chapter 2
2 – The wicked woman is unfair
The evil woman Sael Azbel is looking at me. There is bewilderment in her eyes. She felt sorry for herself for some reason, and she laughed in vain.
Then she spoke to her.
“⋯Why are you laughing all of a sudden? Rather, you should explain what the hell happened to the remark you just made.”
“What…? It makes me feel better when you look at me like that.”
“⋯.”
Now Sael Azbel looks at me like I’m crazy.
Of course, it wasn’t really because I was crazy that I felt good. There was a reason of its own.
The only thing I endured all kinds of bullying from her was the ignorance and cold gaze.
However, when she threw away her patience and poured out her double lust, her embarrassment was better than before.
A strange look makes me feel good. Maybe the villainess changed me strangely. Maybe because she’s the fiancé of the villainess, even I have become a villain with a strange personality.
That made me feel so miserable, so it was a ridicule that was directed at me. What the hell have I been doing all this time? I have many thoughts because all my efforts seem to have been in vain.
Looking ahead, Shael’s expression is changing in real time. Her embarrassment is gradually turning to chagrin, but ⋯. It’s all self-employed.
That’s right, you should have done well when you were good.
I put in a lot of effort. It wasn’t just that he tried to put up with her words and actions.
Think about the very difficult past. It has been six months since I became possessed in a novel. A very painful time.
If one day she opens up to me and becomes a good person, then I will not fall short. Great efforts were made for this.
In order to maintain the body as it is in the possessed state, I spent every day exhausted by exercise. Swordsmanship was the same.
A fantasy world. Despite the world of all kinds of mysterious potions, wounds roamed my body every day. It was psychologically difficult when she scolded her for such a wound.
I also learned magic. It’s only been 6 months since I became possessed, but I’ve gained the confidence that I won’t lose in a fight with anyone my age.
It is true that this body had great talent for all sorts of things. However, this was only possible because my efforts were also enormous.
That wasn’t all.
It absorbed all kinds of knowledge like a sponge. I came from a completely different world, and the journey to acquire knowledge of completely different things was very long.
Those efforts were for me to live well, but most of them were for her sake.
That made it even more bitter. The thing that scratched my heart was the words of the villainess who complained of bewilderment.
“That’s ridiculous, Eran.”
“Is that so? Me too.”
“⋯If you ask for forgiveness right now, I’ll take care of it.”
“Forgive me?”
Shael says to ask for forgiveness. Of course, I can’t do that. Rather, it is I who want to ask for forgiveness.
“Are you sure you won’t regret it?”
The meaning behind the question was simple. If I don’t ask for forgiveness right away, there will be great damage to me.
Let’s calculate the next day. Will I be in danger if I don’t ask for forgiveness? ⋯ Not at all.
More than anything, I was convinced that if I quit her here, I wouldn’t be able to change her. Trying to change her halfway could do more harm than good.
So what came out was a quick answer.
“You don’t have to look at it.”
“Ha. No more chances.”
Shael Azbel sighs. Maybe it was a sigh I let out because I thought the person I was going to bully would disappear.
She stood up straight away.
It was the sound of a chair scratching the floor as Sael stood up. Considering that it was something she didn’t normally hear, you could see how flustered she was.
This time it was the sound of my chair.
“⋯Don’t follow me.”
“Don’t follow me. This sounds disappointing to my fiancé.”
“Why are you doing this?”
“I’m worried about even a brief separation, Shael.”
Shael told me not to follow him. Still, it’s too much for me to not follow her even though she’s my fiancé. Of course, I babbled and followed her.
After leaving Sael’s large room, go upstairs. I’ve never been upstairs before. In the center of the upper floor, I could see a room larger than Sael’s.
As expected, this is the room of the Duke and Duchess of Azbel. It was the room of the head of household, Jespen, and his wife, Enella. Shael knocked on the room.

Knock-tock-!
A rather violent knock for a duke’s daughter. Seeing this, I’m sure I did a good job.
Sael is not afraid of her own parents at all. In a way, it doesn’t seem like much of a problem, but it’s not.
Good but sometimes scary parents are model parents. Otherwise, it would be difficult to correct a child who is leaking in a strange way.
Moreover, Shael is walking down an extremely strange path, the path of becoming a cruel villainess.
When Sael knocked on the door, the head of the household, Jespen Azbel, and his wife, Enella Azbel, came out.
The patriarch of the Azbel family, known for his magic, had the same hair color as Shael. It was sky blue hair. The sky blue eyes were the same.
I could tell at once that the head of the household, Enella Azbel, was Sael’s mother. The two of them looked so similar.
But why couldn’t he inherit that kind personality? While thinking about that, the duke said to Shael.
“⋯Shael? Is something happening?”
“Father! I think he’s finally gone crazy. Suddenly he curses at me!”
“Is that true, Eran Baslet?”
I didn’t listen to my daughter properly and asked me.
Aside from not scolding her daughter, it wasn’t because she unconditionally listened to Sael’s nonsense.
“No. However… I could have made a mistake with Sael, so I would be grateful if Sael could tell me what he was sad about.”
“Obviously! That’s a bitch like a dog to me!”
At Sael’s words, the Duke makes an absurd expression. Then he sighed and said.
“⋯Shael. Let’s go. Eran, I’m sorry my daughter seems so mean.”
“No, it’s okay. To Sael, this would be one of her expressions of affection.”
“Oh no!”
Then the head of the household, Enella, spoke.
“⋯Shael. It’s very embarrassing.”
“⋯.”
I don’t know if this was a scolding, but ⋯ it was Shael who heard it almost for the first time even from Enella, her mother.
Even the duke and his wife, who always say only nice things to Sael, couldn’t praise this one.
That’s right, you should have done well from the beginning. There’s something I’ve been doing all this time. Did he really think that the Duke would believe that?
With an unfair expression on her face, she headed back to her room. I too followed Sael into her room.
This time it was the sound of a chair scratching the floor. Of course, the intensity was stronger than before. I could see how angry she was.
“⋯A dog.”
As if seeking revenge, Sael glared at me and said that. Just because I’m a bitch like a dog, does that mean I’m also a bitch like a dog?
I raised my eyebrows at the wicked woman’s words.
“What makes you smile?”
Somehow, laughter comes out in funny situations. No matter how much I thought about it, it was because I thought that it was a good thing to pour her double lust on the wicked woman.
“Thank you for the compliment. We look good too.”
“Ha, what… What?”
“A bitch like a dog and a bitch like a dog. What a fitting pair.”
This time she had a liberated expression. She turned her head away as if not to talk to me. So I said.
“But, seeing that he maintains respectful words, it seems that he doesn’t hate me.”
“No, no. I don’t like it.⋯You, get out of my room right now.”
She’s the one who talks to me straight away. She somehow finds it amusing that she is bothering her.
That’s right. She only commits one-sided misdeeds, and it’s not like she’s ever had an argument.
There must have been only people around her who would turn her into a fool if she called her stupid, and turn her into a weakling if she called her weak.
I have always been like that. But not anymore. If she says she’s stupid, she’ll make her a genius, if she says she looks weak, she’ll make her strong.
Plus, it’s a lot of fun teasing her who’s never had her interactive bickering.
I feel a little guilty about her, but… Well, it’s her actions to rehabilitate her, so it’ll be fine.
Shael needs to suffer. Until she’s been hurt, she doesn’t know what she’s doing wrong.
Above all, there is something I have been through. This is part of her rehabilitative process, a bit of revenge mixed with fun.
“You’ve already said it, it seems like our relationship has grown closer.”
“⋯.”
Shael took a deep breath and fell silent. She said, this time she didn’t even glar at me, and lay down on her table.
“You’re the worst…”
“⋯Is that so?”
“Yes!”
“But what… Isn’t there a saying that we play with each other?”
“⋯.”
When I said that, she glared at me as if it were unfair.
⋯What, right? Certainly we met each other. A bitch like a dog, and a bastard like a dog.
