RAIDS ONLINE: RAGNAROK BEAST

SilverPup once again expresses her envy and jealousy of EeveE, the strongest player of RAIDS ONLINE she has ever seen.

Luel grabs SilverPup's hand, who has stopped running, to look back at EeveE.

"Let's get out of here, SilverPup."

Luel continues to drag SilverPup while they are running on top of the crumbling wall, followed by the remaining members of Orion Guild and other RAIDS ONLINE players.

After reaching hundreds of meters distance away from the battlefield, that's is when Luel stops running to look back and watch the fight between EeveE against Hanzaki, Fafnir, and Orochi.

"Devour Nine-tailed Beast - FIAMMA!!!..."

EeveE used the ultimate skill of the Devour Nine-tailed Beast Class and took the form of a 25-meter class seven-tailed golden flame fox.

The concept of the Devour Beast's ultimate skill was only explained to EeveE once by BlueHeroine yet EeveE was able to use it not only because of her high-starting Link Force but also because of her natural talent as a RAIDS ONLINE player.

However, even though EeveE can be called the strongest player, winning against three high-ranking Ragnarok Beasts is still impossible. As Eevee refuses to accept.

It is a three-on-one match. To try and even the fight, EeveE started with an initial strike.

"...ROOAAARRRRR!!!..."

EeveE's roar, which can be heard even where Luel, SilverPup, and everyone else has escaped, activates her Flash Fire Skill. It ignited the air within the battlefield and caused a large explosion of flame that swallowed the three high-ranking Ragnarok Beasts.

...BOOOMMMMM!!!...

Unable to hide from the explosion of flame, the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast Hanzaki was burned alive, with its skin turned to ash and its flesh into charcoal. The giant salamander Ragnarok Beast is on its last breath with just a single strike for it to be defeated.

EeveE moves to finish and devour Hanzaki. Her golden flame fox form glides as if running mid-air. But at the moment when EeveE reaches Hanzaki, right before she can deliver the finishing strike, the Rank B Ragnarok Beast Fafnir appears right in front of her.

The 25-meter class fire drake Ragnarok Beast survives EeveE's Flash Fire Skill with its blackened gold scales. It didn't even suffer any burn yet some of its scale has been melted by EeveE's flame.

Fafnir stands between EeveE and Hanzaki. Not to protect Hanzaki from EeveE but just to make fun of EeveE by denying her of killing and devouring Hanzaki.

Seeing the smug smirk plastered all over Fafnir's face, EeveE once again felt annoyed by the fire drake Ragnarok Beast.

"...ROOAAARRRRR!!!..."

EeveE activates her Wildfire Skill, drowning the entire battlefield into a sea of flame. It should have been enough to finish Hanzaki, but Fafnir interfered again.

Fafnir uses its famous lava breath, creating a field of lava in front of it and stopping EeveE's flame from spreading and reaching Hanzaki and itself.

...If you're so determined to get in my way, then I take you down first!...

EeveE stops attacking with her flame and makes a swift dash towards Fafnir. Her Devour Beast Class shouldn't be fighting in close-quarter combat, but her enhanced superhuman strength made her confident to do so.

It only took a blink of an eye for EeveE to reach Fafnir. With the wide mouth of her Devour Beast form, EeveE bit the fire drake's neck.

She doesn't have the strength of the Devour Moonlight Beast Orion's Fangs to tear apart its opponent's body with their fangs, but EeveE's enhanced superhuman strength made her fangs pierce Fafnir's blackened gold scales and slowly tear apart its neck. Yet Fafnir's smug smirk in its face remains the same.

...SCREECHHHH!!!...

...BOOOMMMMM!!!...

Before EeveE can tear apart half of Fafnir's neck, Orochi finally decides to interfere. The 40-meter class eight-headed snake attacked with multiple lightning strikes from one of its heads.

...ARGH!!! You are faqing snake!...

EeveE got hit by multiple lightning strikes and was knocked down away from Fafnir and Hanzaki. The golden flame body of her seven-tailed fox was also scorched by the lightning attribute, making EeveE suffer in pain.

While EeveE is still trying to get back on her feet with her Devour Nine-tailed Beast Form, Orochi continues with its restless attacks from its eight heads.

After the lightning strike, Orochi follows up with a flame burst attack from one of its heads.

...You think your weak flame can do something to me?!...

EeveE accepted Orochi's challenge of a battle with flame against flame. Using her Flare Skill, EeveE releases the same flame burst that collides with Orochi's.

Even with only a Link Force of 57 percent and an incomplete Devour Nine-tailed Beast Form of seven-tailed, EeveE managed to stand her ground against the Rank A Ragnarok Beast Orochi. However, Orochi never intended to fight with only flame against flame.

...BOOMMM!!!...

One of Orochi's head attacks EeveE with a water blast, and the other uses multiple wind blades.

...ARRGHHHH!!!...

The water blast weakened EeveE's defense, making the wind blades pass through her golden flame aura and cut the body of her Devour Beast Form.

With all the injuries she has taken, EeveE tries to distance herself from her opponents, yet Orochi doesn't give EeveE a chance to run away.

...SCREECHHHH!!!...

One of Orochi's heads releases multiple ice spears, and the other one releases multiple rock spears.

Both sets of spears pierce EeveE's body, pinning her down on the ground, unable to move anymore.

...So this is it...

As EeveE thought, unable to run away and escape, unable to move and fight back, unable to resist to fate that the Boss Raid has set for her right from the start.

To be used as bait and be eaten by high-ranking Ragnarok Beasts.

EeveE is expecting Orochi to deal with the final strike and finish her. But to her surprise, it was the Rank B Ragnarok Beast Fafnir that stood in front of her.

While looking at EeveE's Devour Nine-tailed Beast Form impaled by rock and ice spears on the ground, Fafnir once again looks at EeveE with its smug smirk as it tells her how weak she is.

EeveE somehow understands what Fafnir means, and that doesn't only give her annoyance. In fact, Eevee feels mocked, insulted, and humiliated.

...YOU FAQING LIZARD!!! I'M GONNA MAKE SURE THAT ONE DAY YOU WILL ALL BE GRILLED BY MY FLAME!!!...

...ROOAAARRRRR!!!...

Fafnir ends the fight by burning EeveE with its lava breath.

"So even YuriB* can't with against two high-ranking Ragnarok Beasts on her own."

SilverPup still feels envious and jealous of EeveE, but the look she's giving after seeing how EeveE got killed at least shows some sympathy.

"As if anyone can, SilverPup!"

Luel, on the other hand, feels terrified at the thought of all the pain EeveE has to suffer while fighting on her own.

After gaining a bit more distance away from the battlefield, Luel, SilverPup, and all the remaining players who participated in Boss Raid logout, ending the first phase of the Boss Raid against The Rank B Ragnarok Beast Fafnir and Rank A Ragnarok Beast Orochi.
