Primordial God Of Time

Chapter 182: Return To Nothingness...

According to them, they were ninety-nine percent certain they could kill the anomaly.

This number shocked Kranos deeply.

But with the depth and experience of the Scarlet Moon Organization, known for years of assassination, it made sense.

Their skill in eliminating difficult targets had only grown over time, and Kranos was eager to see if they could truly deliver.

Aside from that, there was nothing else that happened during the one month time.

In another space, the same scene played out and the whole world was alerted of the phenomena.

Everyone began moving, everything progressed exactly as in the previous timeline.

Winds flowed and the clouds seemed exceptionally misty, casting a warm feeling on Aurora's face.

Standing in front of her master, she heard her master repeat the same words as before.

After some hesitation, she asked,

"Master, is there a way to counter the divine illusion eyes?"

The flawless beauty stared at Aurora with some emotion in her eyes. There was also curiosity in her gaze.

"Why are you looking for a way to counter the divine illusion eyes?" Aurora had never asked about this before, and although she knew Aurora was naturally curious, there was no need to be curious about something she hadn't encountered before.

Aurora thought for a moment, then sighed and said,

"Since it is one of the divine eyes, there should be something special about it. Is there a way to perhaps… destroy it?"

Glancing at her, the flawless beauty noticed the irregularities with her.

Her hands were tightly clutched and there was a hint of nervousness about her.

Despite trying to keep it hidden, she could still sense the nervousness in her voice and her expressions were easily noticeable by the flawless beauty.

'The heavenly illusion eyes huh?' she thought with a smile, gazing into the distance.

She had encountered many divine eyes, but in the end they had lost to her.

The essence of nothingness wasn't something that could easily be countered.

She stood up and then stared at a few trees.

"Your talent is extremely high. There is nothing you can't learn given some time."

"Let me teach you a divine technique. One that is ranked at the peerless level."

The grades of divine techniques were divided into mortal, immortal, divine, profound, transcendent, peerless.

From that, it was easily understandable that the technique was very far from ordinary.

After all, Kranos' heaven and earth movement technique was just at the mortal level.

"Okay, master," Aurora said and nodded obediently, quickly walking to her master's side on tiptoes.

"To use any of the divine eyes, one needs divine energy."

"To destroy the divine eyes, all you need to do is turn that divine energy to nothing…"

"We are born different from other races, with the ability to control the essence of nothingness."

"Everything is born from nothing and everything goes back to nothing."

As her master spoke, she waved her hand towards the few trees not too far away.

The trees slowly began to wither as though they were aging backwards…

From the slight withering, the trees slowly turned to dust then quickly became…

Nonexistent.

They had returned to nothingness.

"What?" Aurora was filled with shock as she stared at her master as though she was an entity.

She had never seen her master fight, but she could long tell that her master was a super expert.

Her master was definitely far from ordinary.

"Master… I… uh… I'm confused," Aurora said after a while of closing her eyes to comprehend the technique.

The flawless beauty laughed. It was only normal that Aurora couldn't understand the technique.

Although she had a terrifying level of comprehension and talent, it hadn't completely been unlocked to the maximum.

"Here," her master pointed at Aurora's forehead and a white light flew from her hand and into her head.

"This is a wisp of my essence. It can help you to comprehend the technique faster. Also, there is a one-time use of the technique within which can help you cast the technique once in case you haven't comprehended it."

After saying all these, the flawless beauty thought for a moment before speaking, "Head to the divine inheritance. You might find something that interests you there."

After speaking, she no longer paid attention to Aurora and closed her eyes.

She floated freely in the aura and subconsciously her legs came together and she sat in a lotus position midair.

Aurora stared at her master, and seeing that she had entered into a different state, she let out a faint sigh, thanked her master, then quickly rushed in the direction of the divine battlefield according to her memory.

The flawless beauty opened her eyes for a moment and glanced at Aurora, then closed them back.

A mutter echoed in her mind.

"Aurora… grow strong quickly so you could go meet my true body in the upper heavens…"

Time passed and soon Kranos and the others reached the immortal world.

Everything was as Kranos remembered.

The trials lasted for a while and were soon over, bringing them to the final stage of the inheritance ground.

The obtainment of the relics.

After completing the trials, Kranos, Kathryn and Kevin met with Luka.

He still looked casual. Glancing at them, he echoed the same words as in his previous timeline.

"It's nice seeing you all again."

Kathryn stared at him curiously then asked,

"How have you been?" Kathryn asked curiously, staring at him.

"Well, my cultivation has been progressing smoothly. I broke through to the monarch realm."

As he spoke, he released his aura, causing Kevin and Kranos to shudder slightly.

But Kranos didn't feel too much pressure from the aura.

He had dealt with things much more terrifying.

He heard a whistling sound and glanced in the direction of the sound. The others did as well.

They noticed a figure streaking through the skies.

She was dressed in flowing light blue robes which made her seem no different from the skies.

Her speed was exceptionally fast and in an instant she reached Kranos and the others.

Aurora had arrived.

"Your friend," Aurora turned to Kranos with a smile.

Kranos let out a light laugh.

"Yes, my… uh, friend."

Luka turned to Aurora as well the moment she arrived. She was a true beauty.

Kranos noticed something different about her.

He couldn't tell what it was but she had a strange, mysterious aura about her.

It seemed distant and wouldn't have been noticeable if he hadn't been in close proximity with her as in his previous life.

The corner of his eyes caught sight of something in the distance.

Gathered were a few cultivators radiating extremely terrifying auras.

God realm cultivators.

And it wasn't just one god realm cultivator, rather they were ten gathered together as though they were from a certain faction.

Scarlet Moon Organization.

Kranos didn't need anyone to tell him that this was the assurance of the Scarlet Moon Organization.

Besides, contrary to the normal, he could sense that the ten god realm cultivators were vastly different from what he had ever encountered.

The pressure they radiated as they stood together was unlike anything he had felt before.

'Things are very interesting.'

Kranos said internally.

Meanwhile, Kathryn frowned. Things were playing out differently from what she expected.

She couldn't place a hand on it but there was an uneasy feeling within her heart.

There were also some changes in the divine battlefield which was vastly different from what she remembered.

Kranos was accounted for since she had brought him here despite him not being in the battlefield in her previous life.

The other thing was the fact that she wasn't expecting ten god realm cultivators who were at the peak of cultivation.

They were also the elites of the Scarlet Moon Organization.

It was as though they were prepared to kill… her.

She frowned at the thought.

She wasn't scared of them though, she was just cautious of any uncertain variable that might arise.

'Thankfully, aside from the divine illusion eyes… I still have that.'

Kathryn recalled something and no longer dwelled on the issue anymore.

Aurora glanced at them then quietly walked to the side, meanwhile communicating with him internally.

"I have gotten the way to counter the divine illusion eyes from my master. Everything is prepared already. As long as she has no other trump cards there should be no issue with us killing her."

Kranos nodded internally at her words. He was pleased.

With the Scarlet Moon Organization's ninety-nine percent assurance and Aurora getting everything else from her master, everything was set.

Kranos was prepared to kill Kathryn.

Everything was flowing perfectly, and his chess pieces were moving in the right places.

Kranos was watching everything play out perfectly.

"Should we kill her off now?" Aurora asked internally.

Kranos was stumped and quickly replied internally, "Of course not, now isn't the perfect time."

Before coming here, this was the same thing he had told the Scarlet Moon Organization.

When he gave the sign, they would commence their attack.

"You seem to have a plan in mind?" Aurora turned to glance at Kranos through the corner of her eyes.

Kranos just shrugged and didn't say anything.

Of course he had a plan in mind. Not only did he want to kill Kathryn, he wanted the treasures as well.

All of them.

Kranos wanted to emerge as the ultimate victor of the chess game.

Thinking of chess…

It had been a while since he basked in the feeling of the game of chess…
