Chapter 46: The Master Ball! A Purple Tier Entry: Immunity

---

"Damn! This kid…"

The Torterra, in a state of fury, unleashed Frenzy Plant, a devastating move.

The ground cracked open, with countless vines surging up, coiling and twisting as they charged toward Charmeleon.

"Flamethrower! Focus it in one spot!"

Charmeleon, caught off guard by the sudden onslaught, was surrounded by a sea of writhing vines.

"Blast through with fire!" Hikaru commanded sharply.

The eerie white flames of Bone Coldfire roared to life. Charmeleon's aura shimmered as its strength surged once more.

Despite Frenzy Plant's reputation as a near-unbreakable attack, Charmeleon managed to burn a path through, emerging from the fiery chaos.

"What the hell!?"

The guardian, who had initially intended to stop the fight, stood frozen.

At first, he thought this audacious young trainer was simply overestimating himself, challenging a Gym-level Torterra with mid-tier Pokémon.

But to his shock, the boy's Charmeleon had broken through Frenzy Plant—an attack so formidable that even the Scyther in this realm struggled against it.

"All right, that's enough! Time to pull back!"

The Pokémon had fought to their heart's content. Hikaru decided it was time to retreat.

With a swift Teleport, he disappeared from the battlefield.

Through his Aura Detection, Hikaru had sensed the presence of a nearby guardian observing the fight.

"Damn kid!"

The guardian cursed as he found himself facing Torterra's wrath.

Having been abandoned mid-battle, the enraged Torterra now redirected its fury toward the guardian and his Arcanine.

"Arcanine, Flamethrower!"

With no other choice, the guardian ordered his Arcanine to subdue the enraged Torterra.

---

Elsewhere in the mountains…

"Damn, that was exhilarating!" Hikaru exclaimed.

Having equipped the Forest Friend entry, his Pokémon were recovering their strength rapidly.

Charmeleon, now at level 26, was visibly stronger. The vine lash marks on its body were healing at an impressive rate.

Frogadier had also advanced to level 22.

There was no doubt that battles against stronger opponents yielded incredible rewards.

"Rawr!" Charmeleon growled enthusiastically, eager for more action.

Hikaru patted its head. "Don't worry, we'll go back tomorrow for round two."

He decided to camp in the secret realm for several days, planning to spar with Torterra periodically while also hunting for treasures.

---

For the next few days, Hikaru and his team returned to challenge Torterra repeatedly.

Initially, Hikaru relied on Teleport to retreat when necessary. However, by the fourth day, Torterra seemed to resign itself to these frequent interruptions.

By the seventh day, the guardian finally caught Hikaru in the act.

After confirming his identity, the guardian delivered a stern lecture, chastising Hikaru for repeatedly disturbing the realm's balance.

As Hikaru departed, the guardian sighed, glancing at the weary Torterra.

"What a monstrous kid. He's only in his first year of high school, yet his future seems limitless…"

---

Satisfied with his progress, Hikaru set his sights on the next secret realm.

Along the way, his weekly entry refreshed.

[Purple Tier Entry: Immunity]

"Upon receiving a fatal blow, negate all damage. Limited use: 3 times. Can be equipped to any target at will."

Hikaru's eyes lit up.

A purple-tier entry!

What's more, it was a versatile, life-saving ability.

"This will let me take even bigger risks in secret realms!" he thought excitedly.

He also noticed that as his strength—and that of his Pokémon—grew, the quality of entries had noticeably improved.

Previously, daily entries were almost always white-tier, but now green and blue entries were appearing more frequently.

When he consulted the system, it confirmed his suspicion:

"As the host's power increases, the likelihood of obtaining high-tier entries also increases."

Reassured, Hikaru smiled and turned to the entry shop for the day's offerings.

"Hmm? What's this?"

[Master Ball (Unique Item): Captures any Pokémon without fail. Cost: 5000 entry points.]

Hikaru froze.

A Master Ball!

The ultimate Poké Ball capable of capturing even mythical Pokémon.

Its hefty cost of 5000 entry points, however, was staggering.

"Guess I won't be getting that anytime soon," he muttered with a wry smile.

Still, the very appearance of this item in the shop gave him hope.

The Master Ball represented a chance to do what no one else had done—capture a deity-level Pokémon.

Most supposed "legendary captures" were merely high-stat Pokémon, lacking true divine power.

To capture a Pokémon of myth would require not just luck, but an artifact like the Master Ball.

With newfound determination, Hikaru set his sights on his next destination: the Psyduck of Water Kettle Secret Realm.

This particular Psyduck was described as having exceptional psychic potential, though its water-based abilities were lacking.

The description reminded Hikaru of the "Misty psyduck" from the anime—a seemingly ordinary Psyduck that became a force of nature when its headaches flared.

Upon arriving at the Water Kettle Secret Realm, Hikaru used Aura Detection to locate the Psyduck.

To his surprise, he found it surrounded by a group of women, who were happily feeding it energy cubes.
