REBORN IN THE CRYSIS NANO-SUIT

I had practiced all the movements for a little, copying the stance that was shown to me by Prophet. I wasn't exactly proficient in terms of speed, but it was perfect enough in its overall execution of how effective it was for maximum power.

And currently, I was ready to acquire my first ever kill.

[Steady your breath host... Aim at the target's chest...]

I followed Prophet's commands with surprised ease, doing exactly as he says. I pulled back the bowstring, going all the way to the maximum.

It was as if I could feel the amount of power this thing was going to pack...

[Ready host?]

"...Yes..."

I steadied my breathing even more and ensuring my arrow would hit the target...

I fired...

*SWISH*

A sharp sound of the air being cut was made, then in the next instant, I could hear countless sonic booms being created at its wake.

Instantly, the arrow pierced the monsters, the sheer wind pressure alone killing them instantly...

I looked down once again at the weapon I've created...

'Damn! This thing could probably pierce even mountains...' I thought to myself.

I shook myself out of my amazement, then sprinted to the corpses that were scattered in the area.

After running for a couple of minutes, I saw the aftermath of the strike up close, a gigantic crater being 100's of meters in both width and depth...

"Prophet... I think this weapon might be a bit over my pay grade..." I said.

Looking around, I saw the arrow within one of the monster's flesh. I was amazed at how unscathed it was from the force of that strike... Still.

With this Bow. I could face any challenge that was in a higher league then even mine... it's way too powerful.

[It isn't host, for now it might be, but in the future, who knows what we will be facing...]

"That's, true... but I feel like this thing could level a small city... Anyhow, do your thing Prophet... it might be a little tedious though..."

[It isn't an issue host. I need only a few minutes...]

~10 minutes later... ~

[I am finished host... I have gathered the primary parts of all the monsters... Are you ready?]

Seeing the piles of flesh and carapace was a little unsightly, but I bared with it. I was going to grow from this, anyway.

"Ok, you can go ahead." I confirmed.

[Affirmative... go over towards the flash and touch it... I need you to be in close proximity for this to be as quick as possible...

As I did so, Prophet then unleashed small tentacles from himself/suit. Spreading across the bodies of the monster corpses. It took less than 10 seconds for them to cover the small hill of flesh completely. The suit wrapped to what seems like nano-machines around the creatures then slowly began to fuse it all...

I was equally amazed, and creeped out by the sight of all this.

[...Host, I will need to knock you unconscious for you to not feel pain. Do you want to do so, or will you stay awake?]

"Just knock me unconscious. Who in their right mind would choose pain route?"

[Good point... The process will begin in 3... 2... 1...]

Shortly after, I felt my consciousness slip away gracefully... Unknown to the changes that were going to occur from all of this...

[...'Absorption' process commencing... The 'Absorption' effect has grown more potent... Scanning through more 'Junk' DNA... A multitude of benefits have been ingested...]

I then felt myself returning... just far different again... far, far stronger than before. My mind felt sharper too, much more so than before. Everything felt so slow to me...

I stood up, a little taller than before. The musculature and carapace on the suit were beginning to cover more parts of my body. My musculature no longer had a 'ultra-bulky' look to it, but now lean-ish muscular look with relatively bigger arms and a smaller waist than before.

The suit was a little darker than it was too...

'Not bad so far. I need to check on Prophet, though.' I said to myself.

"Uh, Prophet...? You there?" I asked.

[Yes host... I am here... your gains have been bountiful this time... Would you like to hear about them in detail?]

Gains? What other gains could I have acquired other than strength and speed?

"Yes..." I simply said.

[Affirmative... Calibrating all gains via consumption... host has gained; greater toxin resistance, toxic blood 'mutation', myostatin 'mutation', Super enhanced sensory capabilities, greater maneuverability, tougher carapace 'mutation', blunt resistance and enhanced 'Absorption' potency]

So that sort of explains my better proportions than before...

Still, this was a lot to take in.

"So I gained six new perks from just three creatures... that's good. And toxic blood to boot."

I was surprised at what I had gained from just these three creatures... maybe it has something to do with the 'Absorption' power the suit had...

"Oh. Prophet, could you section my physical capabilities to the left of my screen, please? And add processing/perception to it as well."

[Yes host...]

In a split second, I saw my new physical capabilities display to the left of my Hud. When I looked however...

'WHAT?!!!' I shouted, having a quick mental breakdown.

When I saw my stats... they looked unreal...

"Strength: 84.92+ tons. Speed: 39,567+ mph. Processing speed: 13.35+ times my regular speed!" I said, unbelievably.

I had grown significantly stronger than before...

"I still don't get it. This doesn't explain the leap in strength, Prophet." I said.

[Normally no, but since my 'Absorption' capabilities have become twice as potent and efficient. I can find hidden mutations much easier now while reaping more gains for you]

"Ah, so that explains that..."

'Still, I was impressed. However, I know there was a limit to just eating the reapers...'

"Prophet, how strong do you think I can get with just eating the reapers based on your current capabilities?"

[Since my consumption ability has grown significantly. The new limit in strength, speed, and perception are 150 tons, 65,000 mph and 23.5 times the perception. However, keep in mind that this is the limit without mutations, as they/mutations boost that limit to a significant degree]

"Thanks for the information, Prophet."

With this information in my mind, it was rather interesting.

'Mutations might be the 'meta' for quickly gaining power...' I thought. Smiling to myself.

Not only that, my senses seem to be much greater than before. I could easily perceive up to all 1345.4 km in distance with near perfect clarity... Which must be from my enhanced sensory gain from the last consumption.

It's insane how omniscient I felt... I could see, hear and feel anything within this radius, and my mind was filtering the information with ease too.

Now... all that was left to do was to find more creatures and potentially a civilization.
