Chapter 19: Mythical-Class vs Sacred-Class
◇◇◇
A thunderous roar shook the mountain.
Ironhorn—freed from the seal—stomped the ground, his massive frame radiating golden energy.
His obsidian armor gleamed, and his colossal horn crackled with power.
Across from him—
Radiant Leonis.
The winged lion, burning with divine fire, let out a powerful, earth-shaking roar. Its holy flames burned the ground around it.
Lucius Arden wiped the blood from his mouth.
"Hmph. Even with your beast unsealed… you won't win."
I smirked.
"We'll see about that."
"IRONHORN! CRUSH THEM!"
And thus—
the clash of titans began.
◇◇◇
The Collision of Power
Ironhorn charged, his hooves creating shockwaves with every step.
Radiant Leonis spread its wings, holy flames surging around it as it launched forward.
BOOM!
The two beasts collided.
Horn against claw.
Golden flames against primal energy.
The force of their impact shattered nearby boulders and cracked the earth beneath them.
I grit my teeth.
"Their power… it's insane."
Celestia chuckled beside me.
"Ara~ Isn't this thrilling, darling? Your Mythical Beast against a Sacred Beast~"
I didn't answer.
I was too focused.
Ironhorn slammed its head forward, his massive horn striking Radiant Leonis' chest.
BOOOOM!
The winged lion was sent flying through the cliffside.
Lucius' eyes widened.
"Tch—Radiant Leonis! Regroup!"
But Ironhorn didn't give it a chance.
THUD! THUD! THUD!
The ground cracked as Ironhorn charged again, his obsidian armor glowing with primal power.
Radiant Leonis tried to ignite its flames—
But Ironhorn's horn slammed into its ribs.
CRACK!
The beast howled in pain, its golden blood splattering the ground.
I clenched my fists.
"YES! Keep pressing!"
But then—
Lucius smiled.
"You're wide open."
I froze.
What?
Lucius raised his hand, and a second golden sigil appeared.
"Radiant Judgment."
BOOOOOOOM!
A column of divine fire descended from the heavens, engulfing Ironhorn entirely.
"NO—!" I roared.
The flames burned fiercely, holy energy purging everything it touched.
Lucius grinned.
"You thought you had me?"
But then—
Through the flames—
A massive shadow emerged.
Ironhorn.
Unburned. Unbroken. Unstoppable.
His obsidian armor had absorbed the divine flames.
Lucius' expression shattered.
"Impossible—"
I grinned.
"You didn't know?"
I raised my hand.
"Ironhorn's obsidian armor absorbs elemental attacks."
Lucius' face paled.
Ironhorn's horn blazed with golden power.
And then—
He charged.
"CRUSH THEM!"
BOOOOOM!
