Ascended creatures have 25 yellow soul fragments and have a 1 in 10 000 chance of gaining an ability upon evolution

They can also gain a new ability if they had one as an evolved

They need 30 to 50 years of absorbing mana or devouring 50 to 75 soul fragments in order to evolve into an ascended creature
