacles. The eldest daughter of a King? King of what country? Doesn't that mean that she is a Princess herself?
And the golden-haired kid is a Lord of a city? But most important of all, was the woman named Yinji. Matriarch of the richest sect in all of Choryu?
Not to mention General Diao's daughter and granddaughter was here as well. Once again, Captain Redbeard could not help but gulp as he once again bowed his head, "T… thank you for protecting the ship"
Seeing their Captain bowing again, the rest of the crew followed him as they all turned their heads down.
"Please, if there is anything I can do for you, do not be afraid to ask", Captain Redbeard said in a dignified tone as he raised his head.
Hearing the Captain's words, a smirk quickly formed on Viel's face, "Then… please pay for our meal"
"...No problem", the Captain was a little stunned at first from the blunt request, but since he did say to ask him for anything, he just nodded his head.
"Nice!", Viel said as he rolled a fist. He was used to this kind of thing back when they were still in Sofia's world. One would just miss out on the possible rewards if one does not take credit for his work. Viel then raised his thumbs towards Diao Chan, who was the one who was previously supposed to pay for the meal.
Diao Chan did not know whether to smile or to sigh, but one thing she does know is that Viel will certainly grow up to be a fine young man.
"If there is anything else, you may find me in the quarterdeck", Captain Redbeard slightly nodded his head.
"...Can I drive the ship?", Viel said before the Captain could even utter any more words.
"This…"
"He's just kidding, just kidding", Diao Chan stood up as she lightly clapped her hand.
"O of course", Captain Redbeard could only clear his throat awkwardly as he did not expect for Viel to suddenly request something like that. He then looked at Diao Chan with a curious expression, "How is your father, by the way?", he asked.
"The last time I saw him was years ago when he embarked to the Western Continents", Captain Redbeard said as he stroked his beard, "Are you coming to visit him? He hasn't returned yet, right?"
"This…", Diao Chan's eyebrows instantly furrowed her eyebrows with the mention of her father. She then sighed as she proceeded to tell the story of what happened to General Diao, how they were trapped in a city walled by 3 portals.
"That's terrible", Captain Redbeard could only shake his head as he wiped the sauce from his face. He also started eating at the table while Diao Chan was telling him the story. Seeing as he was the one paying for it, he might as well eat and order some more.
"I have friends that could take you to the city where Diao Gang is", Captain Redbeard said as he stood up, "When we dock, I would introduce you to them"
"T… thank you!", Diao Chan once again bowed. Hearing the Captain's words, Diao Mei also stood up and offered her thanks.
"I shall take my leave, then", Captain Redbeard waved his hand, "I still have a ship to steer, after all", he said as he let out a burst of laughter. Before exiting the restaurant, he approached the head waitress and told her that anything the group orders from now on would be put in his tab.
Of course, this did not escape Viel's ears. He imagined all the free dessert he could eat later once he was alone. It really was the right choice to introduce himself, he thought as he started giggling menacingly.
Captain Redbeard could not help but feel his spine crawl for some reason. But alas, it would not be until they dock that he would see the colossal bill that awaited him.
Lu Xun, who had been quiet the whole time, could not feel that he was left out throughout the whole conversation. He also wanted to introduce himself, but alas, it was already too late.

A loud gasp echoed throughout a dark hall. Followed by the sound of water being violently thrown and smashing onto a flesh.
The woman that was suddenly covered in water could not help but cough vehemently as some of the dirty water entered her nose. The dirt that was wrapping her head slowly trailed down like mud, revealing the luscious silver color of her hair.
"Are you ready to repent on your crimes, you filthy sinner!?", a bald man shouted as he smashed the pail he was holding on the woman's head.
The woman seemed to be unfazed as she just looked at the bald man straight in the eye and whispered quietly, "... I will kill all of you"
Hearing the woman's whispers, the bald man could not help but click his tongue as he retrieved the whip adorned with thorns hanging from his waist. And without even any warning, he struck the silver-haired woman on the leg.
And once again, the woman had no change in emotions, the wound on her leg caused by the whip quickly healing in just a matter of seconds.
"Heinous! Truly heinous!", the bald man shook his head, "Even with your powers sealed, you heal instantly! Is this the power you got from the Devil!?"
"Is this the power you got from the Devil!? It was a good thing we disposed of the Devil's offspring!"
Before the bald man could finish what he was going to say, the silver-haired woman ripped the chains that were wrapped around her arms.
"!!!"
The bald man quickly backed away in panic as he slightly screamed, "D… don't do this!", the bald man shivered, "I… I am still your father!"
The silver-haired woman's eyes started to turn red as she stared at her father, "I will... kill all of you", she whispered. Tears started to drop from her eyes, however, she did not do anything else as she retreated to the corner of the cell and sat down.
"All of you… will die"
