Reigning Supreme in Every Reality

Chapter 122: 121: The heart is like a bright mirror, the sword cuts through the dust

"Outsider, you carry endless sins. Kneel now and accept our judgment!" declared the tallest of the Celestials.

"With just you lot?"

Lyon sneered coldly, and his body suddenly began to expand infinitely, surpassing 12 light-years in an instant.

He stood within the universe, as vast as an entire galaxy, and every movement he made carried enough power to shatter the void itself.

With a single grasp, Lyon crushed the Celestials. Endless energy surged, laws erupted wildly, and the Celestials were obliterated entirely.

However, just as the Celestials fell, another group of four abstract entities arrived on the battlefield…

Lyon rose to fight once again.

No one knew how many years had passed.

Lyon traversed one world after another, destroying countless gods who claimed to uphold the order of the universe.

He had once devoured an entire universe.

He had faced off against every so-called superhero.

Through endless battles, Lyon grew stronger and stronger, fighting relentlessly.

But eventually, he grew tired.

Exhausted, he sat on Earth in some unknown universe, gazing at the countless stars dancing across the sky.

Amid the endless struggle, he finally felt the weight of it all.

Lyon had already broken through to the level of a God King, wielding power surpassing the multiversal scale.

Behind him lay mountains of bones, enough to fill an entire universe.

Yet wherever he went, he was always met with attacks from the so-called protectors of order.

It was as if the vast Marvel multiverse no longer had a place for him to exist.

Suddenly, thunder rumbled through space.

Countless stars surrounding Lyon exploded one after another.

"Enough!" A colossal voice pierced through the crystal walls of the universe.

Lyon's head snapped toward the edge of the world, his expression more serious than ever before.

In his eyes, the crystal wall bent submissively, as though yielding to a higher being.

A figure, even larger than Lyon in his current form, descended.

It was a being of unfathomable majesty, possessing three faces and a humanoid form of unparalleled grandeur.

Lyon recognized the figure immediately—it was the Living Tribunal, the one responsible for maintaining balance across the entirety of the Marvel omniverse.

"Lyon Stark, the sins you have committed are more than enough, and yet you refuse to repent!"

"Now, in the name of the omniverse, I will judge you!"

The Living Tribunal descended, radiant golden light spreading through all of space. The power of judgment sealed the entire universe in an instant.

Even with Lyon's current level of power, he was completely bound in place by the force of judgment, unable to move a single inch.

"You are aware of your sins!" the Living Tribunal bellowed.

Lyon stared at the Living Tribunal and replied calmly, "I only regret that my strength is not yet enough to defeat you."

The Living Tribunal did not respond to his words, neither denying nor acknowledging them.

"The judgment begins!"

The Face of Justice spoke first: "You have slaughtered cosmic gods and disrupted the order of the multiverse, committing unforgivable sins. You should be obliterated from existence!"

The Face of Vengeance followed: "Your path began with vengeance, and so it must end with vengeance exacted by the universe itself. You shall be imprisoned for billions of years!"

The Face of Necessity added: "Your actions were born out of desperation. The original universe had no place for you, leaving you to fight back from the brink of despair. Your motivations are understandable.

However, the universes you have destroyed must be repaired. You shall serve the multiverse for eternity, restoring balance and maintaining universal order."

All three faces spoke in unison: "The judgment is passed. Your power will be stripped and used to mend the universes. You shall be imprisoned for all eternity within the multiverse, until the end of your existence!"

Throughout the judgment, Lyon's expression remained calm.

He had long accepted the possibility of his death.

The long years of slaughter had not destroyed Lyon's mind.

Instead, with every punch he threw, he questioned himself—where was this path truly leading?

He asked himself repeatedly: Did he regret reviving Tony at the very beginning?

But he could never find an answer, for his fate seemed sealed the moment he began his crusade across the multiverse.

"Do you have anything to say?"

The Living Tribunal asked before carrying out the judgment.

"Lyon Stark, let me tell you the truth. The reason Thanos crossed into your world…"

"It was not due to the energy fluctuations from the Space Stone leaking. Rather, it was because of the energy you released while training within the star that attracted him."

"Now that you understand the true cause of everything, if given another chance, would you still choose to pursue power and vengeance?"

The Living Tribunal's question echoed through Lyon's heart and soul.

It was like the very question he had asked himself countless times over the years.

Had he truly been wrong?

Was it wrong to grow stronger?

Was it a mistake to revive Tony?

Lyon looked up at the Living Tribunal's solemn, awe-inspiring faces.

Suddenly, the answer became clear.

Nonsense about everything happening because of him, nonsense about making a different choice.

If he cowered in fear and hesitated, he would become nothing more than a weakling, living under someone else's thumb.

From the moment he crossed into this world, he was destined to reject mediocrity!

Every setback, every hardship, had only one reason—he was not strong enough!

Even as he faced what seemed to be his end, Lyon's eyes shone brighter than ever before.

"I have no regrets. If I had another chance, I would only become stronger—so strong that I'd defeat even you!"

Lyon's heart had never been as firm as it was now.

Like a polished steel blade, he swore to cut down every obstacle in his path.

And anything that stood in his way...

Would either be shattered, or slashed, and slashed again!

His heart was as clear as a mirror, and his will to fight was as sharp as a blade.

At that moment, Lyon's mind ascended to another level of clarity and resolve.

As his understanding grew, the scene before him suddenly seemed unreal. It was as if everything he saw was nothing more than a poorly crafted shadow play.

"This is… an illusion? So, I've been trapped in an illusion all along! I'm still in the swallowed sky world!"

Lyon threw his head back and laughed heartily at the sky.

"A mere illusion, and you think it could make me give up on becoming stronger? This ends here!"

The Living Tribunal's massive form froze in midair.

The force that had bound Lyon inexplicably dissipated.

The entire world shattered, like a silver mirror falling to the ground, splitting into countless fragments.

Once again, Lyon found himself standing before the colossal beast-like phantom within the inheritance fortress.

"You broke through the illusion?! How is this possible!"

The phantom exclaimed in shock.

"Your mental state... it's incredibly strong!" It stared at Lyon with disbelief. "Stronger than many immortals I have encountered."

"That illusion was a combination of a master illusionist's secret techniques and the laws of time."

"I don't know what you saw, but it was certainly shaped from your subconscious, made to feel absolutely real and test your mental state in every way."

"My expectation was that you would hold out for a month, but you broke through it in a single day."

"Congratulations, you have passed the first trial!"

The phantom's attitude toward Lyon improved dramatically. "Do you need some time to recover, or would you like to proceed with the remaining two tests?"

"I would like to continue!" Lyon replied, a hint of emotion in his voice.

It felt as if the hundreds of thousands of years he had just experienced were real, a mirror of his inner weaknesses.

The combination of illusion and time laws within the trial had been so seamless that Lyon hadn't noticed anything amiss at first.

Now that he reflected on it, the experiences in the illusion were merely fragmented scenes that had jumped from one moment to the next.

The illusions of the starry sky world truly had their unique brilliance.

"I choose law comprehension!" Lyon said firmly, leaving behind everything from the illusion.
