Reborn in Konoha; I Think I’m Cultivating Immortality

Chapter 330: Chapter 330

After capturing all the branch family members of the Ōtsutsuki Hamura lineage, Hui didn't hesitate. He directly led Ōtsutsuki Kaguya to the main family's domain.

At this moment, the members of the main family were nearly scared out of their wits.

Their clan still preserved portraits of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, depicting exactly who had been sealed on the moon.

And now, seeing this terrifying figure, who should have been sealed in the center of the moon, appear before them, they felt their scalps go numb.

This was the fiend that their ancestors and the Sage of Six Paths had joined forces to seal away. Their ancestors had long since passed, and the Sage of Six Paths was also dead. Who in this world could stop this demon now?

Not to mention, this fiend wasn't alone. There was also an unfamiliar yet equally intimidating man beside her.

"You all will stay here obediently. Do not harbor any thoughts toward the Shinobi World. If you dare launch any attack, you will face the annihilation of your clan."

Hui's voice resounded with undeniable authority. As he spoke, a divine sword appeared in his hand—Zhi Yi.

It had been a long time since Hui had wielded Zhi Yi.

To think that this, the strongest divine sword in the Shinobi World, rarely had a chance to shine because its master was overwhelmingly powerful on his own.

Now that it finally had a chance to appear, Zhi Yi seemed to hum excitedly.

Hui smiled slightly upon hearing the sound, recognizing that it was the sword's excitement. He then gathered his power and will, and with a swift motion, the sword slashed downward.

In the next instant, a brilliant light burst forth from the blade, flying toward a distant star in the sky.

That star was one of the celestial bodies closest to the moon, a massive meteorite.

Under the stunned gazes of all the onlookers, the star exploded!

The scene shattered their understanding of reality.

It was terrifying. Absolutely terrifying.

Even Kaguya shuddered involuntarily. For the first time, she realized just how powerful the man beside her truly was.

"If you disobey my words, your fate will be the same as that star."

Hui reiterated his warning, his tone unyielding.

After speaking, he calmly returned Zhi Yi to its sheath.

Everyone remained utterly silent, not daring to utter a single word.

They could only watch as Hui led Kaguya away.

No one dared to stop them.

Thus, Hui concluded his journey to the moon.

He and Kaguya began their return to the Shinobi World. It didn't take long for the two of them to arrive back.

By the time they returned, it was already late at night in the Shinobi World.

The bustling streets of Konoha had quieted down. Aside from a few night shops and people wandering the streets, most of the village had already drifted into dreams.

"It's been over a thousand years since you were sealed away, so the world has changed drastically from the one you once knew."

Hui spoke to the curious Kaguya, who was staring at the glowing electric lights in fascination. Modern Konoha had entered the age of electricity, and items like light bulbs were commonplace.

And it wasn't just light bulbs, there were numerous other electrical appliances that had transformed Konoha's appearance from its formerly "archaic" state.

Of course, this was all thanks to Hui's efforts to promote technological advancement.

The path of this world had never been limited to just one.

"Let's take you to your new residence."

Hui intended for Kaguya to stay in Konoha. This arrangement served two purposes: one, it allowed him to keep a close eye on her, and two… well, it made collecting blood samples for scientific research more convenient.

After all, it wouldn't be fair for her to live here without contributing something, right?

How could he let her stay for free?

She had to pay rent and food expenses somehow…

And what better way than to "donate" some blood?

Completely unaware of his thoughts, Kaguya calmly accepted her new situation, obediently following the arrangements of this man who was stronger than her.

And thus, Hui successfully lured Kaguya into Konoha.

Konoha now had a pure-blooded Ōtsutsuki in residence.

And not just any Ōtsutsuki, but a being at the Six Paths level of strength.

However, this Six Paths-level individual severely lacked battle experience.

Hui was speechless about this fact.

It seemed he would have to take some time to train Kaguya properly.

The two of them arrived at the Senju Clan's district. There were plenty of vacant houses here, as Hui had deliberately left space during the planning stages.

At the time, the intention had been to reserve these areas for future generations of the Senju Clan. However, since the clan's population hadn't grown significantly, the spaces had remained unused.

"These books will give you some foundational knowledge of the Shinobi World's history and its current state. They aren't comprehensive, but they should help you quickly understand this era."

Hui handed Kaguya some books, historical texts from the Shinobi World.

Of course, the contents of these books had been subtly modified.

Between the lines, an unmistakable message was written loud and clear:

Konoha's indomitable spirit, Will of fire.

Hui always placed a high value on education and wouldn't let any instructional material go to waste when it came to its "educational" influence.

As for how much Kaguya would actually absorb or whether she'd be affected by it, Hui didn't particularly care.

After all, he had a firm grasp on the naïve and gullible woman.

He wasn't worried about any issues cropping up.

With that, Hui had effectively handled the matter of Kaguya's accommodation.

However, just as he was about to leave her room, his footsteps paused.

He turned to look in a particular direction.

Kaguya also seemed to sense something and shifted her gaze to the same spot.

Under their watchful eyes, a transparent figure slowly appeared.

It was a silhouette seated in a meditative position, floating mid-air.

More accurately, it was a mass of chakra in humanoid form.

The figure had two horns protruding from its head and three eyes, all Rinnegan. Two of the eyes were purple, while the one on his forehead was crimson.

He had brown hair and wore a white robe resembling a lab coat. Six black, magatama-like symbols adorned his chest, and a red, spiral symbol was marked on his back, with nine magatama arranged in a three-by-three pattern beneath it.

This was… Kaguya's eldest son, Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo, the legendary Sage of Six Paths!

"It has been a long time, Mother," Hagoromo spoke.

Despite his aged appearance and Kaguya's had a youthful beauty, which made Hagoromo look more like her grandfather than her son…

But the truth remained, this was his mother, the one who had created him.

Hui watched the reunion between mother and son with great interest.

Kaguya's expression was complex, tears forming in her eyes as emotions surged, grief, hatred, and fury.

"Hagoromo!!!" Kaguya cried out as her anger flared, unable to resist the urge to smack her own son.

This was the very son who had personally sealed her away, her rage toward him burned like an unquenchable fire.

"Tsk, tsk. What a touching scene of motherly affection," a voice interrupted, freezing the rising tension in the room.

Motherly affection?

Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo's mouth twitched imperceptibly.

He was speechless at Hui's remark.

"A pleasure to meet you for the first time, Sage of Six Paths, Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo."

Hui addressed Hagoromo, drawing his attention.

Although this was their first face-to-face meeting, Hui had long been since kept an eye on by the Sage of Six Paths.

From Hagoromo's perspective, Hui was someone he had observed as a mere boy.

Yet, in a blink of an eye, this human youth had grown to an astonishing degree, so fast that even Hagoromo could hardly comprehend it.

In just a few short years of inattention, this young man had transformed from mortal to sage, from sage to god.

Hagoromo knew for certain that this young human was now even stronger than him.

It was mind-boggling, an unbelievable reality.

But a reality nonetheless.

"Mochizuki Hui, the pleasure is mine," Hagoromo replied.

"If you've took the liberty to come here, it's not just to reunite with your mother Kaguya, is it? Are you worried about something? Or… do you have another purpose?"

Hui's tone was calm as he spoke. He moved naturally to a nearby seat, conveniently placed within comfortable distance from Hagoromo.

After sitting down, Hui activated his Divine Mind reading Technique.
