Adam is wondering what Jack is thinking while Jack is thinking about what Adam requested from him.

The more Jack thinks about it, the more it makes sense.

Putting all his assets under Adam's name is the best possible thing he can do, and if the worst happens, he will not get exploited.

He knows his son his right, his wife is a manipulative bitch who knows how to make things work for her, and it almost worked.

Jack is not stupid enough to let himself be a victim of manipulation, and in his world, many are out for him.

In fact, he doesn't even fully believe his own son. He thinks that Adam has alternate motives behind his actions, but Adam is also the safest bet Jack has.

Their relationship might not be great, but it is bound by blood, and if anything were to happen to him, Jack wants to ensure that only his bloodline would benefit from his hard work.

And seeing that Adam has his life under control, he won't be worried about things getting out of hand.

Jack finally opens his mouth to speak. "Fine, I will do it," Jack says. "But, only in name. I will still be in charge of everything," Jack continues.

"Works for me, I just don't want it to fall into the wrong hands," Adam says. Jack hums with a nod.

"Now that this is done, I will take my leave," Adam says, stands up, and leaves. Jack doesn't stop him.

Once Adam is out of his office, Jack calls his personal lawyer to begin the process. Jack is not someone who likes to postpone things if they can be done in the present.

Transferring his assets under Adam's name is a safety precaution he should have taken years ago, but his son didn't seem worthy of it before. But now that Adam has shown his true colors, Jack is no longer worried.

Adam walks out of his father's office with a big smile on his face.

He has succeeded in getting the thing that would put the final nail in the coffin, named Julia. With this, Julia has nothing. With this, he can finally take control of Julia and do anything he wants to her.

Now, the only concern Adam has is how to make Julia squirm under him.

Adam has been loving the games between him and her; seeing her lose her shit over the things he does to her and to the people around her brings Adam great joy, but Adam himself is not sure if he can hold on any longer.

He has everything he needs to get Julia. He could go home and take her down, and his success rate would be very high.

But Adam decides to practice caution. Sure, he can do that, but he can also wait until all the paperwork is final and his father's signature is on it.

Because after that happens, the chances of Julia escaping his clutches his zero.

'So close...' Adam thinks as it is indeed very close. His desire, his obsession, is about to be fulfilled. The person he has been obsessed with for more than half of his life is finally going to be owned by him, and just the thought and possibility of it has him more excited than he has ever been.

Julia is soon going to be his and his alone, and he is going to make sure to take out every bit of frustration he has held up over the years on her.

He is going to break her; he is going to make sure that Julia can't go a day without craving his attention.

Adam feels goosebumps crawl all over his body; he can feel his cock get harder, but he controls himself and calms down by taking a deep breath.

Adam continues to make his way out. On the way, his eyes meet Ziana, who seems to be packing up her stuff and is about to call it a day.

Ziana stops as she sees Adam walking up to her. She stops whatever she is doing and stands up straight to greet Adam.

She smiles beautifully and greets Adam. "Adam... I hope you have a good night," Ziana says.

Adam doesn't answer. Instead, he stares into her eyes intensely. "Are you calling it a day?" Adam asks.

"Yes, I am done for the day, and it's getting pretty late..." Ziana says.

Adam doesn't answer; instead, he stares intensely at Ziana, making her blush a little.

She could feel Adam's gaze on her body, making her feel a little excited. Since Adam is handsome and tall, he matches her type and wouldn't mind hooking up with him if Adam asked her.

And feeling his intense stare, she is expecting some action from Adam.

But instead, Adam just nods and walks past her. Ziana is surprised because she thought Adam would definitely hit on her.

Adam makes his way back to the parking lot and sighs. He almost asked Ziana to join him as he is very riled up from thinking about being able to own Julia.

And since Ziana's features match Julia's, there is no better replacement for Adam to blow off some steam, but Adam controls himself once again.

Ziana works for his father, and Adam is very certain that there is something going on between them.

So Adam doesn't want to risk anything. If his father finds out that Adam fucked his side chick, he might get angry and back away from their deal.

Adam is not going to take such a risk. He will wait until the papers have been signed and everything is under his name, and only then will he think of the possibility of ever entertaining Ziana.

Frustrated, Adam sits in his car and drives out. He doesn't plan on going back home. He plans to visit one of his girls to blow off some steam.

As Adam drives away from Jack's workplace and stops before a traffic signal, he sees a familiar face sitting on one of the benches of the bus stand.

'What is she still doing here?' Adam wonders as he looks at Bianca. He then checks his time and notices, not much time has passed at all.

Since his little escapade with Brandon and Bianca and his meeting with his father, only twenty-five minutes had passed.

He drives up to the bus stop and stops. Bianca, who has been waiting for her bus for quite a while now and is feeling frustrated about it, notices an expensive car pull up.

And as she notices the face of the man driving the car, she gets surprised.

"Get in," Adam says.

Bianca looks left and right and notices a few people staring at her, wondering what her relationship is with the rich young man.

Bianca gets a little nervous, squeezing the strap of her hand back that is draped over her shoulder, but she stands up anyway and approaches Adam's car.

She grabs onto the handle, pulls the door open, and sits in. This is the first time Bianca has been inside an expensive sports car.

"Thank you, sir... The bus got delayed, and I have been waiting for almost half an hour," she says, putting on her best thankful smile.

"Hmm," Adam says and starts driving again as the lights turn green.

There is silence between them for a few minutes until Adam finally speaks up.

"So, how long have you been having an affair with Brandon?" Adam asks, getting right to the point.

Bianca is not surprised by his question; she was expecting it because of what just transpired.

She presses her lips together and clenches her legs.

"I... I didn't mean to..." Bianca says.

"I didn't ask if you wanted to have an affair or not, I asked you how long it has been a thing?" Adam says, keeping his eyes on the road.

Bianca gets a little more nervous, but she decides to answer. "Over a year," Bianca says.

"Over a year, that's a very long time. Does your fiancé know?" Adam asks.

Bianca gets a little emotional, not because she feels guilty but because she feels cornered.

"No... but I.. I was going to tell him soon," Bianca.

"No, you wouldn't have. And if you believed you did, you are lying to yourself," Adam says with a smirk.

Bianca feels called out.

"I was definitely planning to. I loved Brandon; I wanted to spend my life with him. I wanted to call off my wedding and be with Brandon," Bianca says.

"But you didn't, and you know why, and I do too. Because deep down, you knew whatever you had with Brandon was not real,"

Adam's words cut like a knife, and it felt deep to Bianca because they were very true.
