Naturally, the girls were a bit… surprised. But it wasn't anything crazy either way. I mean, yeah that's just the powers I possess now, I might as well just tell them straight to the face what I can do.
It might make little sense in the context of this world and everything, but what's the point of holding that back? After that tournament and then the world where we were trapped, I learned the power of Dream Weapons and Nightmare Authorities could create almost anything.
So a power to upgrade Dream Weapons shouldn't be too far-fetched, especially because I am deemed as a super genius in the academy that is also the strongest, so I'm sure they'll swallow the pill eventually.
"It is a power I was able to figure out just recently, after our battle against the Nightmare Demons that trapped us inside of that Dream World, remember? When I came back and beat them down, I was able to awaken a new ability… Just like the abilities you girls just awakened!" I said, trying to combine a lie with the reality they experienced to sound more convincing.
"S-So that's how it is…" Emily nodded. "Still, evolving Dream Weapons? That's something not even modern technology that uses Dream Essence has achieved, Maria. I'm honestly surprised…"
"I've heard some people can develop new abilities and stuff from their Dream Weapons, and well, like I've done myself but… evolving one? I think it usually stays the same forever…" Alma said.
"Is it really true?" Sofia wondered.
"Such a power will EASILY revolutionize the entire world if it leaks out!" Said Martina. "Maria are you not lying to us?"
"I'm not lying, geez…" I sighed. "Look at my twin Dream Weapons, they evolved."
I showed them my weapons, which had indeed changed appearance from their original, simpler forms, the girls were slightly surprised… Well, Sofia and Alma were, who recalled my abilities and dream weapons very well, Emily and Martina though? They had little idea or simply didn't keep that inside their heads.
"I-It really changed? How?" Sofia wondered.
"Wow, the sword and the halberd look even more intimidating now…" Alma muttered.
"Yeah and they gained new powers and abilities," I nodded. "So? I think your Dream Weapons have accumulated enough Dream Power to evolve."
"Accumulated? How do you know that?" Emily asked.
"It's part of my new ability, I can tell when your weapons are ready," I explained. "You also need some materials, but I think I can procure them myself."
"O-Okay? So how do we do it?" Sofia asked. "I'll believe you for now."
"Yeah, how do we do it?" Emily wondered.
They seemed a bit more eager I guess. I nodded with a gentle smile and extended my open hands to them.
"Give me your Dream Weapons, I'll use my power on them."
Sofia and Emily looked at one another, confused.
"How do I even do that? My armor can only be summoned around my body!" Emily said.
"And I have a weird spirit thing, it isn't really a weapon anymore!" Sofia complained.
"Ah… Right, okay."
I nodded, as I quickly asked the System through a mind message.

Okay, I thought I had to get the thing into my hands.
"Alright let me see."
I touched the armor of Emily, and then…

I closed my eyes, pretending I wasn't reading that a second ago and then deciding to press [Yes] mentally.
I already had all materials inside my Inventory. Spirit Stones of most Elements were stashed inside my Inventory from all the Mining I've done in the Mountains near the Dwarven Kingdom.
Also we got plenty of scales from the Nightmaresaurs or the Kaiju, so that's also done… I'll use the Kaiju's scales to make the armor as hard as possible.
And lastly, I already got shells from the turtle nightmare beasts that we fought the other day, so we're practically done.
"Remain still Emily, this might take a little while."
"Eh? Okay… So I'm going first!"
She got excited, but as I told her, she remained still, looking at me with a poker face.
"Close your eyes…"
"Oh! Ok…"
She nodded, closing her eyes.
Much better, I didn't want to look at her eyes through the entire thing, it would have been kind of weird.

Once I pressed [Yes] all the required materials from my inventory disappeared, and I also felt some of my System Points being spent.
Emily's Armor absorbed all the floating materials, which turned into particles of darkness or lightning, and rapidly began to evolve.
Its form changed, from the bronze and black color it had, it became golden and purple, and gained many regal decorations.
The armor didn't look wild and strange anymore, with pointy bits and all, but it became much more regal in appearance, like the armor of a knight.
Once the entire armor was done, I felt relieved Emily wasn't crushed or something in the process…
"It's done… I think."
