Protoganist's Sidekick Fights Back

After returning to the courtyard, he saw Bai Yunxi sitting near the table with a gloomy expression and tears in her eyes. She has not noticed his presence yet.

He decided to conceal his presence and suddenly appeared behind her.

He said in low and comforting voice,

" Madam, you do not have to worry about him. He will be fine. "

Suddenly hearing unknown voice coming from back, Bai Yunxi was frightened at first then seeing Su Kang standing behind her, she calmed down.

" You, why are suddenly here? You should have said something when you entered?" She said with a little anger on her gloomy face.

Bai Yunxi is taken aback after hearing this. She did not know what to say.

Su Kang again spoke in comforting low voice " Madam, don't worry. They are going to just wander around. "

" Hmm, I know. I was just feeling a little down." Bai Yunxi didn't want to appear weak and sentimental in front of her son's friend.

" As long as you are fine, that's good. We have to leave Qingyun sect. I will go and inform the sect master now. We will leave tonight. " said Su Kang.

Bai Yunxi agreed and Su Kang left the courtyard. Su Kang first went to main peak of the sect and left a message for sect master.

Then he left the main peak and went to artifact refining pavilion. There he saw a man in charge, greeted him and said " I want a spiritual boat. "

That person greeted him and went inside the pavilion. Soon an inner elder of came with him.

" Young master Su, come this way. " The elder is very polite to him. After all, Su Kang is very famous in the sect. He is already a pill formation cultivator meanwhile the elder is still a foundation building cultivator.

Su Kang followed him. They went towards upper floor of the pavillion.

Su Kang said " I want a spiritual boat that is focused on the comfort and with a cabin on the boat equipped with concealment array. I can compromise on the speed but nothing else ."

He was buying this spiritual boat because of Bai Yunxi. He didn't want anyone to see him leaving with her.

He didn't want her be noticed by others in the sect. Bai Yunxi is just at peak of Qi refining period. So he doesn't want her be uncomfortable. Since he didn't any suitable spirit boat for her, then he will buy this for her.

After listening the requirements of Su Kang, the elder nodded and started to show him one after another.

Su Kang bought a spiritual boat with decorated cabin and it's big enough for two people. Although it's speed is not fast as compared to other spiritual boats but Su Kang didn't want speed. He wanted to spend more time with Bai Yunxi in the journey.

Su Kang returned back to Bai Yunxi's courtyard. He did not see her in the outside. She is inside the building. He called her and informed her about his plan. They will be leaving tonight and right now is half past noon. They have a lot of free time in their hands.

Bai Yunxi invited him inside. Su Kang started to talk to her.

" Madam, how are you feeling?"

" Ah, I am okay. " Bai Yunxi is surprised by this sudden question. She thought she was good at hiding her emotions but she is embarassed right now. Since even a junior is worried about her, she thought she didn't look good. But she is not aware that her face is not gloomy anymore but it's Su Kang who is trying to please her.

" Then let's about something else now. Your gloomy expression is eating your beauty. " Su tried to change the topic.

" Who is a beauty? Aunty is not young anymore to be fooled by your sweet words " Bai Yunxi said in reprimanding tone. But she didn't mind his words and thought that he is doing this to make her feel better.

Bai Yunxi's eyes caught his expression. She understood that he is hiding something but she didn't know the reason. He is giving her a familiar feeling but she hasn't grasped it yet.

Meanwhile Su Kang intensionally passed this remarks. He is making her to dig deeper into this intentionally.

Their talks continued for a long time until they realised time. It's time to leave Qingyun sect. Sky is already getting darker, Bai is already prepared everything.

Su Kang is standing in the courtyard with Bai yunxi. He took out the spiritual boat that he bought for her.

He suddenly hold Bai Yunxi's waist and flew towards the cabin. She can not fly so he took this opportunity to hold her.

Bai yunxi frowned at this but didn't speak. Again getting on the boat, he started the concealment array and took Bai yunxi inside the cabin.

Inside the cabin is spacious with elegant looking style. Bai yunxi looked at this scene with marvelously. She came to Qingyun sect in the spiritual boat as well, but this one is luxurious and focused on the comfort.

Su Kang said, " You can choose any room for rest, we will arrive at the Qingyun city in one hour."

Su Kang will stay in Su family branch for some time. After a few days he will be leaving for Liyun city with Bai Yunxi.
