Deep within my Soulscape, I sensed it expanding even further, and all the power I had absorbed from the Living Nightmare Dimension now flowed through my entire Soul at once.

I sensed massive structures forming one after another and vast quantities of Divine Essence flowing everywhere.

The previous Elemental Essences also became Divine, refined almost instantly. Nightmare, Death, Poison, Darkness, Shadows, Moon, Space, and Void—all the elements I had mastered now flowed as even richer quantities of these Elemental Essences, empowering my Soul.

Those outside didn't feel a thing, but I could certainly feel it all through my entire being…

"Mama, what's wrong?" Nyx asked, holding my hand as we walked to the Academy. "You look tired?"

"Oh? Do I? Well, yes, something's happening inside my Soul right now, but you don't need to worry about it, dear," I said, patting her head. "It's not serious."

"Huh…! Okay!" Nyx nodded cutely.

As I sighed in relief, I quickly noticed another barrage of System Notifications!

Oh wow, that's a lot of stuff! I had no idea I could go this far, though?! Supreme Authority?! So am I what Odin is to Yggdrasil? He claimed the strongest Authority and Divine Throne in that world, and he wields supreme power over it.

Just as he did, I could bring destruction to this world and its people, reshape entire continents and populations, summon monsters or perhaps even more people, and even divide my throne to share it with my family to create more gods.

I could probably do this for the inhabitants. If I made Cheng Xie, Artorias, Amelia, Alma, Sofia, Emily, and Martina gods and goddesses of Azure Star, they could gain enough power to protect it well.

But would they even want all that responsibility? They want to help their own world, but within the boundaries of what's humanly possible.

Perhaps granting them too much power would only increase their burdens, leaving less time for themselves and causing them to resent their roles or the world itself.

This is likely what happened to the Gods in Yggdrasil… I mean, the new Gods, Odin's family.

They had all become too corrupted, and according to Frigga, that wasn't always the case… She said her children were purer, with innocent and goodhearted desires and dreams.

But too much power corrupted them, and not only did they begin to despise mortals, but they also grew as hateful as Odin, who, according to Frigga, had become monstrously corrupted by the power he amassed.

Apparently, he wasn't such a jerk before arriving in Yggdrasil? Though I'm unsure, since the first thing he did upon reaching Yggdrasil was kill a titan and everything…

Whatever the case, Divine Thrones lose their influence once you leave the world… And I don't plan to leave a Soul Ego here, though.

However, I had considered leaving some Undead to watch over and communicate between me and this world. Perhaps some kind of Shadow Portal to also come here easily whenever we want. This could facilitate communication between worlds, and perhaps even the ability to trade resources and the like.
