"Swish!"

A stream of light drilled out from Sun Wukong's body, revealing the figure of Tian Lin.

"Daoist Ancestor!"

As soon as Tian Lin appeared, he bowed towards the Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor, who nodded in acknowledgment.

Shen Lang's eyes lit up; wasn't this the contracted divine beast of Sun Wukong, which appeared in the first assessment space during the Holy Book Academy test?

Could it be that it was he who brought them here?

Sun Wukong frowned, "It won't be easy to get there!"

"Wukong, have you noticed anything unusual?"

A peculiar glimmer flashed in Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor's eyes; he had always known Sun Wukong's insight well.

"The continent is shrouded in an extremely powerful formation, it's very mysterious, and I, Sun Wukong, can't see it clearly."

Sun Wukong slightly shook his head, "But it's clear that getting there won't be easy."

"I see..."

Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor pondered for a moment, then suddenly laughed, "Wukong, you've likely decided to go, haven't you?"

"Indeed, the Daoist Ancestor understands me! Tian Lin is my contracted divine beast partner, and since he says that place is calling him, it must be beneficial for him; perhaps it might even help him trace his roots and reclaim his foundation, so I, Sun Wukong, definitely can't ignore it!"

Sun Wukong nodded, then suddenly smirked, a cunning glimmer appearing at the corner of his mouth, "Besides, the more treacherous the place, the more treasures there are, right? We came here to hunt for treasures and opportunities, we can't miss such a chance!"

Shen Lang chuckled wickedly, his gaze towards the continent ahead filled with greed.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

Sun Wukong declared, reaching into his ear to pull out the Ruyi Golden-Hooped Rod, and flew from the cliff towards the direction of the continent.

Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor and the others followed closely behind.

"As long as we carefully avoid those floating islands, we shouldn't encounter those divine beast evil souls, right?"

Shen Lang looked at the roaring and howling divine beast evil souls on the floating islands and gulped.

This was his first time feeling such an evil aura, it sent chills down his spine.

"Not necessarily."

Tian Lin curled his lips, and just as he finished speaking, a stream of black gas suddenly shot out from one of the floating islands, aiming directly at Sun Wukong and the others, with its target being Shen Lang.

"Oh crap!"

Shen Lang yelped with fright and almost jumped up from the ground; the Purple Cloud Heart Flame surged from his body, and he instinctively punched towards the black gas.

"Fierce Fist, Heaven Shattering!"

The massive Fierce Fist formed by the Purple Cloud Heart Flame collided with the black gas, producing a piercing sound of impact and friction.

The next moment, an explosion erupted, the shockwave swept Shen Lang and the others away; fortunately, Sun Wukong and Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor were also swept away but remained unharmed.

"So strong!"

Shen Lang's face changed dramatically; he had seen clearly that the black gas had erupted from the skeletal remains of a massive divine beast on the floating island.

After the emergence of the black gas, an almost solid evil soul manifested from the bones, glaring at them with scarlet eyes.

"Well! Seems like there's no escaping even if we don't provoke them!"

Shen Lang shrugged helplessly.

"Since there's no escaping, there's no need to hide! Let's fight our way through!"

Sun Wukong's eyes glistened fiercely, and his Ruyi Golden-Hooped Rod moved, launching fiercely into the void ahead on the right.

With a muffled sound, a shadow was struck out of the void, revealing a divine beast evil soul!

It had stealthily crept so close in complete silence!

"What the hell! These guys are so treacherous!"

Shen Lang cried out, it seemed he had underestimated the situation; these weren't ordinary divine beast evil souls, they were not only ferocious but their spiritual wisdom didn't seem low either!

The crucial thing was that their strength didn't seem much weaker than when they were alive as divine beasts.

"Everyone, be careful!"

Sun Wukong left a word of caution, then the Ruyi Golden-Hooped Rod continuously lashed out at the attacking divine beast evil souls.

Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor also activated the Creation Jade Disc, three beams of Creation Divine Light shot forth, illuminating the three of them.

Immediately, Sun Wukong and Shen Lang felt their strength and speed surge significantly, showing looks of astonishment.

The surprise was brief; the priority was to deal with the immediate enemies.

The killing intent on Sun Wukong and Shen Lang's faces intensified as they launched fierce attacks on the divine beast evil souls.

Their destructive power was already considerable; with Creation Divine Light's amplification, it became even more formidable. Soon, the divine beast evil souls they faced were slain.

After slaying the divine beast evil souls, two crystal-like spheres floated down, grabbed by Sun Wukong and Shen Lang.

Sun Wukong's eyes lit up; absorbing ten or so of these would surely allow him to break through to the middle stage of the Earth Divine Realm!

Shen Lang examined the crystalline sphere in his hand with glittering eyes, this was the genuine expression of an excellent alchemist discovering great alchemy materials.

"Hmm, that's right, it seems we'll have to clear out these divine beast evil souls well to collect these crystalline spheres."

Sun Wukong nodded, then grinned mischievously,

"Come to think of it, we'd be restoring this place to purity! A place like this shouldn't be contaminated by such resurrected evil souls!"
