Rebirth of Nezha in the Investiture of the Gods

All one could see was flying clouds of red and gas of violet, blue lightning and green radiance, layer upon layer, dense and ominous, truly murderous in air, with sorrowful clouds hovering, so fierce indeed.

It is said that Tongtian Sect Hierarch led the immortals to the front of the formation. Laozi chuckled lightly, "Today will determine victory or defeat between us, and the Myriad Immortals face calamity. This is the consequence of your wavering nature."

Tongtian was enraged, "You four, watch how I act this time!"

Thus, he spurred on the Kui ox and swung his sword to strike. Laozi laughed and said, "I reckon your actions today will only be this! You cannot escape this fate!"

He urged his green ox forward, raised his cane, and quickly met the attack. Yuanshi Tianzun said to his left and right disciples, "Today, you all fulfill this vow and must enter the formation together to meet the Myriad Immortals of the Jie Sect, not to miss this opportunity."

His disciples, hearing these words, couldn't help but laugh, shouted loudly, and charged into the Myriad Immortals Formation.

Laozi sat atop the green ox, leaping back and forth; Tongtian Sect Hierarch galloped on the Kui ox, launching a fierce attack.

Jin Ling Saint Mother wielded the treasure sword in flight. Spiritual Treasure Grandmaster's face was as hot as fire; Wudang Saint Mother's anger soared to the sky. Taiyi Immortal was moved by his inner Samadhi; Pilu Immortal displayed his Divine Skills.

The True Master of Morality came to fulfill the slaughter vow; Yun Zhongzi's treasure sword arced like a rainbow.

Ju Liusun raised the Immortal Binding Rope; Golden Hoop Immortal attacked with a flying sword. In the formation, the jade chime clanged, and beneath the stage, the golden bell rang clearly.

Smoke and fog billowed from all directions, wild winds blew from all eight quarters. Everyone employed the art of evasion, knowledgeable in capsizing seas and shifting mountains.

Sword against sword, red light dazzling; weapon against treasure, auspicious air billowing. Thunder roared on the ground, and lightning clashed in midair.

Originally evenly matched, unexpectedly, Guang Chengzi wielded Yuanshi's Three Jade Ruyi, slashing down the Twenty-Eight Constellations, wiping out the Nine Luminaries in an instant.

Tongtian Sect Hierarch's spirit halved; Jin Ling Saint Mother's mouth murmured; Pilu Immortal lost his wits; Wudang Saint Mother trembled in fear.

At this moment, the Western Sect Hierarch arrived, raised the Qiankun Bag in the sky; those fated must enter early, those not are left to roam freely.

In a flash, clouds were gloomy and fog mournful, and soon the earth was dark and boundless. From now on, Tongtian was startled to the heart, a failure with a sense of shame.

It is said Laozi and Yuanshi charged into the Myriad Immortals Formation, enclosing Tongtian Sect Hierarch.

Jin Ling Saint Mother was surrounded by three great sages, their faces showing blue, red, white; displaying three heads with six arms, or eight heads with six arms, or three heads with eight arms, all parts of their bodies covered with golden lamps, white lotuses, treasure pearls, and intricate jewelry protecting them.

Jin Ling Saint Mother used the Jade Ruyi to fend off the three great sages for a long time, inadvertently dropping the golden crown from atop her head, scattering her hair as she fought fiercely.

But ultimately fell to Randeng's sneak attack, directly sending Jin Ling Saint Mother to the Investiture of the Gods with the Heaven Measuring Ruler.

Tongtian Sect Hierarch was distracted, unaware that Yuanshi Tianzun struck again with a Ruyi, hitting Tongtian Sect Hierarch's shoulder, nearly knocking him from the Kui ox.

Meanwhile, the Guide Daoist within the Myriad Immortals Formation opened the Qiankun Bag, collecting all the three thousand guests of red clouds — those fated to go to the Land of Ultimate Bliss all entered this bag.

Zhunti, along with Peacock Daming King, revealed thirty-four heads, eighteen hands, holding necklaces, canopies, flower garlands, fish intestines, golden bows, silver halberds, white halberds, flags, Blessing Divine Mallet, Treasure Chisel, silver bottles, and other items to fight Tongtian Sect Hierarch.

Laozi and Yuanshi saw Ding Guangxian, and asked, "You are a disciple of the Jie Sect, Ding Guangxian, why are you hiding here?"

Ding Guangxian knelt to the ground: "Honored Master Uncle: This disciple has sinned, and dares to report to Honored Master Uncle. My master refined the Six Souls Banner, wanting to harm both Honored Master Uncle and the Western Sect Hierarch, King Wu, and Ziya, and ordered the disciple to wield it. The disciple, seeing Honored Master Uncle's righteous path and clear reasoning, while my master was partial and unreasonable, causing this karmic hindrance, could not bear to employ it, thus hid it and concealed myself here. Now that Honored Master Uncle inquires, the disciple must confess truthfully."

Yuanshi laughed, "Strange! You dwell in the Jie Sect, yet your heart is for the righteous sect, you indeed have the makings."

He then ordered him to follow into the reed canopy. The four sect hierarchs sat down, discussing the distinctness of right and wrong today.

Laozi asked Ding Guangxian, "Can you bring the Six Souls Banner?" Ding Guangxian presented the banner.
