Chapter 6: [ Intro ] Chapter 6- Love~♡!
"Fufu~♡"
Laila giggled as she moved through the hallway leading to the basement, her face completely melted due to the audio being played on the headset while she listened to something through her headphones.
:: Do you really like Laila that much? ~~ Of course, I love her ::
"Aunty~!!" Laila halted in her tracks, calling out to the woman ahead of her with crimson hair, who was holding a dead body in her hand and easily lifting it, proving the strength of her delicate arms.
"What happened now, Princess?" Meera inquired.
"Let's go to Country D right now!" Laila was in Country A, the richest of all present countries, located 2200 miles away from Country D, which was classified as one of the developing countries.
Halting in her path, Meera turned her gaze towards her young miss, who seemed to have lost her mind again while listening to the voice of that young man.
Not paying any attention, she continued moving, making Laila pout and chase after her bodyguard. "Aunt, pretty please~!"
But it seemed all the stars shooting from her eyes had no effect on the woman moving with a blank expression, habitually ignoring daily tantrums like this whenever such things happened.
//Aunty, I heard Akhil purchased my music CD. Let's organize a charity concert for the deaf people in Country D.//
//Aunty, why not go to Country D for a fan gathering? I promise I don't want to go because Akhil was looking at my music posters.//
//Aunty...//
Moving toward the basement, none of Laila's words made their way through Meera's ears, just like all those before—she had developed immunity against the world's most beautiful woman's charm.
"We arrived, Princess," Meera informed, her eyes turning towards the metal door down the hallway leading to the basement.
A black-suited man wearing black glasses and a walkie-talkie had just informed the men inside to open the door.
"Huh, why so soon? It's just the 563rd time I've heard that recording. Tch, you're like a horse, Aunty," Laila remarked, removing her headphones and blaming Meera for walking faster and reaching the basement much sooner.
'We reached the basement in half an hour when the way was just five minutes away?' Meera looked blankly at her young miss, sighing in helplessness.
She didn't want to blame anyone since at least that audio made her young miss forget about her injury.
"Yush, Mission Accomplished," she added, feeling proud that she had managed to heal her young miss, especially after she had secretly planted her spies among the students to record every conversation between Akhil and Niharika, following the rule: always keep enemies closer than friends—an idiom which means knowing more about the enemy is crucial.
Krieeeeek
The metal door slowly opened, revealing a room filled with CCTV camera monitors, dim light, and several men lying on the ground with their eyes and mouths covered and hands tied, in a beaten state.
"Sigh, how could you be so cruel?" Laila felt pity upon seeing them in that state before approaching one of them, taking out her headset and holding it in her hand.
"Open all of their eye folds at least. I will help this gentleman myself," she said, moving towards the man in front of those tied individuals.
"Are you all right, Mr. Bad Sir?" Slowly removing the eye fold, Laila gazed at the exhausted black eyes with crimson nerves in the whitish part, caused by the tremendous pain inflicted on them.
"Amfff....." The moment the assassin's eyes revealed some light, his mind was flooded with memories of the torture inflicted upon him.
However, still following his code, he felt the need to at least kill her before dying.
"Bad sir, I will free your hands, but please promise not to hurt me," Laila said softly as she placed the headphones on the table and moved towards the hand ropes.
"Um, come on." Despite her best efforts, her delicate soft hands were incapable of untying even a single knot.
"Ouch, Aunty, why are these ropes so tight?" With a saddened face, Laila lifted her gaze to look at her Aunt with a defeated expression.
Not receiving any reply from her, she tried to search for something sharp to cut the ropes and free these people.
"Princess, this one?" One of the men wearing a suit took out his karambit knife, specially used by ex-special agent veterans like him in battles, offering it to her with both hands, not wanting to scratch her divine skin with his rough hands.
Laila never once mentioned anything about them taking things this far, but all the people inside the room were ready to die for a smile from that kind soul.
"T-thank you, Mr. sir," Laila said, taking the karambit knife and moving toward the hand, attempting to cut the rope.
SKrch
"MFFFF!!!"
SCHLKT
"UGHHHHH!"
"Tch, it's not working. Instead, it seems I injured him. How can I be this stupid?" Laila blamed her own stupidity for accidentally cutting the man's radial and ulnar veins instead of cutting the ropes.
'How could someone this beautiful be this cruel?'
This thought echoed within everyone in the room. Not that they cared, since if not for her, they would have done the same to her.
But still, two precise cuts on the two most fatal nerves once again made them understand: Never go near beautiful things.
THUD
Due to the enormous bleeding, the tied man's body fell to the floor, devoid of any life, his eyes widened with tears of last-moment agony.
"Huh, is he sleeping? Sigh, I guess I need to free the other Mr. Bad people." Laila slowly moved with the knife in her hand, taking a chair before calmly sitting on it and folding her legs.
"Princess, you must be thirsty." One of the men swiftly brought juice, offering it to her while kneeling.
"It's embarrassing. Don't do it next time," Laila firmly stated, taking the glass.
Due to her previous orders, all of the others' eye folds were open, their eyes widened due to the horror they had just witnessed.
They were assassins, but in the end, they were human too.
Thud thud.
Seeing their leader's state, who was the most experienced among them, they all threw themselves in a kowtowed position, their heads colliding with the floor, filled with tears.
Drip
Tears streamed down, with snot also drenching the floor where their heads were placed, as they desired nothing but a peaceful death.
"La La, no, it's time for another round of listening," Laila placed the headset on again, and once more, the room was filled with giggles, with one word reverberating, "My Love~♡!"
