Power smoking

Chapter 6: The Fall of Shadows

The night in Loguetown had reached its peak, the air burning with the energy of the brutal battle between Smoker and Rex. There were no spectators, no witnesses—just two men clashing amidst smoke and Haki, each trying to bring the other down.

The street had turned into a warzone; walls were crumbling, the ground was riddled with deep cracks, and the air was thick with the scent of smoke and blood. But despite everything, neither of them was willing to back down.

Rex wiped the blood gathering at the corner of his mouth, his eyes still gleaming with determination.

"You're the toughest opponent I've faced in a long time, Smoker."

But Smoker wasn't in the mood for compliments. He exhaled a slow puff of smoke, his narrowed eyes locked onto his opponent.

"This ends now."

And without warning—

Smoker lunged forward!

His entire body transformed into a maelstrom of thick black smoke, engulfing Rex like a beast devouring its prey. The winds howled through the alley, and the ground trembled under the force of the attack.

Rex leapt back, but…

—BOOM!!!

He was struck with a force he never expected!

His Haki wasn't enough to fully shield him, and a faint cracking sound echoed—a broken rib.

But he had no time to dwell on the pain. In less than a second, he felt smoke wrapping around his entire body!

"Damn it… he's trapping me!"

"Absolute White Prison!"

Smoker's voice sliced through the darkness, and with it, the smoke around Rex solidified into a completely sealed dome!

Inside, the pressure started to rise rapidly. The air grew heavier, as if the very space itself was trying to crush him alive.

"Not good…"

Rex focused all his energy, his blackened Haki surging to cover his entire body. Then—

An explosion!

A red flash!

His Conqueror's Haki erupted, trying to shatter the smoke prison!

But…

It didn't break.

Rex's eyes widened in shock.

Outside, Smoker watched in silence before murmuring:

"It's useless… not anymore."

Then—he clenched his fist.

The smoky walls started closing in rapidly!

A crushing force pressed down on Rex's body, his bones screaming under the mounting pressure.

"Damn it… I can't… breathe!"

He tried to push back with everything he had… but slowly, his body began to fail him.

He dropped to his knees, his breathing ragged, the Conqueror's Haki surrounding him beginning to fade.

Outside, Smoker showed no mercy.

"This is the difference between us."

Then, with one final motion of his hand—

—BOOOOOM!!!

The prison collapsed inward, triggering a massive smoke explosion!

And when the fog cleared…

Rex lay motionless on the ground.

The battle was over.

Smoker stood over him, gazing down for a moment before pulling out his cigar, lighting it again, and taking a slow drag.

Then, in a cold but respectful tone, he muttered:

"You were strong… but not strong enough."

Turning away, he began walk

ing off. There was no need to finish Rex—he knew the man **wouldn't be getting up again… at
