Adam seems to have become the center of attention as everyone who sees him wonders who he is.

A new handsome young face is hard to ignore when you spend all day staring at a screen and talking on the phone with your clients. Even the slightest change will spark interest, and Adam's presence is more than a slight change.

Branson is in his office, seemingly lost in his own world, talking to a woman who is in very revealing office clothing. It doesn't look like just talking; it looks more like flirting. The woman is giggling and touching Brandon's shoulder flirtatiously while he has his hands on her exposed thigh, rubbing her.

Adam observed the two; he noticed a ring on the woman's finger. She clearly has a husband or at least a fiancé, but here she is flirting with her boss as no one's around to see their shenanigans.

Adam can't help but wonder why almost all women in this city are morally fucked. Even the good ones have weird fetishes. It's as if his world is created by a degenerate God.

Well, he is not one to blame anyone for doing what they want. If this woman wants to cheat on her husband or fiancé with Brandon, it's her choice. And Brandon's definitely the type of guy who women desire. He is good-looking, outgoing, charismatic, and a Playboy. He likes to use women and leave them once he is done with them, but for reasons unknown, women like men like Brandon.

If not for Adam, Brandon would have succeeded in seducing Julia as well. He knows how to get women.

This poor woman doesn't even realise that she holds no value to Brandon other than temporary sex object. Soon, he is going to throw her to the side once he is bored with her. Her husband or fiancé will find out about her affair and dump her, and in the end, she will be left all alone with no one by her side.

This city has made its people chase after things that are driven by vain beliefs. Fame, influence, money, power. Everyone wants it because this city rewards it. If you have those things, you become untouchable.

And people who don't have it suffer. Adam knows this because he has experienced it firsthand.

This woman is probably like every other woman in this city; she probably has a loving partner, but that's not enough for her. She wants more, and men like Brandon take advantage of it. He has some power, some money, so it's enough to entice a woman like her who doesn't have much. Add his good looks and charisma, and this woman stood no chance against Brandon.

As Adam thinks it through, he can't find himself to blame Brandon, as he is just using the system for what it is; men like him get to use it to their advantage. Adam is no different. The only reason he hates Brandon is that Brandon used the system against him. Brandon destroyed his life. And now it's Adam's turn to destroy Brandon's life, because the system favors Adam more this time, as Adam has also learned to use the system.

If Brandon had not fucked up Adam's life in the past, Adam would have seen him as a kindred spirit, as Adam would have taken advantage of that woman if he were in Brandon's position.

But alas, Adam hates Brandon for what he did to him, and there is no forgiving him.

As Brandon was about to reach deeper into the woman's skirt to mess with her and escape the situation, he decided to make sure no one was around to catch them in the act. He did deliberately call this woman into his office after everyone on this floor left, but it's still better to make sure no one's said for a second time, and as his eyes scan the floor outside his office, he freezes.

He sees someone looking directly at him. Brandon can never forget that face; it's the face of that punk ass kid who humiliated him. He swore to take revenge, but as he feels Adam's cold eyes on him, he shudders with fear.

'Fuck! What is this freak doing here?' Brandon questions.

"Babe, why did you stop? I am so fucking horny," the woman says, grabs Brandon's hand, and tries to guide it up her wet cunt.

But Brandon immediately pulls his hands away and stands up. "What's going on?" The woman asks.

"Shut up! Someone's here," Brandon warns her. The woman's eyes widen, and she immediately gets off his desk and turns around to see a young man looking directly at them.

At first, she is embarrassed, even a little scared, but as she looks at the handsome young man, she wonders why Brandon is acting like this. He is just a teenager. Why is Brandon acting so cautiously?

He has been much bolder and touchier with her before some of her colleagues, who know to keep their mouths shut if they don't want to get fired.

"Just chase him away, he is just some kid," the woman whispers.

"Shut your mouth, do you know who that is?" Brandon says, gritting his teeth.

"Who is he?" The woman asks.

"That's the boss's son!" Brandon's days.

Hearing this, the woman's eyes widen with shock.

"The boss has a son?" The woman asks, surprised.

"Of course he does," Brandon says.

"But isn't the boss only married for a few years, he... Looks a lot older..." The woman says.

"He is his son from his first wife," Brandon says.

"Shit! What are we going to do now? What if he tells the boss about us?" The woman asks in panic.

"You keep your mouth shut, I will talk to him," Brandon says as he walks out of his office and approaches Adam.

"Adam, is good to see you. What are you doing here?" Brandon asks with a fake smile, a smile that couldn't be faker than this. Adam can feel the hatred radiating from Brandon. This makes Adam smirk with satisfaction.

"None of your concern. I should be asking you What are you doing with this woman inside my company?" Adam asks, his time filled with authority. Even though he has nothing to do with this company, he claimed it as his because it belongs to his father. Adam can see the anger inside Brandon rising because of his claim.

Adam did it on purpose, he knew his statement would rub Brandon the wrong way as Brandon had put in a lot of effort to rise up the ranks in this company, Adam also knows that Brandon is eyeing his father's position in the future, so Adam walking in and calling this company his without putting any work into it with definitely hit Brandon's sore spots.

While Brandon is seething with anger on the inside, Adam's world seems to have had a completely different effect on the woman; she got scared thinking Adam is displeased with their action, and she might get fired because of it.

"Well... Aahhaa, I am embarrassed that you caught us like this. I was just having fun with my beloved fiancée," Brandon like through his teeth. "As you can see, we are about to get married," Brandon says, grabbing the woman's hand and showing her ringed finger.

The woman is surprised by Brandon's words, but she keeps her mouth shut. In fact, she feels a little happy being called a fiancée by Brandon as she is developing feelings for him.

Adam almost bursts into laughter hearing Brandon's lie, but he controls himself and checks out the woman's ring.

It's quite a nice ring; it's a big shiny rock attached to a platinum band. Her fiancé or husband must have spent a lot on this ring, but here she is, cheating on him with Brandon.

"Oh.. I didn't know you had a fiancée," Adam says and checks out the woman. She is good-looking, has a nice face, and a well-gifted body. No wonder Brandon is fucking her.

Adam, too, would love to take her on a ride.

"Well... You and I don't know each other that well," Brandon says.

"I must say, Brandon, you are one brave mother fucker," Adam says, his eyes turning cold.

Brandon feels like he is about to get thrown into a storm.

Brandon's eyes widen, and the woman's eyes widen as well. She can't believe what she just heard.
