Gabriel Howard, the black-haired boy Lucifer had fought in the tournament, stepped forward. His Aura of Darkness rapidly shaped into several crimson eyes, his Dream Weapon, the [Eyes From The Abyss], had continued to evolve through his intense training, and he felt like this was the moment for him to shine.

Junio Tribiño, though very nervous and afraid, was inspired by the director. Both were reserved girls who always did their best but were often shunned or ignored due to their natures… but now, as she held her Aqua Rapier Dream Weapon, Aquamarine was ready.

"Oh man… What the hell? The director… Damn it! Even if I didn't want to, I would feel like shit if I don't help…! Fine…!"

The white-haired Seraphin Heavenfallis stepped forward. His Dimensional Mirror Dream Weapon floated by his side, constantly dividing into many more that rotated. He wasn't that skilled at fighting, but his support might be the key to everyone's victory.

Yes, he was still a jerk and an asshole, and a troll at heart… but he was also a student who respected the director. Now, even he felt devastated, inspired to do good and fight for what he believed was right.

Her body blazed, encompassed by her powerful [Volcanic Armor], her mighty Dream Heart Weapon that held unprecedented power. After training since the tournament, it had only continued to evolve.

"I wonder where Cheng Xie is right now? He and Artorias simply moved on their own toward the city… They're the strongest students after Maria, so I'm sure they'll be alright but… I can't help but feel worried. Oh well, time to do my part… I'll protect everyone, director! I always admired you; you were our country's greatest hero!"

Katokawa stepped forward with pride and strength as a lady. She moved outside to face the Nightmare Monster wave alongside her classmates. Holding her Divine Spiritual Sakura Tree Branch Dream Weapon, she unleashed countless branches and roots everywhere. The director's Sakura petals seemed to merge with hers, empowering her further.

And although every star was stepping forward for their great battle for the future of the world, to show all the old-timers the might of the new generation… three of them faced a less kind fate. Their dreams were cut short before they could fully blossom, leaving them powerless.

"…I cannot fight; I have nothing. I lost my Dream Heart, and… what else can I do but watch hopelessly?"

Eduard Eustace, a tall, brown-skinned, white-haired giant of a man, looked at the scene with frustration. He was one of the victims of the island's incident, having died as his Dream Heart was eaten by a Nightmare Demon, but barely "revived" by Maria's efforts.

His original Dream Heart Weapon was [Stone Giant Armor]. He had used it against Emily in their match, showcasing the unmoving powerhouse he was, yet now he felt empty inside.

"Me neither… Pretty boy, where are you? I wish… I had my little spheres, if anything, with them I could at least do… or try to do something."

Katherine sighed, her cute face bearing a melancholic expression. She remembered Arthur, wondering where he could be in these dire times, when the world was now in peril.

"There's nothing we can do? Nothing at all…?"

Ming Lee sighed, watching the students walk away one by one. Those brave and strong enough decided to hold the front and protect the defenseless… despite her powerful Heavenly Clouds being strong and capable of protecting people, she was now hopeless and powerless.

Even though all three had been convinced to live on after seeing how happy their parents were to see them alive, not even caring that they had lost their Dream Hearts, they still felt frustrated.

Maria had told them that there was a way for them to regain their power but never had the time to help them regain it as she was now battling an eldritch horror under the planet's crust!

Without her guidance, they felt useless.
