Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

For Murphy and Gray, the most appealing thing about this bookshelf was that it was surrounded by numerous bookshelves naming different things regarding Curses.

There were shelves with books about understanding them, how to perform them, what they were, and so on. But in the middle of all those was one solitary shelf that housed only three types of books, with dozens of copies each. Moreover, these books didn't seem to have an author, or at least it wasn't specified on the cover of the book.

That would naturally attract their attention.

But Matthew was looking at something else.

He didn't hesitate to move forward and grab the first book. He had seen that name a short time ago.

Seeing Matthew grab that one, Gray and Murphy were somehow tempted to grab it, too.

Matthew paid no attention to them. He focused his attention on the book.

'If I'm not mistaken, this book must be concerning my father.' He thought.

He immediately opened it without wasting any time.

On the other side of the cover, there was a blank page with only a few words in the middle.

-Your love for Dietrich will pay off.

'This again? Now that I remember, I have to read Volume 2 of that thing... I'd forgotten about it.' He thought. Still, it was curious to find these words that appeared in Dietrich's Road book again.

That's why he couldn't help but open the next pages.

What was before him was not just any story.

Or, rather, it was a part of a Biography, perhaps.

-The Father of Power.

Everyone in this world must agree on one thing: there is only one man capable of receiving that name: The Great Dietrich or 'The Dietrich'. Experience more on empire

Someone without a name? Maybe. But it is much more than that.

The Power System of this world is amazingly precise but strangely linear. It has always been and may never cease to be, as it was possibly born with the universe. The first inhabitants called this System the numerical Power System because of what it implies.

Still, was that all? Is the Power System really so linear?

History showed us that, yes, the Power System is linear. But it is not that simple.

The simplicity that everyone boasted of understanding ended when an enigmatic man appeared, whose wisdom was so great that he could unlock the secrets of the universe.

The Father of Power, The Dietrich.

He caused a gigantic revolution in the world and in their understanding of the System of Power when he unraveled the secrets rooted in its Core: the Four Universal Laws.

Four Paths opened the doors for a System that seemed linear to become complicated, extensive, and extremely important.

Thanks to that, what was once called The Peak of Power now becomes The First Step.

Thanks to the Father of Power, the System of Power grew and became enigmatic, losing its linearity.

Thanks to him, each one of the existing Races in this world now has an extensive and detailed Power System. But nothing compared to the genius he achieved in his own race.

The extensive and tedious that the other races have not been able to find a way to solve, he summed it up in 8 Principles.

Dietrich's 8 Principles.

-'Control yourself' is your duty.

-'Deceive him' is your mission to 'Control' him, which is your goal.

-'Deceiving' the World so that they believe your tricks, is what you want, because then you will be able to 'Perceive' them wherever they are.

-'Perception' is what your eyes see and what your soul feels.

-When 'Destruction' is your focus, you can match the Universe.

-An Unlimited Universe can equal the Unlimited Destruction you can visualize.

8 Principles which are only a perception of the World and its 4 Universal Paths; they have no numerical order.

The World's Power Systems were born from this perception of the 4 Paths.

The Importance of the Father of Power deepened, but they could never match his mastery.

Why is this so? Why is the effectiveness of the Vampires so high in their understanding of the Universal Paths? The basis lies in the simplicity and ideal division created by their creator in the Power System used by that race.

Even I, someone who has entered the 'World of Dietrich', still do not understand it thoroughly. But he once said: The whole Basis is in the First Step.

The 150,000 of Power.

Matthew frowned as he finished reading the book. Each thing he learned about his father surpassed the last.

He was no longer just the man who destroyed the sun. He was now literally the one who 'created', though not directly, the Power System this world had.

'That man was amazing.' He thought.

That book was not excessively long, so he finished reading it in a moment.

He couldn't help but look at the second book and quickly grab it.

He did not notice the astonished and shocked expressions of the two powerful men beside him.

The second book, The Broad Behind the 150,000 Barrier: The First Step, started with the same blank page and the same saying as before.

But this one was about something different.

It was a glimpse of what a person would encounter when they took the step to reach 150,000 Power.

-Immortality.

Perhaps that is what attracts the most vampires who want to reach 150,000 Power. After all, there are rumors that behind that amount of power, that is what lies behind it.

Who wouldn't want to be immortal? Who wouldn't want to live forever?

But reality is harsh for those who believe in unsubstantiated rumors.

There is no immortality behind the 150,000 of Power.

It is simply where you begin to live and understand the true meaning of 'Power'.

Yes, you will live longer. But those are just side effects, and it doesn't mean you won't die. Even gods die; who do you think you are not to die?

Still, if you want me to answer if immortality exists... Yes, it does. And it is possible to have it.

Or it was, a long time ago.

But it is no longer possible.

The 150,000 Power is just that: First Step to Power: Your First Step to Greatness.

Our Vampire Power System has many names, but the one I like to use the most is: The Path to Greatness.
