Reborn ghost seeing lady is pampered by her ex husband

"If anybody can do it, it's her." Maureen assured Eliza. "Trust me, if there is someone that the universe listens to in the world, it is my niece here. She is a special kind of shaman. How many of her kind do you know of that can summon your child from beyond the veil and allow you to see and talk to each other."

Rekha added to Maureen's words, "None of that fake shaman the ghost is possessing and speaking through me kind of crap. I promise that you can believe in her."

"You have my word. Even if it's not in your next lifetime, you will get another in which you and your son are reborn as mother and son." Phoebe assured her. "This is the best offer you are going to get. It is much better than living as Eliza and working for a demon for the rest of your life."

Upon getting Phoebe's confirmation, Kalinda flew out of Eliza's body. "Please let her be alive." She muttered, praying for her sins will be less by one so that she could get another chance.

Her vengeance could be considered over. Eliza had killed her son, and she had killed two of her children. If Eliza was alive, she would live in pain with that knowledge for the rest of her life.

Maureen pushed Noah aside and began chest compressions, counting under her breath. Rekha poured a rejuvenating tonic down Eliza's throat. For two minutes, they tried futilely to save Eliza but even they could tell that it was hopeless.

"She is dead, she must have been for some time now. Enigma probably made sure of this when he made that deal with Kalinda." Maureen gave up and declared.

"It was the only way for Kalinda to fully possess Eliza's body." Rekha muttered. She looked at Noah sadly and shook her head. "We were too late."

If only Eliza had taken Phoebe up on the offer, she made her all those months ago.

Hot tears spewed out of Noah's eyes, he laughed manically then the laugh turned into loud sobs of despair. He did not know how to feel or what to think but all he knew was that he was in pain.

Lamenting loudly to the skies, he cried out and said, "Who do I blame for this misfortune? My lying and evil wife for killing and betraying a friend or this Kalinda for killing her? What about my poor children that were innocent in all this? Who is responsible for what befell them? What do I do now? What do I do? What do I do?" He put his head on the tiles and wept. His entire family had been wiped out.

As for Eliza, he knew what her fate would be in terms of being remembered by the world. Shark would find Kalinda's body and he would tell the world what Eliza had done. All of her crimes would be revealed. People would wonder if he had been complacent in the crimes.

At least his children would not be around to be remembered as the offspring of a murderer. The more he thought about the children, the more he cried. He regretted so much not having divorced Eliza like his sister had suggested three years ago when Shark first started sniffing around their family.

Watching Noah fall apart made them all sigh in pity but there was nothing they could do for him now.

"Tell him that I am sorry." Kalinda made a request.

Maureen scoffed. "Of all people whose sympathy he wants to hear yours is the last on the list. You could never forgive Eliza for the role she played in the death of your child. You took two children from him; he won't forgive you...not right now and not ever." She replied, her words full of scorn.

Nodding, Kalinda's sad eyes moved from Noah to Phoebe. "I will go for judgement now, do not forget to say that prayer for me now." She waved as she dissolved like smoke in a white light.

"Is it over now?" Shark stepped forward, he had been watching from outside without interrupting. After the heart fire witch incident, he had learned that it was better to leave supernatural fighting to those that could handle it.

His attention shifted to the dead body that was lying on the floor. "Is she dead?"

"As a doorknob." Maureen replied.

"Damn! I was so eager to arrest Eliza Grant." He launched a kick at the air.

"Call Claire." Phoebe told him for they needed to come up with a cause of death that was not suffocated by a ghost or demon.

Maureen meanwhile was busy erasing Noah's memory especially the parts about ghosts and demons, the last thing they wanted was for him to blabber out things that they did not want out there.

"Are you really going to pray for Kalinda?" Maureen asked. "She was not really innocent you know, she knew what she was doing when she killed those two children. An eye for an eye would be a child for a child. Not two children for one child." She added.

Phoebe expelled a sigh. "It was a ploy to get her to move on. But I gave her my word so I will pray for mercy for her. In the end, Eliza was the origin of this tragedy not her."

Rekha excused herself to pick a call. "What?" Her voice was so loud that the others heard. Without wasting time, she made her way back. "The team of hunters that went to the TK Entertainment is all dead, killed by demons." She relayed to them.

Gritting her teeth, Maureen groaned in anger. "Fuck! In which class were they?" She asked.

"First." Rekha responded. "Apparently it was the only free team available. Who the hell sent babies to fight demons?" She let out a hissed breath.

Phoebe chewed on her nail, worry gnawing at her. It was bad news for the families of the hunters and the academy at large. "And Enigma? What happened to him?" The questions tumbled out of her, fear etching on her forehead.

"Evelyn's boyfriend?" Rekha asked, confusion taking over.

"He is a demon." Maureen filled in Rekha.

Rekha's face went from shock to disgust really quickly. "Poor Evelyn...gross."

"I am going to solve that problem today." Phoebe shared. She followed that declaration up by calling Evelyn whom she told to meet her at the cafe because she had an emergency.

Done with that she ordered Shark to wait for Claire and take care of Noah. Shark had already called other police officers to the scene which had been cleaned up magically so the presence of Phoebe and the ghost hunting team would not be found.

Even the surveillance footage was tampered with, and it did not show them doing anything to Eliza other than trying to resuscitate her. Shark had advised them not to delete everything as the neighbors and street cameras had caught them driving to the house and entering it.

As far as it showed, Eliza got home, they talked for a while and then she collapsed for an unknown reason. In their witness statements, they would claim that they had met with Noah and Eliza to discuss buying their house.

To ensure that the footage sold this story, Phoebe called Roxanne to ensure that she hacked in and altered the footage which had been captured to tell the story they wanted.
