Reborn with Infinity Skill Points, I Enslaved All Universes

Chapter415-The True Use of a Divine Artifact

God of Elements, Faer, stood silently in place, but his eyes drifted toward the open clearing not far away. For a brief moment, he remained quiet, and then at last he spoke in a calm, deliberate tone:

"No, I will not make a move against Lord Crossbridge, for he once offered me great help in the past. The reason I am standing here is only because the path I have chosen happens to align with Aurelia's. But that does not mean I will treat Lord Crossbridge as an enemy."

Hearing this, the Goddess of Luck, Luke, nodded lightly. Her golden hair shimmered faintly as she smiled faintly.

"So long as you refrain from striking, that is already the best choice."

On the other side, another figure appeared beside Crossbridge. It was none other than the God of Life, Laeve. She did not speak immediately, but Daniel could sense it clearly: a torrential surge of life force poured unceasingly into his body, so abundant and overwhelming that he nearly staggered from the sheer flood of vitality.

Within just a few heartbeats, Daniel discovered that his maximum HP was rising at an unbelievable pace.

What astonished him most was that his current HP had already been inflated to extraordinary levels thanks to the divine hymn [Ode to Life]. And yet, under Laeve's divine blessing, that value was multiplying—dozens of times over!

In the span of mere seconds, Daniel's health pool had expanded beyond anything he could have imagined. It was so absurd that if he had not witnessed the numbers himself, he would never have believed it.

And not only Daniel—Laeve's own vitality was also soaring upward. Her divine body glowed with a verdant radiance, and when Daniel glanced at her health bar, his breath caught. The seemingly endless string of zeros behind her HP value stunned him.

As expected of the God of Life—her reservoir of vitality was limitless, like an eternal wellspring that could never run dry.

Noticing Daniel's gaze lingering on her, Laeve turned her head and offered him a gentle, comforting smile. Then her eyes shifted toward Aurelia, and her voice, soft yet firm, resonated across the battlefield:

"Aurelia, do you truly believe that with me here, you could possibly kill Lord Crossbridge?"

Having spoken, Laeve raised her slender hand to her neck and removed a necklace of vivid green hue. The jewel shimmered with an aura of abundant life, filling the air with a refreshing vitality, as though the world itself was reborn in spring.

She extended it toward Daniel.

"Lord Crossbridge, hold onto this for now."

Almost reflexively, Daniel reached out and accepted it. For a moment, he froze, his expression caught between hesitation and disbelief.

Normally, he paid little attention to equipment. After all, with the immeasurable strength granted by his God Rank Skills, ordinary gear was insignificant, barely offering a fraction of what he could already wield. But this necklace—this was different.

And it was not because of the smooth whiteness of Laeve's skin when she had lifted it from her neck—Daniel forcefully shook that thought away. No, what truly made him pause was the sheer outrageous power embedded within the artifact's description.

[Fruit of Life Necklace]

Type: Necklace

Quality: Divine Artifact

Effect: When worn, the user will be infused with immense vitality, with life force flowing ceaselessly.

Description: Crafted from the fruit borne by the Elder Tree of Life, and refined personally by the God of Life herself, this necklace holds inconceivable power. Even gods would marvel at the life energy contained within it.

A Divine Artifact!?

Though its numerical attribute bonuses seemed ordinary on the surface, the effect it granted was absolutely monstrous. Daniel was stunned for a moment, then quickly regained composure.

After all, someone like Laeve—a god among gods—owning a divine artifact was hardly unreasonable.

But then, a daring thought crossed his mind.

Wait… could I perhaps steal the artifact's entry, the way I did with the Corridor of Time?

When he had encountered that temporal divine construct, he had been able to seize its ability and fuse it into his own skills. If such a thing were possible with divine artifacts as well, then in theory… every artifact he discovered could have its special entry plundered and integrated into his God Rank Skills.

That would mean, effectively, he could equip unlimited divine artifacts.

His heart raced at the mere possibility. The raw stats were not what tempted him—no, it was the unique, irreplaceable powers etched into artifacts: abilities that could bend reality, imprison demigods, or even shackle other gods themselves.

If he could graft the Fruit of Life Necklace's power into [Ode to Life], the synergy would be perfect, seamless, as if both had been designed for each other from the start.

For a moment, Daniel was completely enraptured by the idea. But reality sobered him quickly. This necklace was not a gift, merely entrusted to him for the moment. And the one who gave it was a genuine deity, standing by his side in full power. To secretly pilfer the artifact's essence under such circumstances would be suicidal.

He sighed inwardly and suppressed the dangerous thought.

For now, it was better to remain obedient and respectful. Laeve was an ally, after all.

Laeve's voice rang out once more, firm yet calm:

"Aurelia, I advise you to think carefully. If you insist on acting recklessly here, it will only bring disaster upon yourself. The one who needs to resolve the matter of the Inner God most urgently… is you."

Aurelia's half-light, half-dark figure stood tall amidst the tension. She said nothing at first, merely scanning the gathered deities with her piercing gaze. Though she was weakened, though her body wavered between light and shadow, her lips curved in a smile that never faltered.

At length, she spoke.

"You misunderstand me. I simply wished to visit an old friend I have not seen in many years. As for killing him…"

Her smile deepened, and in the next instant, a wave of murderous intent erupted like a storm. Blinding golden light engulfed the entire area, converging in streams of radiance directly before Daniel.

It seemed as though in the next moment, that brilliance would pierce through him entirely.

But just as suddenly as it appeared, the golden light dissipated into nothingness, vanishing as if it had never been there.

Aurelia laughed lightly, voice dripping with amusement.

"Hehe, I was only joking. Seeing Lord Crossbridge alive and well truly puts my heart at ease. Perhaps, if you are willing, our paths may yet converge in the future."

And with that, her figure blurred and vanished. Having ascended to the level of a god, she could now come and go like a shadow, unseen and untouchable.

On the other side, Faer, having watched her departure, turned to Daniel with a complex look. His youthful face—restored to how he had appeared tens of thousands of years ago—softened as he inclined his head.

"Lord Crossbridge, we meet again. For your aid in the distant past, I am deeply grateful. But I will never abandon the road I have chosen. Should you seek to hinder me…"

He left the words unfinished, but the implication was clear. At his feet, a glowing teleportation array of swirling chaos materialized. A moment later, Faer too vanished from sight.

With Aurelia and Faer both gone, Daniel exhaled slowly, feeling the crushing weight on his chest lighten considerably.

It was then that the Goddess of Luck, Luke, spoke once more.

"Lord Crossbridge, it has been over ten thousand years since our last meeting. To see you again brings me great joy. However… we cannot linger in this place for long. I am… very, very sorry."

Her words carried both warmth and sorrow, hanging heavy in the tense, divine atmosphere.
