Mixed Martial Arts
'I've been wondering, for a while now. But I'm still unsure if what I'm thinking is true' Alex thought as he stared at the forest passing by as the Porsche sped through the asphalt road.
'It's muted, but it's there. Alice are you my...' Alex thought for a moment but removed the thought from his head the next second.
'I can think about that after I make sure that James doesn't fuck around. If something changes then Bella and even Renee could be in danger.' Alex thought as he remembered the plot.
"Oh right, Edward will be taking Bella to have dinner at us tonight, do you want to join?" Alice said as she turned to face Alex.
Turning around, Alex shook his head.
"No, I'm planning to go and check something out in Port Angels later tonight," Alex said, his words seemed to dampen Alice's mood a little though she quickly recovered.
"Alright, just be careful ok?" Alice said as she drove into Forks downtown.
Downtown Forks as always was quiet unlike other cities, there were restaurants that were open around and some coffee shops but nothing else was really going on.
"Do you want to go into a restaurant?" Alice asked as she drove slowly through the streets.
Alex shook his head and said to Alice.
"No, let's just drive around like this. It's nice" Alex said as he turned to flash a soft smile at Alice.
"All right" Alice replied with a matching soft smile.
They put some music on and drove through the town slowly, enjoying the atmosphere between each other.
An hour passed like that, Staying in each other's company.
Not many words were said but it felt like a great time to Alex, something that he didn't think he would ever forget.
"Do you want me to send you back home since you said you were going to Port Angels? Or I can send you there directly." Alice asked Alex who was fiddling with his phone.
Making a humming sound, Alex nodded his head.
"Just send me straight to Port Angels if you don't mind," Alex said as he closed his flip phone.
"Sure"
Driving out of town, Alice started speeding as she and Alex headed to Port Angels.
"I think we should slow down, don't really want the police to catch us and say to Charlie," Alex said to Alice.
"Hmm, but I don't think they can catch us," Alice said in return.
*Sigh*
"They just need the license plate, Alice, they don't need to catch you with their cars," Alex said as he released a soft sigh.
"I don't think they can catch our license plate either Alex" Alice said as she floored the gas pedal.
Alex faced her as a bead of sweat rolled down his forehead.
"I know we won't get hurt but god damn slow down, I don't want to be involved in a car crash," Alex said but Alice simply giggled and kept her foot on the pedal.
The Porsche didn't stop, its speed increasing until it reached 186 miles per hour ( 300 km/h ).
Alex just stood seated in the car whilst he waited for the eventual crash.
'God damn, I know I won't get hurt but still.' Alex thought inwardly but the grin on his face didn't match his thoughts.
He felt excited, adrenaline was flowing through his veins as he heard the sound of the engine reaching close to its limits.
Alice, whilst going at that speed turned around and faced Alex with a smile.
"You're telling me to slow down but what with that grin on your face Alex?" Alice said as she giggled.
"What do you mean the grin on my face, look at the road damn it," Alex said as he saw the car getting dangerously close to going off-road.
"Sure, sure but I know you're enjoying it just as much as me if not more," Alice said as she turned to face the road.
The drive to Port Angels was quick, thankfully it seemed like no police patrols had been dispatched to this part of the road today.
Slowing down, Alice started heading into Port Angels.
"So where do you want me to send you?" Alice asked as she moved through the city.
"Just send me to the plaza, then you can go back. I'll come back on foot." Alex said to Alice who maneuvered the Porsche through the roads which were tightly packed with cars.
Finally, a few minutes later, Alice stopped the car and opened the lock on the doors.
"We're here," She said and turned to face Alex.
"Thanks, Alice," Alex said as he turned to face her as well.
"I'll get going now, see you later!"
"Sure, see you, Alex," Alice said as she watched Alex nod and get outside the car.
Waving at her from the outside, Alex closed the door and turned around heading into the plaza.
Soon the rumble of the Porsche was heard again as it drove away.
"Alright, I saw that there was a mixed martial arts gym around here last time," Alex mumbled as he started walking towards his destination.
As he walked, it finally appeared in his vision.
An old gym that looked well-maintained from the outside but it also clearly showed its old age.
Even from afar, Alex could hear the students inside fighting and training against each other.
'With my memorization and the fact that I'm basically way above normal human limits, I should be able to learn martial arts quite quickly.' Alex thought as he walked.
'At first, I thought of getting a katana or something similar but it's simply unusable. It wouldn't be able to handle my full force and would just be a limiter on my power instead of making me more deadly' Alex thought as he remembered his dreams of being a katana-wielding vampire.
*Sigh*
'They were shattered so quickly' Alex thought as he thought back to the time he had used a kitchen knife and found its blade broken like glass when he hit a boulder.
