Chapter 28: Greysa Hand
After leaving the magical beast area, Glen immediately realized that he had already spent enough time there, so he only had 10 minutes before the first class.
"Ahhh...only 10 minutes left..." Glen immediately
Speeding up his steps towards class, he didn't want to give a bad impression to his colleagues because he was late on the first day of school.
Just because he had memorized the route and didn't get lost in his rush to class.
"Finally arrived... there are still 2 minutes left." Entering the class, Glen saw that the road was already filled with all the new students from his water magic faculty.
"You're almost late, Glen," said Adam when he saw Glen finally arrive at the last minute
" Really….you are so careless…." A mocking voice could be heard from beside Glen's table.
Looking to the side, he was surprised to see Cathrine sitting in the row next to his seat.
He really didn't see that Catherine was actually at the table beside him, what was this arrangement??? he complained in his heart.
Not long after, a 40 year old woman who looked beautiful in a blue witch dress, entered the classroom.
From her graceful and calm way of walking, you can see at a glance that this woman has a calm and graceful personality.
"Good morning everyone and welcome back I say to all of you, congratulations on joining the faculty of water magic.
And I am Greysia Hand, your water magic professor and also the Dean of the water magic faculty.
This time, before the lesson starts, I will remind you several things, be like water that penetrates everywhere, be strong when calm and be humble even though you are in a high place.
And now let's go first and introduce yourselves," Greysa said, making a calm but quite impressive opening to her students.
Not long after, the voices of students introducing themselves began to be heard, until after a few moments the entire class had finished introducing themselves.
Greysa started giving lecture material.
"As you know, magic is an element in nature that has no form but can be formed.
It penetrates into all layers of nature, and can be obtained in a dignified manner.
Maybe at home you have learned a little about how to use magic and how to cast it.
And now in this class, you will be taught further how to make it even better.
It is important to remember that a witch is born because of nature, not because of humans, which means that not all humans can become witches, only those who are cared for and recognized by nature will inherit its will and be allowed to become witches.
Therefore, the deeper a magician's magic, the deeper his understanding of nature and his closeness to nature.
Not the other way around, because if a witch becomes evil with nature and moves away from nature, then nature will take back what she has given.
Of course, in this case they will end up as dust in nature.
And of the many magic elements that exist, 7 have been categorized as magic elements that humans can master and can learn.
The 7 elements of magic are water, fire, earth, wind, lightning, darkness and summoning.
All of which are magic elements that have their own functions and uses.
And our focus is on the water magic element, a magic element that is classified as an element of life.
Where water is a source from nature and also humans.
Because it has the element of life, the element of water magic is very sensitive to the feelings that a magician has in his heart.
For example, let's make a water ball first.
"A ball of water was formed..." a ball of water the size of a first appeared to be floating in Greysa's hand.
And this of course made the students quite surprised, because the water ball floated and did not fall and be destroyed.
It was very different from what they could do, even though they were able to create water balls but keeping them calm and motionless in the air at this time was impossible.
"How can anyone???" Greysa asked with a smile.
"Try not to think too much, magic won't come if you just sit there and don't do anything" Greysa began to realize that her students were trying out water magic.
"Water ball formed…..splash…
"Splash….
"Splash…..
"Splash...
All the new students tried to make this magic but as soon as the water ball magic appeared in their hands, they immediately fell and broke.
"Why is it so difficult????
"Yes, why can the Dean do it so easily????
"Ahhhh…I failed….
"This is... tiring... Adam said after he tried several times but failed, because his mana now seemed quite drained.
"Huuuuu…..this is tiring, really magic is not something that is easy to do….
"What do you think is magic??? Can it be easily learned???" Catherine suddenly said to Glen.
"Ohh...why are you annoyed with me Catherine..." Feeling strange, Glen then said to Catherine.
" So what??? What do I like to be???" Catherine said again.
"Ahhh..you like me??" Glen said with an expression of disbelief.
"Who...who...likes you????" Catherine became panicked and embarrassed.
"Ohhh...didn't you just say that!!!" Glen answered again with satisfaction.
Now he could calm down a little, he couldn't stand the thought of Catherine becoming increasingly noisy, especially now that to make fireball magic he had to concentrate but Catherine kept whispering beside him.
Which is clearly not something good for him.
"Okay, pay attention, here your imagination and the beliefs you have play a role, magic is the unity of soul and mind.
They can materialize if you become one, focus your mana and think of the magic ball, add faith in your heart that it will float.
After that, channel your mana slowly and don't be rude." Greysa returned to provide guidance.
The little witches who had just listened to Greysa's input tried to follow what was suggested.
But talking is easier than doing and they still keep failing.
( Focus…isn't this easy…come on Glen with your high talent this is just a piece of cake….
Don't you remember an anime protagonist who although stupid, can easily do it)
Glen began to imagine the shape of a ball of water in his hand.
Until then he convinced himself that the water ball would definitely float and would not fall and break.
And to make himself more focused, Glen then closed his eyes and made himself concentrate even more.
Slowly the magic image of the floating water ball became clear in his mind and it was like a painter painting a picture of a water ball.
He imagined the water ball floating and he tried to channel the mana within him to slowly wrap around the water magic ball.
Until then the water ball he had imagined was completely wrapped in his mana and magically floated freely.
What Glen didn't know was that when he focused himself, the water ball magic he had imagined actually materialized and this immediately attracted the attention of Adam who was beside him.
" Extraordinary!!!!!!!! Adam shouted in surprise, attracting the attention of his classmates.
