Chapter271-The Warehouse Is Gone
Near Warehouse No. 98,
Daniel stepped out from the shadows. Only now, he was no longer in his original form—he had taken on the exact appearance of the Administrator of Warehouse No. 98.
Back when he had first arrived, Daniel had already used his mind power to scan the Administrator stationed here.
And once he had a complete reading of the man's appearance, the Gift of the Veiled Goddess activated—transforming Daniel into an exact replica of the Administrator, down to the smallest cellular structure.
With his current guise, Daniel walked confidently up to the warehouse entrance, calm and composed.
"I need to mobilize some resources,"
Daniel said aloud while slowly spreading his wings.
On one side of those wings was an emblem unique to the Angel race.
For most angels, one only needed to look at the markings on the wings to verify a person's identity.
The guards stationed at Warehouse No. 98 did not harbor the slightest suspicion toward this "Administrator."
After all, everyone knew that the Divine Realm possessed incredibly powerful detection capabilities—any form of darkness or deceit would be instantly revealed.
Because of this, it never occurred to them that anyone could disguise themselves as their esteemed Administrator and slip past their divine scrutiny.
Warehouse No. 98, relative to the main city of the Angel of Gold and Silver race, was considered a rather remote outpost.
Moreover, the Divine Realm spanned an enormous area. The incident Daniel had stirred up barely a minute ago hadn't even reached this far.
Even if news of it had traveled here, it likely wouldn't have caused much of a stir. In the eyes of the Divine Realm, the myriad mortal races were nothing but ants.
Just like how no human would care about the life or death of a single ant, much less check the news about them—and even if they did, it would be merely out of idle curiosity.
Thus, the angels patrolling the perimeter of Warehouse No. 98 were completely unaware of what Daniel had done moments ago.
Even if they had been aware, they wouldn't have cared.
From a logical standpoint, even if Daniel wanted to cause trouble in the Divine Realm, wouldn't he go to the main city or the Emperor of Angels' palace?
What business would he have coming to a remote, insignificant place like Warehouse No. 98?
He might as well go destroy the Sea of Resurrection instead!
No sane angel would have believed that Daniel would appear here.
And that misjudgment allowed him to enter the warehouse completely unchallenged.
Upon stepping inside, Daniel couldn't help but marvel inwardly.
While the Primordial Core Weapon was extremely powerful, even that had its limits—every weapon could be countered or circumvented.
But Gift of the Veiled Goddess, this God Rank Skill, was something else entirely.
It didn't just disguise Daniel superficially. It transformed him into another person completely, right down to the molecular level.
Which meant—he could easily inherit the target's access privileges.
Sure, the Primordial Core Weapon was devastating.
But had Daniel attempted to break into Warehouse No. 98 head-on, he would've faced a gauntlet of obstacles and resistance.
Direct assaults and stealth infiltration were completely different challenges.
Without the Gift of the Veiled Goddess, Daniel sincerely doubted he'd have even reached this far.
Now inside, he extended his senses to survey the contents of the warehouse.
What he found stunned him:
[Invitation to the Sinful Underground Labyrinth][Access Permit to the Lost Paradise][Admission Ticket to the Undead Heaven][Key to the Hellish Cage]
...
Daniel never expected that the warehouse contained tokens and keys granting access to various dimensions and underground labyrinths.
These tokens might be physical keys, invitations, or other artifacts. But one thing was consistent—anyone seeking access to specific realms needed these items.
No wonder the warehouse was so heavily guarded.
From a surface-level glance, Warehouse No. 98 appeared indistinguishable from others—unremarkable and mundane.
But from a strategic standpoint, it was of tremendous importance.
Daniel didn't hesitate. He immediately selected the necessary components and synthesized a brand-new skill:
[Universal Gauntlet]
And of course, he enhanced it to maximum capacity while he was at it.
Once he acquired the Universal Gauntlet, Daniel cast his gaze toward the distant Dark Prison, the corners of his lips curling upward in satisfaction.
"Thank you, Milla," he whispered.
Without her guidance, how could he possibly have found such treasures?
Then, he looked again at the freshly-acquired God Rank Skill.
[Universal Gauntlet]Effect: Ignores all prerequisites and forcibly opens the barrier between any two spaces.
Daniel nodded in approval.
Today's haul was more than satisfying.
He glanced at the now-empty warehouse and couldn't help but mutter to himself.
"Leaving such a great warehouse empty... what a waste."
"Maybe I should add a little something to it?"
As he said this, he retrieved 32 Primordial Core Weapons from his backpack space.
Currently, all angels in the Divine Realm had developed immunity to the destructive damage of the Primordial Core Weapon.
But Daniel's objective went beyond simply blowing up Warehouse No. 98.
There was another goal—to draw the angels' attention and destroy Warehouse No. 97 in the process.
In reality, Warehouses 97 and 98 were built side by side.
Warehouse 97 stored gear that was only usable by the Angel of Gold and Silver race. From Daniel's quick mind power scan, he found nothing of value—at least, nothing that interested him.
Still, common sense told him that anything stored here must be useful to their race's combat capability. Otherwise, why preserve it?
Since that was the case, he figured he might as well destroy it too.
Even if it only resulted in a small loss to the Angel of Gold and Silver faction, it was still a loss.
After all, Warehouse 97 held a bit over ten billion pieces of equipment—not a trivial sum.
As the countdown reached zero,
a thunderous explosion erupted from inside Warehouse No. 98.
Then—a blazing miniature sun emerged from the ground itself!
The sudden, blinding blast stunned the patrolling angels nearby.
Their expressions turned blank as their minds stalled for several seconds.
Only after that delay did they snap to attention and rush toward the site.
But what awaited them left them paralyzed with despair.
The areas where Warehouses 97 and 98 once stood… were completely leveled.
In their place was a massive crater gouged deep into the earth.
In that moment, every angel understood the horrifying truth:
Both warehouses—and everything inside them—had been utterly destroyed.
Dark Prison
Daniel's figure once again appeared before Milla.
This time, however, he used his original appearance.
As soon as he emerged, the surrounding patrolling angels swarmed in from all directions.
"What do you think you're doing?" one of them barked.
