The Yan Army soldiers echoed: "Yes! Exactly! Equally! It must be equal!"

The Zhou soldiers' anger flared up again, they rolled up their sleeves and cursed loudly: "Equal my ass! How many troops did we Zhou send out compared to your Yan Kingdom? Bai Jinzhi restrained her horse with one hand and held a long whip with the other, her face cold as she looked at the Zhou soldiers and Yan Army who were on the verge of fighting.

"What? We just barely defeated the Tianfeng Kingdom across the Danshui River, and you think we've won a great victory and are starting to fight amongst allied nations?" Bai Jinzhi's expression was cold, her voice authoritative and commanding.

Seeing it was Lord of Gaoyi, the Zhou soldiers gritted their teeth and sheathed their swords.

The Yan Army, seeing the Zhou soldiers had already sheathed their swords, put theirs away as well, still looking defiant. Yet, Lord of Gaoyi's reputation for destroying Liang was well known. Even though she was a woman, as soldiers, even the Yan soldiers had a natural respect for strong leaders.

Furthermore, Bai Jinzhi hadn't immediately sided with the Zhou upon arriving, but instead disciplined both sides, which made the Yan soldiers less resistant.

"The division of the spoils from this victory is being discussed between our Emperor and the Ninth Prince of Yan. Everything will be decided by the Emperor and the Ninth Prince. What are you fighting over here for?" Bai Jinzhi calmly retracted her whip and hung it behind her waist.

"Lord of Gaoyi!" The Yan soldiers saluted Bai Jinzhi. "Our Yan suffered heavy losses with the most soldiers dead. We aren't making unreasonable demands, just asking to equally divide the armor on these giant elephants. After all, in warfare, though it's a collaboration... Zhou still needs cooperation from our Yan Kingdom! Since it's a joint effort, it should naturally be shared equally! Especially since so many of our Yan soldiers have died."
