Dong Yue was confused about his sudden change in thoughts. She asked him " Why did you change your decision ?"
Su Kang replied " I am planning to wait and master Pill formation super natural powers before going to any big journey".
His mother was relieved to hear this.
She was shocked to hear news that his son was going to participate in war between orthodox cultivator and demon cultivator. He was going with his friends from Qingyun sect. His aim was to get merit and get recognition from Heavenly sword sect.
" Your father will be happy to know this" she replied.
In his last life, they hastily left for journey. They lost their fellow sect disciples before reaching their destination.
They were in a hurry because Li fang was trying to join Heavenly sword sect sooner instead of waiting for next sect recruitment exam 2 years later.
At the beginning Su Kang was confused why he was in such a hurry. Only after joining heavenly sword sect did he come know the reason behind this hurry. Li fang once a met mysterious beauty during his adventures. Somehow they ended up making a bet. If he could find her within three year period, she will help him one time with her capacity.

Su family has branch in this city for family members who joined Qingyun sect. Liyun city is the place their industry is set up and that is place where his ancestor and parents mostly stay.
His mother is helping family to manage resources and expand so she doesn't live in Qingyun city except some special summons.
" I will be visiting soon" said Su Kang.
"Hmm, good", "Ting'er will be happy about this" Dong Yue said.
Su Ting is his younger brother.
"Do not tell him about this, I will surprise him" Su Kang said with smile.
His brother is six year younger than himself.
They used to live in Qingyun city together but after his mother failed to break through Pill formation, she started focusing in family industry.
She thought that she wasted hard earned elixir for pill formation on herself. That's why she is working hard to repay that loss.
After that he was only able to spend a little with his brother.
Su Kang was reminiscing with his mother about past.

Su Kang left Tea room after a long time.
His mother was looking at his back and thinking something. When she entered the room, she saw some inexplicable emotions in su kang's eyes.
She is feeling that her son grew a lot in one night. He face did not have that care free smile again. She did not try to pry into her matter of her son. But she was concerned about well being. What happened to him which can suddenly bring so much change in one day
"I will be having a discussion about this with my husband" she thought.

Su Kang was walking in the family hall, trained ground etc. He was talking and asking about their cultivation. Su family usually avoids internal conflicts. Their numbers are smaller compared to other pill formation families, so members of su family are united and always avoids unnecessary conflicts.
Su Kang was happy to see them again. These people were tortured and killed by demon cultivators so when he saw them talking and laughing, his heart feels a lot lighter compared to before.
He was going towards outside when he saw a group of people entering through gate. 2 men and 2 girls were coming towards him.
He smiled and greeted towards them
" Cousins, what are you doing here?"
They were his cousins. Su kang's grandfather had 3 sons. His father is second, his eldest uncle is family head meanwhile youngest uncle is responsible family business.
" We are here to report aunt and ask about future planning of family" light bronze skin colored man replied. His eyes has dark brown colour with a mix of light yellow in them. He has short brown hair with golden coloured piercing in his ears. He is the son of eldest uncle. His name is Su Lang. He is 30 years old.
Next to him is the son of youngest uncle Su Cheng. Su Cheng has light white skin with charming face with carefee smile. He has longer black hair.
"oh, anything serious?" I asked casually.
"No, it's just usual reporting and meeting" replied su lang .
" Brother Kang, are you leaving for central plains?" asked a 18-19 years old girl.
She is youngest daughter of eldest family head and sister of Su Lang.
Her name is Su Ruyi. Next to her is sister of Su Cheng with big almond shaped eyes. She is beautiful and charming. Both of girls were interested in alchemy. Qingyun sect has better techniques and alchemy inheritance so both of them decided to join Qingyun sect for recognition.
As for Su Lang and Su Cheng, they were placed in Qingyun sect to make better connection and training their family management skills.
"No, right now I am not planning to leave Jiang state" said Su Kang.
" Really, but we heard rumours that you will leave soon" asked Su Cheng with confusion.
" I was planning about it but now I have decided to stay longer" said Su kang with smile.
" Oh, that's good. We were worried when we thought you will join war against demon cultivators" said Su Ruyi. Next to her Su Ying also nodded her head with warm smile.
Since there living in same family compound. After cultivation and sect mission, they used to look after family business inside the city. So they met each a lot and has good relationship with each other.
After hearing about su kang's news they were worried about his safety.
Even heavenly sword sect didn't send their own disciples. They were afraid of escalation of this war. Those demon cultivators were backed up behemoth like sky demon sect. Sky demon sect is a powerhouse of same level as heavenly sword sect. They have a lot influence in southern region and they control many states under them.
Although this war was not started by Sky demon sect but for sake precaution heavenly sword sect didn't send it's disciples.
Although everyone knows about this but they can't stop their ambition after looking at treasure of Heavenly sword sect. After all Jiang state lacks resources to cultivate Nascent soul cultivators so they have to look for resources and treasure for future cultivation.
Su Kang talked to group for a few minutes then greeted and left compound of Su family.
As he left his family compound, he walked towards Qingyun sect.
