The Rocket grunt, panicking, issued the desperate order.

He glanced behind him at Mew, floating innocently.

Through the power of Evergreen, Satoshi understood Mew's response: "Fight that terrifying snake? You must be kidding!"

The Rocket leader's laughter cut through the smoke. From within the dissipating haze, a massive, glowing Arbok emerged. Its blood-red eyes and pulsating body screamed unnatural power.

Charmeleon roared, unleashing a torrent of flames. Frogadier followed up with a high-pressure jet of water, the two attacks converging on Arbok.

"Arbok, [Poison Fang]!"

The mutated Arbok lunged forward, its fangs glowing with venomous energy. It tore through the flames and water, closing in on Charmeleon.

But Arbok struggled, its movements sluggish. The side effects of the serum were taking hold.

"Shut up! Arbok, [Acid Spray]!"

The captain's desperation was evident as Arbok managed to unleash a cloud of corrosive acid.

Arbok let out one final, pained hiss before collapsing.
