Kathryn's face held a playful smile which she didn't hide in the slightest, making her grin widen.

Glancing at the unremarkably young man, she didn't say anything but instead continued watching him with a look of interest.

The unremarkable young man didn't seem to notice her peculiar facial expression. Instead, he turned his attention to Kranos and the other two.

"You, with the mysterious essence of nothingness, turning ashes to ashes and dust to dust. How interesting. I wonder what someone from the Black Rain Pavilion is doing here."

"However, seeing as this young man has the ability to control time, it is pretty obvious you are here to devour him. After all, isn't that how you cultivators of the Essence of Nothingness grow in strength?"

The unremarkable young man glanced at Kranos and Aurora as he spoke. Previously, during their battle, he had already noted down all of their abilities.

He vaguely felt that Kathryn was the most mysterious of them all. Despite being able to sense the unique qualities of Kranos and Aurora, he couldn't tell what was different about Kathryn!

"Now, onto the main course…"

He said with a smile.

At this, everyone's expression changed drastically. Desmond quickly turned into a shadow and entered into Kevin's shadow.

Since the terrifying nature of Kranos and Aurora had been revealed, and he already knew that Kathryn was an anomaly whom he couldn't risk his life against, he knew his only chance of survival was hiding in Kevin's shadow.

At least Kevin seemed the least dangerous.

Seeing this, the unremarkable young man didn't say anything but just grinned.

The next moment, he stretched his hand, and soon a wave of gravitational pull quickly emanated from his hand.

Before Kevin and his shadow could react, they were pulled by a strange force.

"Almighty Pull!"

Kathryn's eyes flashed. Seeing her brother in danger, she knew that she could no longer delay.

"So this is what the great Rogue Emperor has amounted to…"

The moment her playful voice resounded in the surroundings, the unremarkable young man froze in his tracks.

The next moment, he raised his frosty gaze to look at Kathryn deeply.

"Little elf, how do you know that information?" No one knew whose inheritance ground this was, and moreover, he didn't expect someone of the younger generation to understand his true identity.

All everyone could see was the man writhing and twisting violently, as though he was being attacked. However, they couldn't understand what was happening.

Aurora stared at Kathryn, whose eyes were now glowing ominously with a deep emerald green light.

She recalled some teachings from her master, and she was immediately shocked. "Is that one of the Divine Eyes—the Divine Eyes of Illusion???"

She felt as though she had been struck by lightning.

Meanwhile, Kathryn just watched calmly as the flames formed from her illusions burned through the man.

Soon, in the unremarkable young man's point of view, he slowly turned into a wave of ashes drifting in the wind.

His soul was destroyed, and his body burned to ashes—without a chance of recovery.

In everyone's view, they watched as the man, after struggling for a while, finally succumbed to whatever was burning him and lay sprawled on the ground, lifeless.

Everyone's gaze was filled with horror.

Staring at the young man who was sprawled on the ground, they could hardly believe that it was the same person who had been so strong previously.

Kathryn just smiled at the sight, then her cold and intense gaze slowly turned to Aurora and Desmond, who were hiding in Kevin's shadow.

The moment they felt her gaze, they both felt a chill run down their spines…
