RAIDS ONLINE: RAGNAROK BEAST

Rammie drops the bag of clothes that she's carrying due to surprise upon seeing Luel, who's already awake and sitting on his bed. She slowly approaches Luel while holding back her tears. But instead of giving Luel a hug when she made it beside his bed...

...SLAP!...

"That's for making me worry, you idiot!"

Instead of embracing Luel like Amy did, Rammie went for a slap, which is kind of hurtful, straight to Luel's face.

"Wait! What are you doing, Rammie?!"

Amy caught Rammie's right hand and stopped her from throwing another slap.

Luel, on the other hand, understands that he deserves that slap and probably even more. After all...

"Do you know how I felt while driving you to the hospital, thinking that I wouldn't be able to reach the hospital before you die in the back seat of the car?!"

Luel didn't die, much less, there's nothing wrong with his body. He might have suffered physical pain due to his fear of seeing Amy getting killed in his nightmare, but he only lost consciousness due to shock.

However, it doesn't change the fact that Amy and Rammie thought something bad happened to him when he collapsed. Along with the fact that Rammie, who's completely aware of Luel's poor health condition, suffers in fear, thinking that Luel might die at any moment while driving towards the hospital.

If this incident happened a few days ago, Luel would definitely consider quitting RAIDS ONLINE. Amy won't opposed to that idea once she learns about Luel's poor health condition. But now that Luel experienced the Player's Nightmare and saw Amy getting killed, there's no way he could quit RAIDS ONLINE without knowing the truth behind his nightmare.

"I'm sorry, Rammie. But I can't quit right now..."

"Why?..."

Luel didn't bother answering or explaining anything to Rammie. After all, there's no way Rammie would believe what he saw in his nightmare.

Without hearing any reply from Luel or even from Amy, Rammie just let out the tears that she was holding and burst out crying due to relief that nothing bad had happened to Luel.

It took another whole day of monitoring before Luel got the approval of the doctors to be discharged.

Thankfully, nothing bad indeed happened to Luel. His body is more healthy compared to the details of his previous check-up that is recorded in his health monitoring device. Even his heart is more stable, and he doesn't have any complications due to his recent anxiety and panic attacks.

"I guess having a beautiful wife can really heal a man's body and heart."

"You're definitely right, doc."

"Hahaha..."

Unknown to Amy, who was looking after Luel for three days at the hospital, and Luel, who remained asleep for two days, Rammie introduced the two as soon-to-be-married husband and wife to the doctors and nurses.

Luel and Amy wanted to complain about Rammie's teasing behavior. But since they still owe her for not telling her their reason for continue playing RAIDS ONLINE even though Luel suffered such an incident, the two just decided to set aside their complain.

After the playful teasing of the doctors and nurses, Luel, Amy, and Rammie leave the hospital and go back home.

"Welcome back, Big Sister!"

When Luel, Amy, and Rammie get back home, they find Ram and Mie, along with Rammie's husband, already waiting for them with a welcome party. However, the three are not the only ones waiting for Luel and Amy.

As soon as Luel and Amy step inside the house, Ram and Mie grab their hands and pull them towards the living room. The twins made Luel and Amy sit on the couch beside each other with Ram also sitting on Luel's left side and Mie sitting on Amy's right side.

Once Luel and Amy have been trapped and restrained by the twins on the couch in front of the TV, Rammie grabs the remote to start the TV or, rather, the face-to-face video call.

"Ohh my... Is that Ram and Mie? They already grown that much?"

"And who's the beautiful lady sitting beside you, son?"

On the TV screen are Luel's parents. And on the couch are Luel and Amy glaring at Rammie, asking for an explanation of what's happening.

...Now try to explain your relationship to Luel's parents with the twins sitting beside both of you...

That's what Luel and Amy could figure out from Rammie, who's just smiling beside her husband.

Luel remembers that Rammie told him once that she would call his parents, who are currently traveling abroad, if he ever had another anxiety and panic attack. But he didn't think that she would do what she said while Amy was around.

"She's definitely getting back to us..."

"What are we going to do, Luel..."

Luel and Amy can only whisper at each other, and their action really gets the attention of Luel's parents.

"Do you remember us, Ram, Mie?"

Since her son is not answering their question, his mother diverts her question to the twins.

"Mom said you're Fluffy Hair Uncle's parents."

"Mhm!... You're our other Grandma and Grandpa."

"Then can you tell Grandpa and Grandma, who's the beautiful lady sitting beside Fluffy Hair Uncle?"

The father has cornered his son in just two moves. And Luel and Amy can see what is about to happen next.

"Big Sister is Fluffy Hair Uncle's wife!"

"Mhm!... Real wife with hug and kiss!"

Unless they want Amy to be hated by the twins, Luel and Amy can't deny what Ram and Mie said.

"I wonder why we didn't get invited to the wedding, right dear?"

"How dare you get married to a beautiful lady without telling us first, Luel!"

Luel's mother is definitely mad behind her gentle voice and smile, and his father is clearly playing along while overreacting.

After acting as a lovey-dovey couple in front of Luel's parents for more than an hour just so Ram and Mie wouldn't get suspicious about their relationship, Luel and Amy were finally spared as the video call ended.

However, later that day, Luel has to call his parents once again to explain to them the real relationship between him and Amy.
