As he spoke, the little boy opened the lunch box, "Mom, are you hungry? Eat the noodles quickly."

"I'm not hungry." The woman's eyes reddened, and she touched the boy's hair with a heartache, while becoming even more vigilant, fearing that the two were child kidnappers.

Sensing the woman's wariness, Li Shiping said softly, "Sister, don't be afraid, we are not bad people. We just saw this little boy outside asking for food and felt sorry for him; and upon hearing that you were sick, we wanted to see if you needed any help."

Li Shiping had lived without worrying about food and drink since she was little, and the toughest times she had were those spent with Wan Dongcheng. However, compared to the woman's situation, her life was many times better.

While Li Shiping was emotionally moved, Ruan Yiqian remained much more composed. He had gone to many places doing business and knew there were many pitiable people in this world like this woman. They just hadn't seen them.
