Reincarnated as an Evil Harem God

Chapter 92: Return of the Hero. With Harem Attached

As the portal light faded, the heavy thud of boots echoed beside Sylvaris.

"My liege," Darian said, stepping forward and dropping to one knee with surprising grace for a man his size. "The Hero has returned safely, just as promised." His voice was firm. Loyal. But Sylvaris caught the faintest hint of pride behind it — as if he were handing over a rare weapon he'd spent years sharpening. Darian rose without another word and stepped aside, letting Sylvaris face the royal welcome head-on.

"Sylvaris! My boy! There you are!" The king's loud, oily voice boomed out across the platform, his arms spread wide in theatrical welcome. "I was so worried about you! You disappeared without telling anyone! And look at you now—clearly you weren't just lying low, eh? Surrounded by such beauties… haha! A true man, I see!"

His laughter grated like a dull knife dragged against Sylvaris's nerves. Loud. Shameless. He hated it. Hated the sound. Hated the man.

But… having a fool like this on the throne made things easier. An idiot who'd carry out his whims without question? Convenient. And the cherry on top?

He brought both of his beautiful daughters with him.

Alveria — Sylvaris's supposed fiancée — stood to the king's left. She gave Sylvaris a smile laced with poison, her eyes narrowing just slightly as they slid over the women standing at his side. "Who are they?" her gaze asked. But she said nothing.

Then there was Selphira — the eldest princess.

She didn't speak either. Her face was a mask of imperial indifference. Her posture straight, proud, untouchable. But Sylvaris could feel her heartbeat from across the platform. It wasn't calm.

Oh? Is she jealous as well? Sylvaris grinned widely.

Selphira kept her expression flawless. Not even a flicker of emotion crossed her lips. But deep down, her tsundere little heart was flaring with heat — that wild pulse of frustration, want, and denial twisting inside her.

She couldn't fool him. And she definitely couldn't fool the Harem God System.

When Sylvaris turned his eyes toward the two princesses, the truth hit him harder than expected.

Above Alveria's head floated two cold, blue system windows:

[Possibility of Next Harem Member: 1%]

[Love Meter: Cannot be determined — target neither likes nor hates the user]

Hah… I knew it. She's just playing the part. Just trying to marry me for status. Fine. Let's see how long that mask holds once I'm inside her. Let's see how loud she screams when I ruin her royal pride.

Then his gaze flicked to Selphira. The moment he locked eyes with her, something else flared.

[Possibility of Next Harem Member: 69%]

[Love Meter: Undefined — Emotional instability detected]

[Estimated Affection: 200% Love | 300% Hate]

[Note: Target exhibits extreme emotional fluctuations. Most likely lying to herself about her true feelings for the user]

...Shit.

Now that... that was unexpected.

"Sorry to keep you waiting," Sylvaris said coolly, brushing dust from his shoulder. "I ran into a few problems... and an unexpected 'fake departure.' I trust Your Majesty will have someone investigate who was behind the attack. I'm dying to know."

He turned his gaze toward the two princesses, studying them, casually, curiously. Neither flinched.

Hmph. Cold as ever.

But something about the way Selphira stood — a little too perfect, a little too calm — made the hair on his neck rise.

He wasn't sure why. She's always like this, he reminded himself. Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

"Darling," Alveria chimed in with practiced sweetness, her voice smooth like silk dipped in poison. "Who are those women standing beside you?"

Sylvaris barely held back an eye roll. As if you care. You're just pissed I'm not falling for your pretty little cage.

"Now, now, my sweet pumpkin," the king interrupted, chuckling awkwardly. "No need to get jealous of your fiancé. He's a man, after all! And none of you are married yet, right?"

He threw a look at Sylvaris — the kind that said: "You're on your own now."

Sylvaris sighed inwardly. I really just wanted a quiet return. Instead, it's headache central. And from the look on their faces… the girls are about to interrogate me like I've hidden an entire secret family.

"No, not yet," Sylvaris replied.

He could feel their stares. Lilith. Liraeth. Faylira. Miren.

Each one of them was thinking it, wondering if there were even more women waiting in the shadows. And they weren't wrong. He did, in fact, have a wife already. One who liked to stalk him from the sky.

High above, beyond the veil of the mortal world, two divine beings watched the scene unfold.

One with long crimson hair stood barefoot on her perfect floor, biting her nails as her gaze burned holes into the image of Sylvaris below.

It was her. His first lover: Seraphina. Goddess of Life. Her power radiated through the heavens — and so did her frustration.

Beside her, lounging sideways on a throne of starlight, was a woman with wicked curves and endless smirks:

Nyxeria. Goddess of Mischief. The one who had given Sylvaris the Harem God System — and enjoyed every moment of watching the chaos unfold.

"Sister," Nyxeria purred lazily, legs kicking in the air. "Just wait until he gets stronger. Then you'll get your divine cock again. Be patient. You're immortal, remember?"

She giggled behind a glass of celestial wine. "Twenty years is nothing. He's going to be a god one day — I can feel it. That wicked look in his eye? Mmm. Perfect. He'll rule universes."

"You shut up!" Seraphina snapped, cheeks burning."You're the reason I'm like this! You let him sleep with me — knowing damn well that gods love only once in their lives!"

She turned away, fists clenched, breath shaky. "Now I'm stuck here, watching him from above like a deranged voyeur..." She trailed off. Memories of that one night — when Sylvaris, still known as Ryan, had claimed her — flooded her chest with heat and longing.

She had considered stripping her divinity, descending to the mortal world just to be with him again. But if she did… He would die. And she couldn't bear that.
