TEAM 2 POV

The team of five took a 30 minute break before continuing moving through the dungeon and that's when they all felt

An even more intense pressure descended upon them, even more suffocating than the Minotaur's.

As was as if they were staring at death itself, and beads of sweat started to form on their heads.

Brad gulped. "Damn, this one will be tough."

Grace snorted. "I'm sure it's noth—!"

But she didn't get to finish her sentence as they heard a loud roar but it wasn't from one monster but three

ROAR!!

ROAR!!

ROAR!!

They heard the raws and they saw a large silhouette coming from the sky, their faces paled as they saw the massive figure

It was a monster like any other, its head was that of a lion, it's tail was that of a serpent, it had large bat wings with a goat's secondary head next to the other head.

It landed on the ground with a loud thud as dust started to accumulate all around it that was blown away with a single flap of it's massive wings

"A chimera." Selena commented, her hands shaking from the pressure.

The dust then settled, and before them stood the Chimera.

It's three beads were snarling in unison — the lion's mouth was burning with deep crimson flames, while the goats eyes were glowing with an eerie yellow, and while the serpent's tail hissed with venom, it was dripping acid that melt the very ground it touched.

Each step the Chimera took made the whole dungeon tremble.

Grace took a step back, and gritted her teeth.

"This Chimera is strong, the power it's radiating it that of a C rank but it feels a bit more stronger than that."

Brad just clenched his fist and then slammed them together, and his aura ignited with a fiery brown energy. "Then there's only one thing left to do, we'll fight."

It roared once again and spread its massive wings, the Chimera launched itself forward with shocking speed for it's size. The whole ground was cracking beneath it.

"Everyone scatter!!" Grace shouted to her team.

They all understood and instantly split. The lion head of the chimera was spewing fire towards Ivy and Grace.

The Serpent tail was lashing towards Amy and Selena while Brad was standing his ground then summoned layers of stone that would serve as their defense.

"Earth Fortress!"

That's when three massive walls erupted from the floor below, they would then intercept the blast that was going towards them.

Selena then took this chance to attack, her eyes started to glow blue while her sword was held firmly on her left hand.

"Water Spears!"

Multiple orbs of water formed around her body which morphed into spears and were launched towards the Chimera.

The spears were flying at blinding speeds, they pierced through the air and they slammed into the Chimera's flank.

When the spears came into contact with it's body, steam then erupted as they met it's burning aura.

Grace took her chance while it was distracted to do a follow up attack, her wands swirled with crimson and emerald light.

"Tempest Spiral!"

That's when a fiery cyclone started to form around her and she surged it forward, it spiraled towards the Chimera.

The wind met with the fire creating a roaring inferno that launched and collided with the monsters side.

ROAR!!

The Chimera was roaring in pain as it slided back slightly as smoke was rising from the part that was hit from the attack scorching it's fur.

Before any of them could even saying anything, the goat head started to open its mouth and it released a burst of energy that creates shockwaves across the field.

"Everyone take cover!" Brad yelled at the top of his lungs.

Amy dived towards an earth pillar, shielding herself from the explosion as she hid behind it.

"Grace, are you okay!?" Selena yelled as she noticed that Grace was being pushed back as blood was trickling down her left arm from the shockwave.

"I'm fine Selena!" She hissed, as she stood up and brushed off dust from her body but her eyes were still burning with fierce determination.

"Then let's all end this beast together." Selena then raised her hands as arcs of lightning started to crackle around her.

Amy also joined in the attack and started to summon a surge of wind and dust started to accumulate around her feet.

"Let's do an awesome combo, and end it with a blast!"

Grace nodded, understanding the plan immediately.

Selena also raised her voice in accordance to her attack.

"Storm Convergence!"

Amy and Grace also started to extend their hands forward, they both channeled their affinities into the attack Selena created.

The wind, fire and also the lightning were starting to combine above the Chimera, it the swirled into a collosal orb of chaotic energy.

The beast looked up at the orb and started to flap its wings, it was trying to disperse it using its wings, but the orb detonated before it could even do anything.

BOOM!!

That's when a blinding flash started to filled the whole dungeon — the combined explosions threw the Chimera's body back by several meters, the blast scorched its hide and it seared through a part of its wings.

That's when Brad decided to seize the moment. "It's down! Let's finish it now!"

That's when he slammed his hands on the ground, and it created massive pillars that were covered with flames as they erupted around the beast, and then trapped it in a blazing cage.

"Flame Blind!"

The Chimera started to screech and tried to escape from the cage but that's when Ivy intercepted it.

Her eyes were glowing with a bright black, shadows started to pool beneath her feet as flames were now flickering across her hands.

"Let's burn you to a crisp," she whispered "Abyss Flame!"

Fire wrapped around in darkness was gathering around her hands and she fired it towards the Chimera.

The attack struck it directly on its chest, these flames weren't ordinary they were sucking up the beasts energy.

The Chimera started to roar violently, its head started to thrash around.

The serpent tail countered going towards Ivy, but Selena didn't let that happen at all.

She intercepted it with a lightning whip that was created mid-motion, the whipped yanked down the tail before it could even reach the target.

"Don't worry I have your back!" Selena yelled.

"Thanks." Ivy said with a Grin.

But the monster was enraged about the current situation it was in, it managed to break free from the cage that Brad created with a violent burst if energy.

It's body was now glowing red with fiery energy, and it let out a roar that sent shockwaves across the whole dungeon.

ROAR!

Brad coughed from exhaustion, and gritted his teeth. "It's still not enough... Damn just how durable is it!?"

Grace took the stand and moves forward, wind started to swirl violently around her body as she was drawing up all her remaining strength.

"Then we'll finish it, with everything we've got!"

Inhaling deeply grace closed her eyes, wind and fire were fusing around her.

Her entire aura started to ignite, and it formed into a blazing tempest of fiery storm.

"Falk back everyone!" She urged them.

Everyone obeyed and they moved away instantly, giving her space to act.

"Final Gale: Blazing Tempest Storm!"

She yelled her eyes glowed with a deep orange like red, as a massive tornado of fire and wind started to engulf the whole Chimera completely.

The tornado was roaring even louder than the Chimera's cries, as the flames burned even brighter and more hotter with very passing second until the whole of the dungeon was illuminated by a crimson light.

The Chimera let out it's final scream as its voice started to die down while being swallowed by the inferno.

The flames finally started to die down, and all that was left from its rampage was a scorched earth and also a faint silhouette that disintegrated into ash.

The whole team stood just stood there, they were all panting and were only surrounded by smoke and a lingering silence.

Grace smiles as the strength left her whole body, she dropped down to one knee, she was exhausted.

"Finally it's gone." She exhaled.

Selena was slumped down on the ground, breathing heavily. "Yeah we did it."

Brads hands were still trembling, he nodded. "Yeah, that damn thing could've killed us if we slipped up even once."

Amy was also out of breath, but she just chuckled weakly.

"Next time, we should fight something that doesn't have three heads and its this tough?"

Ivy just smirked. "And where's the fun in that?"

The whole team started to laugh softly and the tension started to slowly fade.

They have completed their task and also won the battle, they have learned from this experience and also bonded with each other.

For what it was they all admitted that the struggles they went through was worth it, and they'll move to the next apth ahead even stronger.
