Reincarnate and Become a Noble Wizard

Chapter 30: First Conflict

"Ohhhh" then fell silent again and did not stand up, following James' orders.

"You...." was annoyed to see Glen who still ignored him.

"Okay, stop, you're so noisy like a girl." Glen then looked at James and said again, knowing that if he didn't act then James would continue to bother him.

"I want to ask, is this school yours?" Glen asked James.

"No... this belongs to the kingdom," answered James

"Then are you a royal member?" Glen asked again.

"No, but I'm royalty!!!" James said proudly.

"Oh...then you are nothing, so why should I follow your orders??" Glen said again.

"Ok...ok...how dare you...not obey me..." James became increasingly angry, he felt that Glen was playing with him.

Feeling that he couldn't do anything more about Glen, James then moved away and in annoyance just stared at Glen.

He, who was a noble descendant of a Viscount, always got what he wanted in his house.

And now when he is at school, he also does the same things he does at home, the difference is that when he does this he still doesn't fully get what he wants with his noble status.

Feeling devastated and also unhappy, he then saw Glen who was just sitting there alone, and for some reason he felt that this was a good opportunity to bully him.

But what he didn't realize was that it turned out that Glen was too tough for him to be able to intimidate him, especially according to school regulations, those who fight will be subject to sanctions both individually and as a faculty.

So he didn't dare to do that, because even though he was arrogant, he also knew to what extent he could do it.

Not long after that, one by one, students from the two faculties began to arrive and they began to fill the existing classes.

On the other hand, Glen also followed them into the classroom, and not long after it was class time.

And the magic history professor arrived. A middle-aged man with a fat posture and a kind face walked into the classroom.

After entering, he silently looked at the entire class, as if he was counting the students in it, and not long after, he smiled as he made sure that no one was late for class.

"Let me introduce myself, my name is Professor Paul Bright and I will teach you the history of magic."

The professor introduced himself, and soon class began.

This time the students were asked to read the history of magic from the books they brought.

And Glen, who had seen almost the entire contents of the book, felt bored and simply refused to return the book.

"Glen, have you read it?" Adam asked beside him in a whisper

"Almost...only a few more pages left," replied Glen boredly.

The class now seems very quiet and the only sound you can hear is busy turning the pages of a book.

And because of that their chatter was only a whisper.

Until it didn't feel like class time was coming to an end and Glenn, along with the others, could now happily leave the classroom.

"Good... you are very good, read and memorize the contents of the book. If there is anything you don't understand or want to ask, ask during the next lecture session," Professor Paul said, closing the lecture.

He felt very happy because the class seemed very quiet, this only showed that they had a good reading interest in the history of magic.

(Even though in his heart he only felt, that since there were books and notes that wrote down the complete history of magic so it was enough for them to read it themselves, and he as an old professor would just guide them if necessary, as for other actions he felt too lazy to did it, because he had been teaching for years and very rarely asked questions, so he was used to it, especially as he got older he felt unhappy if his class was disturbed and noisy)

What a dedicated professor.

When leaving the classroom, a loud calling sound was heard.

"Hey...you wait!!!" James' voice broke the atmosphere outside the classroom as he called and pointed at Glen.

But Glen, who didn't want to respond, James just ignored him and continued talking to Adam.

"Stop," I said!!! Then James went to block Glen and Adam's progress.

"Hey…buddy what are you doing screaming and stopping us???" Adam was unhappy with James' attitude.

"I'm not talking to you" he answered and pointed at Glen.

"Oh….what…else??" Glen asked, feeling unhappy because James kept bothering him. This time he wanted to see what James wanted to do.

"I challenge you to a duel of noble magic," said James proudly.

" What????? You didn't say anything wrong????" Adam answered immediately, thinking he heardr surprising thing.

"No, you heard that right!!" James said.

"Glen what are you going to do???" Adam asked confused and a little panicked, because he knew that a noble was doing a magical challenge against another noble.

So those nobles who were challenged had to accept this otherwise they would be underestimated by others.

But what they didn't know was that Glen didn't really understand the challenge of the duel, because he hadn't received that information.

"What challenge???" Glen asked confused.

Immediately, those in front of the class heard Glen's confused question about the noble's magic duel challenge.

Their eyes immediately widened, as if they had now discovered a big secret about Glen.

"Don't you know about the magic noble duel???" James said also in shock and then he immediately realized one thing and happily immediately pointed at Glen and said again.

"It turns out you are an inlander!!!!! Hahahah...I know you are an inappropriate person...you inlander!!!! James said proudly.

"Shut up!!!! What you said was a rude insult!!! Give sorry!!? Adam reacted very angrily when he heard James insult Glen as an inlander.

"Oh...he turned out to be from outside...

"I really didn't think...

"It's true how could he be accepted into this royal school...

" What a waste….many of them immediately said condescendingly.

(Inlander is an insult to those who come from dimensions outside the magical world or those who come from other worlds, those humans in the magical world, especially the nobles, really look down on ordinary humans and nobles from the world outside the magical world, they feel their existence is something which damaged the purity of human magic here, but that happened several decades ago, and now the term has been banned from use, especially in formal places such as schools and government offices, if caught committing insults they will be arrested and punished)

Glen, who saw quite a big reaction among many of the students, knew that the term "inlander" was definitely not a good thing and was most likely very bad.

So if he continued to remain silent and let this happen, then his future at the magic school would definitely have problems, so without saying much he immediately took action...
