Pokemon: The Master Of Monsters

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Two shadowy figures leapt onto the central stage of the auction house, their sudden appearance stunning the crowd.

"Ah...! Who are you?" Ishibashi, the auctioneer, blurted out, startled. Tonight's event had no scheduled performances, and these two weren't part of the staff.

The two figures smirked at the stunned audience.

"Since you asked sincerely…"

"…Normally, we wouldn't answer!"

The pair tossed off their cloaks, revealing the familiar black uniforms of Team Rocket. The woman had long golden hair, and the man sported green hair.

"What? Team Rocket?"

"How could they show up here?"

The audience began whispering nervously. They all knew about Team Rocket's infamy as a criminal organization.

In the crowd, Kai narrowed his eyes. "Why are they here?"

The two on stage weren't ordinary Team Rocket grunts. They were Cassidy and Butch, well-known members of Team Rocket whose skill and status far surpassed that of Jessie and James.

"Security!" Ishibashi shouted.

But no one came.

"Don't waste your breath," Butch sneered. "We've already dealt with your security team."

Cassidy's cold gaze swept over the room. "Hand over all your Pokémon if you value your lives. Resist, and you'll regret it."

With her command, a group of Team Rocket grunts stormed into the hall, armed with rocket launchers and machine guns. The sight of the weapons caused immediate panic.

The crowd screamed in fear. Despite their wealth, most attendees weren't Trainers, and the few who had Pokémon weren't strong enough to counter armed criminals.

"Rich Trainers wouldn't waste their time here, and poor Trainers can't even afford to enter," Kai muttered, quickly assessing the situation. "These people are just sitting ducks."

Beside him, Sabrina frowned. "There are twelve of them," she said.

As a Psychic, Sabrina had already activated her powers to sense the number of enemies in the building.

"Can you handle them?" Kai asked.

"Yes," Sabrina replied confidently.

Kai smirked. "Good. I'll release my Pokémon to take out their weapons. Don't hold back."

"Understood."

Kai stepped forward, pulling five Poké Balls from his belt. He threw them into the air, and a burst of light revealed his Pokémon: Wartortle, Exeggutor, Scizor, Crobat, and Alakazam.

"Exeggutor, Alakazam, use Reflect to shield the crowd! Wartortle, Crobat, Scizor, focus on disarming the grunts. Take out those weapons!"

The Pokémon sprang into action.

"What's happening?!"

"I can't pull the trigger!"

The grunts tried to fire their weapons, but the triggers wouldn't budge. Sabrina's eyes glowed blue as she used her Psychic powers to lock the weapons in place.

"Wartortle, Water Gun!" Kai commanded.

Wartortle unleashed a torrent of water, knocking two rocket launchers out of the grunts' hands.

Scizor zipped through the room with incredible speed, smashing rifles to pieces with its claws.

Crobat used Cross Poison to disable the remaining weapons, while Alakazam used Confusion to gather the grunts' grenades into a neat pile.

"What the…?!" Cassidy and Butch gawked, their plans unraveling.

They had carefully chosen this venue, assuming the wealthy patrons wouldn't be capable Trainers. They hadn't anticipated running into someone like Kai.

Kai and Sabrina stepped forward, facing the Team Rocket duo.

"Who do you brats think you are?" Cassidy sneered, throwing a Poké Ball.

A Raticate appeared on the stage, baring its sharp teeth.

"Wartortle, you're up," Kai said calmly.

Cassidy didn't hesitate. "Raticate, use Hyper Fang!"

"Wartortle, counter with Aqua Jet!"

Wartortle retreated into its shell and spun rapidly, creating a spiral of water around itself. It shot forward like a missile, slamming into Raticate and sending it flying.

"What?!" Cassidy gasped.

"Finish it with Water Pulse!" Kai ordered.

Wartortle fired a pulsating orb of water, striking Raticate and knocking it out instantly.

"Scizor, Bullet Punch!" Kai called.

Scizor darted across the room, taking down two of the grunts' Rattata with swift, precise strikes.

Exeggutor and Alakazam used Psychic attacks to eliminate the rest of Team Rocket's Pokémon. The grunts had only brought weak Pokémon like Zubat and Rattata, which stood no chance against Kai's well-trained team.

Even Butch's Infernape, his strongest Pokémon, was swiftly defeated by Sabrina's Alakazam using Psybeam.

"Damn it!" Cassidy growled. "What's happening? Why can't we move?"

Cassidy and Butch tried to retreat, but found themselves immobilized. Sabrina's Psychic powers had locked them, along with the remaining grunts, in place.

"Exeggutor, put them to sleep," Kai instructed.

Sabrina used her powers to gather all the Team Rocket members into one spot. Exeggutor's three heads glowed as it unleashed waves of Hypnosis, sending Cassidy, Butch, and their grunts into a deep sleep.

With the danger neutralized, Kai turned to Ishibashi. "You can call the police now."

Ishibashi nodded, still in shock. "R-right!"

He hurried backstage and found the security team tied up. After freeing them, he contacted the authorities and worked to calm the panicked auction attendees.

Fifteen minutes later, Officer Lian and her team arrived to arrest the subdued criminals.

"Impressive work," Lian said, nodding to Kai and Sabrina. "We'll take it from here."

With Team Rocket dealt with, order was finally restored.
