Protoganist's Sidekick Fights Back

Su Kang will explain his situation to the spirit then he will wait for his answer. After coming back, he went to his cultivation room. Set up array formation so that others could not disturb him.

He took out the fragment and started to explain his situation. After listening to everything that spirit was silent for some time. Then he replied " Under normal circumstances, you were not supposed to die this early. I can feel the power of destiny. Power of destiny is gathering in that direction. This is creating misfortune for others and good luck for some"

Even the spirit is troubled by this situation. Although it did not know anything about this world in the beginning. But after observing this world for so long, he Instinctively came to know know many things.

He can't directly plunder the power of destiny for it's own use. He can only hide from being noticed by Heavenly Dao.

Su Kang looked at the direction pointed by fragment's motion and immediately thought of Qingyun sect.

The only person he can think in this situation is Li fang.

He thought about his Li fang's lucky encounters and rise. Destiny is something that a lot of cultivators know about but don't know how it works in the world. Since this fragment knows a lot about it, he should ask for ways to collect more destiny.

" I will tell you my thoughts about him first" Su Kang then explained everything about Li fang and his theory of 'child of destiny' about him.

" That's probably true, but I have to see him to confirm this" replied the spirit after thinking about Su kang's words.

" Give me some of your blood essence" said the artifact after thinking about something.

Su Kang didn't hesitated and started taking his essence blood.

He was the fragment was floating in the air. It started to glow with golden light. Then it said " Now drop your blood"

Su Kang followed it's instruction and gave his blood essence.

After dropping few drops of his blood essence, he can feel the connection between his soul and the fragment getting stronger.

He is now waiting for this process to finish. Few hours later, everything is over. Now he can feel connection between his soul and the fragment is a lot stronger than before.

He is waiting for artifact to explain this situation now. He knows that despite being stronger connection between the two, he is still not the owner of this fragment. He didn't refined this artifact yet.

" Now I can hide inside your spiritual consciousness. I can also help you to plunder the power of destiny from others but we can only indirectly do this. We can not change overall result, small changes and variables are fine as long as end result is pretty much same"

" Your soul was able to hide from the world because of my power until you were successfully born in this realm. So this world took you as it's own inhabitant. When my power was used to show you most probable future your soul was affected as well. In this process you gained access to memory of your last life as well. "

" Now I will help you get power of destiny without being noticed by this world. I will take some power of destiny from you as a token for my helping you" the spirit replied in low voice. He didn't hide anything from Su Kang.

Since he was not able to gather power of destiny directly from the world. He will take it from people who had this power. He can not take it directly from peoples so he will take it indirectly in some small amounts.

If he started plundering so much power of destiny from these peoples, then world will notice take notice of this. Heavenly Dao can ignore some small variables as long as overall result is same. As long they didn't messed up everything.

Su Kang is happy to hear this. He didn't understand power of destiny clearly. He is not even sure if he can do anything with that power but as long he has this fragment then he will figure something out with it.

As for how they can take it indirectly from Li Fang is not something he is clear about it now.

when he will meet Li fang. He has to go to sect tommorow. He is going to refuse this trip to Central plains. As for how he is gonna refuse them, he will think about this tonight.

" How are we going to steal destiny?" Su Kang asked.

" It's better to have good relationship with them. People around such persons also benefits from good luck. Being friends with them is beneficial, of course having blood ties is the best way, being their partner is also a good way. " My suggestion is that you should win her heart. Becoming her husband will damage the destiny of Li Fang and in this way we can plunder some of his destiny without doing anything directly related to him" said the spirit.

" Get close enough to marry Li fang's mother, in this way we can damage his destiny and got some power of destiny as well " muttered Su Kang himself.
