Chapter 451: New Classmate (Part 2)

Unlike Lu Wanting's tossing and turning, Zhou Yuwen had mostly forgotten about what happened earlier once he returned to the room, where only Su Qing was sleeping on a large round bed.

Covered with a blanket, she looked a little cold.

Zhou Yuwen went over and hugged Su Qing, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Su Qing woke up groggily and asked him, "Why are you back so late?"

"I took a little detour to the luxury stores and bought some gifts for you and Yanyan," Zhou Yuwen replied.

Su Qing seemed genuinely exhausted, her eyes heavy with sleep, but upon hearing this, she snorted and said, "You never forget Yanyan wherever you go."

Zhou Yuwen laughed and said, "But I didn't forget about you either."

Su Qing couldn't be bothered with Zhou Yuwen. After everything that happened in China, Su Qing had matured a lot. She closed her eyes and soon drifted back to sleep.

Zhou Yuwen was also tired. Seeing Su Qing not responding to him, he closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep too.

It wasn't until the sun came up the next morning that Zhou Yuwen regained his energy.

He discovered that Su Qing was still asleep; she must have been truly exhausted last night. She had returned early, taken a quick shower, and fallen asleep wearing only a camisole and shorts.

In the morning, as Zhou Yuwen looked at her delicate legs resting on his lap, he became intrigued and tried to wake Su Qing, albeit abruptly.

Initially, Su Qing wasn't fully awake, and everything felt like a dream. She groggily felt a little pain, and when she saw Zhou Yuwen on top of her, she began to experience some sensations and cooperated with Zhou Yuwen by murmuring softly.

Lu Wanting had gone through quite an effort to adjust her mindset and was planning to accompany Zhou Yuwen to school to handle enrollment, so she dressed formally in a gray suit and let her hair down, looking quite like a young assistant of a wealthy family scion.

She took a deep breath, trying to forget about last night's events and approached Zhou Yuwen with a calm demeanor. However, as she reached the door, she heard soft murmuring from inside.

At first, she didn't understand what it meant, but as she listened closer, she heard Su Qing saying something like "faster, faster?"

Lu Wanting thought for a moment, and an image immediately formed in her mind.

Her face instantly turned red, and she didn't dare to knock on the door again.

She initially thought of delaying her knocking, but the registration time was approaching, so Lu Wanting hesitated and eventually gathered the courage to knock.

As soon as Lu Wanting knocked, the sounds in the room stopped immediately.

Zhou Yuwen's voice came through, "Who's there?"

Lu Wanting replied, "Yuwen, it's almost time for our appointment with the school."

The room went silent, as if they were talking.

It seemed Su Qing checked the time and realized they were running late, becoming anxious.

Zhou Yuwen, however, said, "Hold on, and could you help me pick up the clothes from yesterday?"

"Okay, sure."

Lu Wanting went to the laundry room to fetch Zhou Yuwen's clothes. Zhou Yuwen casually wrapped himself in a towel and opened the door.

Then he went into the bathroom to change.

Su Qing was still in bed, her face a bit flushed.

After freshening up, they had a quick bite to eat.

Zhou Yuwen switched to a four-seater convertible from the hotel and leisurely drove to Barnard College. On the way, Su Qing complained a bit, muttering that it would've been better if Zhou Yuwen hadn't come.

"You came over just to waste my time." Their state now was a bit like when they were married in a previous life.

Zhou Yuwen told her not to worry, assuring her they wouldn't be late.

They arrived at the school gate just around eleven in the morning.

Barnard College doesn't have a surrounding wall; it's distinguished from other buildings by some prominent landmarks. There were many Eastern faces here, mostly girls in their twenties.

Whether in foreign or domestic universities, students' extracurricular activities are abundant, and such gatherings might be more frequent abroad.

For instance, just as Zhou Yuwen parked the car, he noticed several girls in front of a large banner handing out flyers for various organizations like women's mutual aid and international student assistance groups.

Lu Wanting said she would help Su Qing with the enrollment procedures, asking Zhou Yuwen and Su Qing to wait outside.

During this time, a girl approached them.

"Excuse me, did you just arrive from the motherland?" The girl's voice was sweet, and she herself was very graceful, with fair skin and a slender figure. Her eyes radiated inherent confidence.

The two of them turned to look at the girl.

The girl gave a slight smile.

Zhou Yuwen was quite surprised to see the girl, as it was his first time encountering a famous person since his rebirth. This was the well-known wife of the Eastern Dog boss, the Milk Tea Sister from Huaqing University.

She was even more attractive than in photos, mainly because she had a sweet smile.

And even with Zhou Yuwen looking at her, she remained unfazed, even smiling at him, and then she said to Zhou Yuwen, "You're from Huaxia, right?"

Su Qing didn't recognize the girl in front of her, and maintained a cautious demeanor when approached by strangers in a foreign land. She didn't answer the Milk Tea Sister's question; instead, she coldly asked, "Do you need something?"

Zhang Tianze looked a little taken aback by Su Qing's coldness. Her fame in the country did bring her many conveniences, such as joining student aid groups in the US, where she became a vice president within half a year, and working with domestic business chambers or embassies.

For example, if a meeting required translators or service staff, their aid groups would organize a team to assist.

Zhang Tianze actually met Brother Dong at these aid groups, and they got along well and officially got together.

Even though Su Qing didn't answer Zhang Tianze's question, she did use Chinese.

As a result, Zhang Tianze's surprise didn't show, and she simply smiled slightly, saying, "It's like this, I'm Zhang Tianze, vice president of our Barnard College Foreign Students Committee. I noticed you look unfamiliar, so is this your first time at our college? Are you here to study abroad?"

Zhang Tianze's smile was genuinely friendly, but it didn't work on Su Qing.

Su Qing didn't have any impression of her at all, just thinking that people who offered unsolicited kindness were either up to no good or thieves, so she just turned away from her.

You couldn't blame Su Qing; if Zhang Tianze introduced herself more, or they got to know each other, Su Qing might remember a bit about Zhang Tianze from her previous life, realizing that people like her weren't scammers and were worth getting to know.

But now, she only saw Zhang Tianze's face.

Su Qing just thought, this woman is too pretty, she seems dangerous.

Su Qing's coldness left Zhang Tianze, who usually got along with everyone, a bit stumped. By rights, she should know who she was.

Just two months ago, her relationship with Brother Dong had been revealed, and it was broadcast on major media.

Su Qing's indifference led Zhang Tianze to glance at Zhou Yuwen by her side.

Zhou Yuwen recognized the girl and smiled, nodding, "Do you need something?"

Zhou Yuwen's response spared Zhang Tianze from further awkwardness, and she quickly smiled and explained she just wanted to show them around the campus since it was their first time here.

"Wouldn't that be a bit of a hassle for you?" Zhou Yuwen said with a smile.

Zhang Tianze shook her head, saying it wouldn't be.

"We're all fellow countrymen. Hey, you look quite familiar." Zhang Tianze had actually noticed Zhou Yuwen earlier, feeling she'd seen him in some newspaper but couldn't quite recall. But she thought anyone capable of studying abroad must have some ability or a family with some clout.

That's why Zhang Tianze took the initiative to approach them, hoping Zhou Yuwen would introduce himself after she made this remark.

To her surprise, Zhou Yuwen just laughed and said, "You look familiar too."

"Uh," this left Zhang Tianze unsure whether Zhou Yuwen actually recognized her, so she simply laughed.

She introduced herself confidently, "Let me introduce myself, I'm Zhang Tianze from Huaqing University. What about you?"
