Chapter 4: The Path of Mastery
When the guard announced loudly, all the children living in the orphanage became excited and ran to the gate to see Ranveer. Smiling at them, Ranveer noticed that right behind them was the orphanage caretaker, Geeta Shrivastava, who looked quite concerned. She instructed the security guard to let Ranveer in and added, "I'll take his class today."
Geeta Shrivastava appeared furious and was undoubtedly planning to scold Ranveer harshly. She glanced at him with a mix of pity and worry before asking him to come inside. With a wry smile, Ranveer followed her, fully aware that there was nothing he could do to escape her impending reprimand. As he walked, he looked back at the children watching him and eventually entered Geeta Shrivastava's office, standing on the opposite side of her desk.
Ranveer casually greeted her, "Hey sweetheart, how are you?"
Seeing that Ranveer was attempting to flirt with her even in this serious situation, Geeta's anger flared. She said sternly, "How dare you get into a fight with that boy? Do you have any idea whose son he is? His father is the sole crime lord of this area in Pune. Even the police tremble in fear before him, and you went ahead and challenged his son? Do you understand the gravity of your actions? What you've done is unforgivable. People like us—weak and powerless—cannot stand up to the strong. Laws exist for the powerful, not for people like us. Do you think this orphanage can support you in times of trouble? No, we cannot. You need to realize that one must act within their limits. Stretching beyond what you can handle will only get you into more trouble."
Geeta took a deep breath, trying to calm herself, and continued, "Anyway, tell me how you managed to escape. From what I've heard, Rishi Saxena sent his men to deal with you, and they were armed. They were determined to kill you. How did you survive such a situation? I want to know everything."
Ranveer smirked and replied, "Sweetheart, do you really think your boyfriend is weak? It doesn't matter if they were armed or that they were Rishi Saxena's men. None of them were strong enough to stand against your boyfriend. So, don't worry about me, darling."
Seeing that Ranveer was trying to evade her questions and continue flirting, Geeta got angrier and shouted, "Ranveer, stop this nonsense and tell me the truth!"
Realizing she was serious, Ranveer took a deep breath and said, "It's true that Rishi Saxena sent his men after me. They even fired at me, and some bullets did graze me. But somehow, I survived. I can't share all the details because some things are a secret. Just know that your boyfriend is mind-blowing."
Once again, Ranveer ended his explanation by flirting. However, Geeta ignored his advances and said, "I'm relieved you're safe. Now go and get some rest."
Ranveer sighed in relief and thought to himself, *At least the interrogation is over. Time to finally rest.* But as he left, he couldn't resist teasing her one more time. "Sweetheart, I'm leaving now. Take care of yourself, and don't worry about me tonight. We'll meet again soon."
Geeta held her head in exasperation and muttered, "I don't know when this boy will ever change. He's always trying to flirt with me."
Geeta Shrivastava, a 42-year-old woman, was single. She had once been in a relationship, but during the AI rebellion against humanity, her boyfriend had been killed. Since then, she had never looked at anyone else. Ranveer, initially, flirted with her just to tease her. However, over time, he began to develop genuine feelings for her. Still, he hadn't confessed because he knew she wouldn't take him seriously, and he didn't want his love story to end before it even began.
Ranveer eventually reached his room, which was allotted exclusively to him—not as a special treatment from the orphanage, but because he often pranked and annoyed his peers. His mischievous nature had earned him the nickname "God of Mischief" at both the orphanage and his school. Despite this, Ranveer excelled academically, consistently securing first position in his class, which is why his expensive school in Pune provided him with a scholarship.
After entering his room, Ranveer sat on his bed and asked the system, "System, show me my profile."
A screen appeared before him, displaying:
**Name:** Ranveer Singh Chauhan
**Age:** 17 years, 08 months
**Power Level:** Warrior - Initial Stage
**Elements:**
- Water: 1/100
- Air: 0/100
- Earth: 0/100
- Fire: 0/100
- Space: 0/100
**Other Skills:**
- Telepathy: Not Awakened
- Telekinesis: Not Awakened
**Dimensions:** 0/10
Seeing this, Ranveer asked, "System, why am I only at 1% in the water element when you said I had reached the Partial Stage?"
The system responded, "While you have reached the Partial Stage, your control over the water element is still minimal. You cannot yet use it for offense or defense. Imagine having a weapon but being unable to wield it effectively. To master the water element, you need practice and a stronger grasp of its capabilities. For example, have you ever seen water cut through diamond?"
Ranveer replied, "Yes, water under high pressure can cut even the toughest materials."
The system displayed a video of a diamond being sliced by a fine stream of water under immense pressure. It explained, "This is the potential of water. If you achieve such mastery, you could decapitate someone with just water. Furthermore, do you recall an old Hollywood movie where a whirlpool killed a man during a ritual? That's another example of water's destructive power."
The system concluded, "You have much to learn. Mastering water to such an extent will only bring you to 5% mastery by my omniverse-level standards. Remember, my benchmarks are incredibly high. However, you've unlocked a special dimension. If you train there, you might accelerate your progress and even acquire an additional weapon. Within the dimension lies a Meditation Tower that can significantly enhance your cultivation. I recommend you go there and begin your training."
Not only that, but time in that dimension flows differently. One hour in the real world equals ten hours there. This means that if you spend one hour here, you will have already spent ten hours training in that dimension. This advantage will significantly accelerate your cultivation progress, making you stronger at a much faster pace.
That *Sadhna Tower* is not an ordinary tower; it was specifically designed by the system for its host. The spiritual energy inside the tower is far greater than in the outside world, offering practitioners immense benefits and enhancing their growth manifold. The system encouraged Ranveer to not delay further and start his training there immediately, as it would prepare him to face the impending dangers threatening the planet.
Ranveer agreed and entered the dimension. The dimension appeared to be 100 meters long and 100 meters wide, but in reality, it was a circular space. The system had provided the dimensions in this way for simplicity. Despite its compact size, the dimension was stunning. There were five to seven trees bearing radiant fruits, which seemed almost magical.
Ranveer asked the system about these fruits, to which the system replied,
"These fruits are not for you yet; just know that. When the time comes, they will help you earn wealth, but for now, focus on your training. You will need to reach at least the peak of the *Warrior Level* before I explain their significance to you. Only then will you be able to utilize them. Now, stop wasting time and focus on the *Sadhna Tower*."
Acknowledging the system's advice, Ranveer turned his attention to the *Sadhna Tower* and entered. Inside, he saw that the tower had nine floors. Curious, he asked the system about it. The system explained,
"On the first floor, you can train up to the *Planet Level*. Each subsequent floor corresponds to higher levels of cultivation, eventually reaching the *Galactic Level*, and so on. The final floor is where one trains to become an *Omniversal Warrior*. For now, this is all you need to know. The rest will reveal itself to you when the time is right."
Ranveer began his training without hesitation, ready to push himself to new limits.
