Primordial Lust System

Chapter 9: A gift from the sky?

A gift from the sky?

"Grandpa… in the ring?" Aurelian whispered, pacing in a lonely clearing far from the Graegor family, moonlight draping his restless form.

"Argh, dammit! I need a ring first." He cursed, checking his bare fingers as if one might magically appear, then let out a growl of frustration.

If only I had a goddamn freaking system! All this would have been easy, but no. Aurelian cursed again, delving deeper into his thoughts.

There had to be something. A hidden treasure? A relic of fate? Yet nothing had revealed itself to him. Maybe… maybe he wasn't chosen.

He dropped heavily to the ground, sighing as he sifted through the fragments of memory now fused with his own. At least he now no longer felt like some glaring anomaly wearing another man's skin.

With that came a sort of reprieve. Ten days from now, all awakened would be led to the dungeons to level up before academy recruitment.

Turns out there were bigger fish than the Graegor family. He could only imagine his disappointment when he realized the patriarch was only a C-rank Hunter. But then again, he didn't have shit to worry about. So much for being some kind of prince.

Looking back, he was nothing but a frog staring at the sky from the bottom of a well.

What he wanted most now was power. The urge for revenge had dulled into a bitter scoff. Surviving and protecting himself was enough for now.

Aurora would come for him sooner or later; he wasn't naïve. But she'd only awakened her talent. Her class would not manifest until she slew her first beast in the dungeon. Until then, she was the same as before.

Assassinating her was out of the question, not due to some sense of morality, but the sliver of intelligence he still had.

Her awakening had stirred a commotion, and it wouldn't be surprising if she had multiple bodyguards protecting her. He had no backer as well. His parents just happened to vanish when he was six years old. Great. Just fucking great.

No matter how he turned it, every path led to the same conclusion: he was fucked.

And as the thought took root, his eyes couldn't help but drift down the cliff he was currently standing on as an insane thought manifested.

He had transmigrated once, no? So what was stopping him from doing the same again? Jump off the cliff and awaken in another world where maybe he would have a system. Seemed feasible, right?

Yeah, I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Real death. And a stupid way to die.

"…Nah, that's too cowardly." He shook his head, muttering to himself. "I just transmigrated, and my grand plan is… suicide? Pathetic."

Still, doubt gnawed at him. There has to be something I'm missing.

Something like—

"What the fuck… is that?!" His voice cracked as a streak of light tore across the heavens, headed straight for him.

A comet? No, a falling star.

"Holy shit! What does that even mean? A sign?" For a heartbeat he stood frozen, wide-eyed, until survival instinct snapped him awake.

The only sign this star carried was death by being flattened. And that didn't sound like a noble end.

So he did the most logical thing...He ran.

"What have you done to me?"

Princess Areola snapped, her eyes glowing with a silverish ethereal light, her aura rising steadily.

"Oh, you mean that pilI I crushed into powder?" Lucien smirked, his voice dripping with cruelty. "Or should I say… aphrodisiac?"

"No... you wouldn't dare..."

"Oh, but I did, sister. That heat clawing at your insides? The restless fire begging for release? Or perhaps the tingling has already started?"

"You bastard! I'm your sister!"

"Half-sister," he corrected smoothly, grin widening. "Which makes this all the more… delicious."

"Hahaha! Bold of you to assume this would weaken me. My sword heart is unblemished. Your tricks shall not work against me. And for this atrocity, you shall fall by my blade. Blood or not."

"Ohoho, that's the interesting part. You really don't give me enough credit. The heart is pure, but the flesh is tainted. This aphrodisiac will integrate with your flesh, masking it from your sword heart. Your only cure shall be if I fuck the brains out of you! And when I do, I shall absorb all your essence, and with it my potential shall supersede what you could only dream of! And when the court sees the Crown Princess broken? Your throne will be mine."

Sweat dripped from Areola's body, the effects already taking place as the robes she wore clung to her.

"Hahaha! Give in, sister, you've already lost. There's no point in resisting. The aphrodisiac has heavily clouded your mind, and without clarity you cannot tap into that stupid sword heart of yours."

Areola's breath calmed, her silver eyes snapping open before landing on Lucien. A smile now laced her lips, which broke into a giggle, then full maniacal laughter.

"Funny, isn't it? Me underestimating you, and you doing the same. I put this mark in place years ago, though I didn't think you would be the one to make me invoke it."

Her voice rang out as runes lit up around her chest, startling Lucien as he yelled out in shock.

"A teleportation talisman? Impossible!!"

"Oh, nothing is impossible, Lucien. I thought you knew better." Her figure began to fade, and to his despair, a whisper cold as ice itself escaped her lips.

"Wash your neck, Lucien. I will be back for it…"

And with that, she vanished into a flurry of runes.

What the fuck am I doing? Aurelian snapped out of his thoughts. Wasn't this what he had been fretting about? The heavens had really heard him. A supreme treasure fallen from the heavens... nothing more fitting for a protagonist such as him. Yes, this would be his rise!

Turning back, he bolted toward the crash site, adrenaline pumping. If this was a treasure, he'd seize it before anyone else.

Best case, it was something he could merge with. Yes. Yes! A grin spread across his face, painting fantasies of power. But his stride faltered when he saw her, a girl.

His supreme treasure… was a girl?

Weird. Still, probably useful.

Before he could wonder how to awaken her, the answer came on its own. She inhaled sharply, silver eyes snapping open, hair the same radiant hue cascading around her face.

She turned those piercing eyes on him.

"Mortal human. What is your name?"

Strange way to start a conversation, but the reply left his lips almost by instinct. "Aurelian Graegor?"

She tilted her head, expression unreadable. "Hmmm. A warrior's name. Good enough. Now...shed away my virginity."

"…Huh?"

Aurelian blinked, the words crashing into him like another meteor.

This...this was not ho

w things were supposed to go.

And more importantly...did a girl just fall from the heavens and ask him to fuck her?
