She went into the kitchen, while Su Baijin was outside. She wondered if he felt bored, but it was up to him, and he hadn't offered to come help in the kitchen either.
Qin Xiangnuan took out the fried meatballs she prepared, made braised meatballs, stir-fried vegetables, sautéed mushrooms, and stir-fried shredded potatoes. She set aside some of the dishes in the pot to keep warm, saving them for Jian Zhiqing, not knowing when he would return.

By the time it was past eight, the sky was already completely dark. Su Baijin was still waiting, showing no sign of leaving. Qin Xiangnuan realized she was determined to wait for Jian Zhiqing to return. But if it got too late, how would she go home?
"Mr. Su, it's quite late already. Are you still going to wait?" Qin Xiangnuan wanted to get into the system to review for tomorrow's lessons, but with Su Baijin there, she simply couldn't leave, nor could she enter the system.
